Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Windsor and Maidenhead

Thyme Cottage is a little gem of a place. The pictures really don't do it justice - it is so cute. We stayed here as we had two nights at Nocturne Festival which was just 10 minutes away so super convenient for this. In terms of the house itself its one of the nicest Airbnb i have stayed in, every little detail so well thought through. it was a super hot day when we arrived but the cottage remained cool and Alison even changed the duvet to a lighter tog for us. It was squeaky clean, lovely little touches like super nice bath robes, 100 acres amenities, a beautiful little garden to sit in which we made plenty of use of , bed was super comfortable and parking was right outside. The interior design of the house was second to none, kitchen well stocked and one of the best showers i have encountered in an Airbnb. Alison is an amazing host, gave recommendations and answered as soon as we messaged. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to all prospective new guests. 10/10.

We found a real gem here - perfect for a group of 12 celebrating a 60th very spacious and beautifully appointed with great art work and fantastic kitchen dinner for all 12 people to enjoy the occasion together. All bedrooms large to huge and really comfortable. Henley easily accessible as were Windsor and Marlow. Jef one of the hosts is local and was very friendly and helpful so our big weekend event was a huge success. Thx to Jack and Jef for hosting us 👍😃🙏

From start to finish, this beautiful property exceeded every expectation. Phoebe was incredibly responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could need - from quality linens and toiletries to a well-equipped modern kitchen. The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a cut above the usual. We would absolutely return without any hesitation. This place really is wonderfully appointed, all the modern conveniences you could hope for: there are three different ways to make a cup of tea! It takes no time to walk from Winnersh train station, and there’s a large Sainsbury’s supermarket/grocery store just the other side of the tracks. You can fit many cars but you won’t need one. The recommended taxi companies from the house book were super professional, too. Richard and Sarah are extremely accommodating and excellent communicators. I would not hesitate to book their place again, though as my sister only plans on getting married once I doubt the need will arise.

Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

A great location and a high spec house, ideal for a few days away with our family (8 of us). Easy for the station which was important for us yet a peaceful side street. Nice outside area although it was so hot during our stay we remained largely indoors in the evening which was cool, light and airy.

What a wonderful home Trissie and her family have created! She has such an eye for detail and her pride in the house shines through. We have had an amazing stay, we have not wanted for anything - even the dog was looked after! Nothing short of fabulous and we will be coming again if Trissie will have us!

Great little place that felt modern and had great amenities. The garden is huge and the shower was lovely. Host communicated well and was very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely location for visiting our son who lives nearby. Excellent accommodation which made our weekend trip very enjoyable. The hosts were very attentive and helpful would definitely recommend and rebook in the future.

The place and surroundings are beautiful! Peaceful and full of wildlife. I loved watching the red kites and buzzards, through the skylights. Milan was an exceptional host, so friendly and interesting , we enjoyed our chats! We were having renovations in our own home and stayed for almost 10weeks! We had everything we needed and if we asked, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Milan!

Pros: best location! restaurants, pubs museums, history near + many tube stop so easy to get around. Spotless Fab apt with starters for coffee, snack, and kitted out kitchen. Amazing communication to ensure I was very comfortable. Highly recommend! Cons: not enough time 🎶

Had a fabulous stay at Ben's place. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The studio was well equipped with everything you could want and the extra touches like the fresh milk were much appreciated after a long journey. A beautiful area and we loved watching the red kites flying and swooping in the skies above. All in all a fantastic place. Thanks very much for such a great weekend!

We came and stayed for one night to acclimatise our hyper-sensitive dog to going away from home. Really lovely and peaceful for us all. Views of the farms were lovely and everything in the space is what we needed. Met the owners the next day and they were super.

It was our first Airbnb stay, we normally stay at hotels in the area and I must say, hands down, Debbie's little oasis in the Surrey Hills was infintely better than all of those experiences combined! What a treat! Debbie is a phenomenal host, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the little touches made all the difference. It was tranquil, comfortable, effortless and I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away from the city and explore Surrey. We would most definitely like to stay there again sometime. Thank you Debbie for a wonderful weekend.

We stayed here to visit friends before flying home to Australia. It is a short drive to Heathrow too. Lots of places to eat and drink in Maidenhead but our favourite is Boulters lock overlooking the Thames which is very close to the air bnb. Mikila place is beautiful and was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend. Hug

Frensham is a beautiful, idyllic mix of lovely countryside and village life. The accommodation put us in a perfect spot for amazing walks, river dip on the way back from the lovely HollyBush pub, and early morning lake swim (along side my dog). What an absolute treat. Saw greenfinches and nesting wrens while relaxing in the pretty garden. Thank you. We love where you live.

Couldn’t have asked for more; it’s a beautifully crafted space set in a completely private part of the property, with a charming interior giving you everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub and outside features were a brilliant addition. Alexia and James couldn’t have done more to accommodate and made us feel really welcome. There are enough shops and walking trails nearby for convenience, and James gave us some great local advice. We were offered fresh milk and baked bread which was such a lovely touch. 100% recommend, we hope to return some day :)

My daughter and I booked this as somewhere to spend precious quality time together away from it all and the location didn’t disappoint-it’s a little slice of tranquility set in the most beautiful surroundings. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and Richard was a brilliant host-from before our arrival in the morning when he asked if we needed anything beforehand, to giving clear instructions on how to find the place to then being on hand to show us round and give us some great local insight on places to go, eat and to see. We will definitely be back-it was just perfect-thank you

We had a lovely time staying at the pod, Richard and Kezia were both very kind, welcoming and helpful. Highlight of the stay was definitely Wilson their beautiful lab. Very pretty views right on your doorstep and very easy accessibility. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back at some point 😊

Christine's place is our solid go to. What a retreat! Our daughter lives in the craziness of Los Angeles and always finds the peace and beauty of this hideaway so restorative. It is perfect. Thank you so much for making her feel so welcome everytime she comes.

Great spot for a short getaway, not far from London or Guildford, yet feels incredibly secluded and like you are far further afield than you are. The site was comfortable and the features like the sauna and outdoor were a real treat. Frank was always keen to help, assisting with our bags and catering for extra demands like a late check-out. Look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed while we were in the area for a wedding. The place is lovely and quiet with a cafe on site :) Jonathan and Hollie are lovely hosts, really accommodating and friendly. We’d definitely stay again thanks so much!
