The schoolhouse was a wonderful place for us to stay. It’s private, quiet, & couldn’t have been any cuter. The completely fenced-in backyard was perfect for our two new little puppies. Betty was great to deal with and very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed the fresh eggs!!

Such a hidden gem! Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely consider coming back.

We had an amazing time and watching the baby lambs being born was an experience most people don’t get. 3 births in one day was more excitement than we could’ve asked for. My daughter cried when we left because she wanted to stay longer. Karen and George included us in everything and were knowledgeable and willing to answer the many questions my 7yo had. The house and property were as described and were wonderful for a quiet long weekend getaway. We look forward to coming back.

The cabin was perfect for our short stay. It had thoughtful touches, all the basic kitchen supplies needed to cook, a comfortable bed, and amazing views—what else can you ask for? If the nightly train noice might bother you, you may want to bring earplugs or close the window/door upstairs before you go to bed. (It was worth it for us for the fresh air!) The host very kindly offered us a late checkout since her cleaning service was going to be late getting there anyway. (We wouldn’t have thought to ask if that was even possible.) Thanks, Bekah!

The house was very clean, check in was easy, communication great, and a great new glarus location. It is only a 10 minute walk to downtown new glarus. The bed and couch were actually very comfortable. There are about 15 steps or so you have to go up to the apartment. It also isn’t very big, but was just right for what we needed. Great place for visiting new glarus.

This is an absolute ideal place to stay if you are hoping to experience historic Monroe. Perfect location on the square. The loft overlooks the square via beautiful windows; the space is open and clean, fully equipped with bedding, towels, etc. We have stayed here two years in a row for a siblings’ weekend, and can’t wait to come back! Host is responsive and accommodating.

Well-kept, serene, and charming. This place is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The Farmhouse, set in the rolling hills of the Wisconsin countryside, is spacious and inviting and guests can expect a quiet, comfortable stay with all the amenities of home. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Farmhouse.

We were in the area for a wedding. This was the perfect place for our family to all stay in one place. Plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed a walk along the fence line in the morning and loved the opportunity to purchase fresh eggs! Dan was very kind- his passion for the farm is evident. Would absolutely stay here again!

We’ll definitely stay there agin. It was a wonderful place to stay with a one year and triplet. It was so home feeling.
