Bicester Village outlet centre is a short drive away. From the Duck House there is a short walk to the award winning 16th Century Thatched Pub, the Red Lion, in our village. There are many lovely walks around the village, surrounding countryside and path along the River Thames.

Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

Thorpe Park, Legoland and Windsor are a bus ride from Staines. Train access to London is a 20 minute walk to the station, then a 35-40 minutes on the train, or 5 minute drive to nearest parking for the station. The garden has seating and there are lovely walks along the River Thames to Staines shops and restaurants.
