The apartment was clean, big, and had everything we needed! The previous reviews are true that the kids and dogs from the unit above were loud at times. The noise didn’t last too long and it was never past 10 pm or before 8 am. They are people just living their lives in their home, so if you are staying here, you have to be understanding. The only issue would be if you are a light sleeper. The bed was comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were clean, and the AC worked great. Would stay again!

Looking for a relaxing weekend with the family with a ton of potential for memories that last a lifetime? Look no further than this hidden gem in De Soto. I've frequently traveled south craving "southern hospitality", little did I know, just a couple hours north had "Midwestern hospitality"! Justin was very responsive initially when asking about his property, very knowledgeable about surrounding activities as well as great watering holes if you catch my drift. The cabin is decorated perfectly and it immediately makes you take a deep breath and smile knowing that you are home. There is plenty of room for you and your family to stretch out, play games, go fishing off of your own private dock, walk to the Rivers Edge and grab a bite to eat (less than a 5 minute walk), etc. If you've got a boat, bring it!! Don't miss out on the local wineries at your stay either! rate 10/5! Can't wait to return!

Clean, newly updated, everything we needed available, easy to find, great communication and quick response from owner, everything worked perfectly, peaceful private location , and well priced, what more can you asked for. I’m already planning my next fishing trip and plan on staying here again.
