Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wye

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

My friends and I had a great stay! The place had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect touch that made our trip even more special. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We were a family party of 7 who meet up the same time each year. This accommodation was just perfect - literally had anything you need. We were lucky with the weather and managed to have 2 BBQ in the lovely garden. Would definitely stay here again

Really great stay for a large group, wirh fantastic sized bedrooms all round, plenty of space for everyone and lovely outdoor space for good weather!

Victoria’s house was amazing. A group of us stayed for a walking weekend and was the perfect spot to walk to Dungeness and back. The rear access to the dunes and the beach was incredible. Victoria is an amazing host and was helpful and responsive all the way. Would definitely recommend.

Had a two night stay in 'The Dairy'. Lovely place. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Great views from the hot tub (enjoyed watching the local horses rolling in the morning!) Straight forward check in with no problems. Only suggestion would be a hook or two in the bathroom - there wasnt much space for toothbrushes/wash bag for 4 people. But really cant fault it. Would recommend. Thanks.

A perfect hidden gem — peaceful, cosy, and the ideal escape. The hot tub and sauna were such a treat, especially after coastal walks, and the space was so thoughtfully set up for both us and our dog. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing stay — we’ll absolutely be back!

Such a beautiful property, surrounded by peaceful countryside and at the end of a country road so there was no passing traffic. A quintessential English period property, beautifully and tastefully decorated with everything that you need for a wonderful stay. Lisa was delightful, excellent communication and warm with her welcome. The beds were comfortable and everywhere clean and tidy. The barn also lovely and our extended family enjoyed staying there. The garden truly beautiful and in May after a warm start to the year so many flowers were in bloom, roses and wisteria around the front door and lilac along the pathway. Excellent seating on the terrace ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks, we just wish our time there was less frantic, would love to return and slow down to enjoy this perfect rental. Wonderful stay in the grounds of such a beautiful garden. Walk to the beach and high street was 10 minutes and Frank was more than happy to show us the quick routes to do this. The accommodation had everything we needed for a short stay with our children (family of 5). We were happy to all be in one room (sleeping wise) and the children happily played in the very large garden. We enjoyed the tranquility of the spot and a morning cuppa on the decked area in the sun. It was extremely easy to walk into whitstable high street and the beach and the hosts were absolutely lovely. Thank you for a great last minute stay away.

We had a great stay at Deannas beautiful house! It was said by multiple guests that it felt really homely and a very loved home, which is hard to find when looking for large rentals! We were very lucky with the weather so were able to make the most of the beautiful and well looked after garden, which comfortably sat us all. It was also very well equipped which made our lives so much easier trying to cater to 14 people, with additional fridge and freezer in the utility room. Deanna was a great host, and went above and beyond to ensure we had local information and fun things to do, with a relaxed check in and out time which was greatly appreciated. Thank you again for an incredible stay, I look forward to hopefully booking again soon!

We’ve just got back from the most wonderful weekend at Winchelsea Beach, Anne Rebecca’s Airbnb is perfect for a quiet break, right next to the sea. I have been visiting Winchelsea for over 50 years and I think this was one of my most favourite stays. The location is amazing, quiet and pretty the accommodation faultless and well maintained and great provisions inside and out host was lovely. Thank you Anne Rebecca, we loved it and will most definitely be back.

Had a lovely few days over May bank holiday with friends and their 2 young kids. Being 7mths pregnant it was great to be so close to the beach too. Lovely little house, would recommend

Great stay. Everything was as described and there were even toys and books for children. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Only a short walk down to the seafront. Easy to park along the road.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely—spotlessly clean, cosy but modern and very well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We especially appreciated the helpful local guide they provided—it made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. A short walk from the beach and just 10mins from Rye town centre. We will definitely be back.

Abigail’s place is charming, full of character and located in a very peaceful street. We felt at home straight away with a lovely bright, well-stocked kitchen, comfy bed and coffee machine. It was close to the seafront and also the beating heart of Ramsgate with a Waitrose just around the corner - you couldn’t ask for a better spot. We loved our visit to Ramsgate and would definitely stay at Abigail’s lovely home again. Thank you!

This is a lovely home in Broadstairs. It was the perfect fit for our family and dog. Our young girls loved playing in the back deck area. We were able to try several restaurants. Access to the beach was so close and easy - much needed with little kids!

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

Lovely accommodation in a wonderful location. Ideal for a dog, with walk routes starting opposite the property.

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

We had a great stay here. Perfect for the group of 11 we had. Plenty of space very clean and tidy as just as stunning as the photos

Absolutely fabulous!! What a perfect place! The location is superb, just enough out of the way to be quiet and see all the stars, yet close enough to the cities and transportation to get anywhere you need without a fuss. Plus the pool and the gardens!! What a fantastic treat! Alex was so wonderfully accommodating and helpful! She had all the little niceties, especially for a family, that made our stay just a little bit easier. Super clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better host or accommodations!

An absolutely beautiful house in a gorgeous location. We had a lovely weekend with walks up and down the coast and a short drive to a great pub for Sunday lunch. Maggie was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely love to stay again.
