The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. The Travelers Retreat Casita has all you’ll need to feel spoiled, including a Cal king bed with super soft bedding for the best nights sleep. Cook your own meals in our stocked kitchenette and full size refrigerator. The living room has a sofa that converts to a queen bed with a 3 inch latex topper. Just 3 minutes from the 5 freeway sits this attached but private studio. Once through your private entrance you will feel at home. Comfortable queen bed, fireplace and fully stocked kitchenette with mini fridge/ freezer if you feel like cooking. There is also a 2 person table/ desk in front of the warm electric fireplace. The ceiling fan keep things cool. Full bathroom with shower and bathtub. Salt Creek beach,Dana Point Harbor and Trestles are just 15-20 minutes away. Great Location!

This gorgeous cozy home, comes fully furnished and decorated. It is very spacious; comes with a kitchen, living room, chimney, and great indoor lighting. Downstairs you will find a bedroom with 2 full beds.Upstairs there are two bedrooms; one with a queen sized bed and one with 2 twins beds .It also comes with two full bathrooms and a laundry room. Additionally, the park is very close by -within walking distance. This home is at a great location just off the freeway 15 and highway 74

Twin Oaks

Twin Oaks was built in 1921, it has been nicely remodeled along the way. The original flooring that came from wood milled locally is kept in most of the cabin. You get to be comfortable, and pretend to live like it is the roaring 1920's... in the mountains! This cabin can sleep 4 people: the master bedroom has a Cal king bed, and the sunroom has 2 twin beds... You can sleep an additional 2 in the loft queen bed. But this is only accessible for an additional fee ($25/night).
