If there were more than 5 stars to rate this beautiful home I’d give them all. So spacious and perfectly appointed. Wonderful to be greeted by the friendly chickens every time we returned and they were kind enough to give us eggs each day. Fun to hear the cows and sheep in the fields. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Stars beyond our imagination each clear night. Felt like home, only with extra luxury. Enjoyed taking day trips to all of the surrounding Catlins attractions.

Had a great time at Chris’ place! A cute house within walking distance of the small town of Lawrence which has some hidden gems. Chris was always responsive and friendly and offered some helpful local recommendations! Loved the cute sheep and cows!

Loved how The Church House has been renovated to include some of the original church features! The bedrooms were styled nicely with comfortable large beds. And the shower temperature and pressure was really good. The homemade bread was delicious, and the other continental breakfast options were a nice addition. There was also Netflix and board games for entertainment. Could definitely have stayed longer. Thank you! 😁

The location was great for us, as we were travelling out of the area each day. We stayed three nights and loved coming “ home” every night. Roomy, comfortable with fabulous bed and luxurious bedding and towels. Lots of water pressure and hot water. Ample cutlery dishes utensils which was nice to have. We would highly recommend
