Beachfront vacation rentals in Westerland

We had a wonderful week at Rike and Erik's place. From the first moment we felt at home and were welcomed with open arms and hearts. The hosts supported us with all the questions, gave great tips and were always available for us. The house is simply wonderfully located, you have everything you need and we felt sooooo comfortable. We stayed in Harald's apartment over New Year's Eve 2024/2025. At the location, we thought it was great that the beach and everything for everyday needs can be reached quickly! At Harald's apartment, we noticed particularly positively that the kitchen is really very, very well equipped. Everything is available via dishwasher, microwave, dishes, cooking pots, pans, manual "equipment"! Even though Westerland (architecturally) is not our case, we can recommend the apartment.

A very comfortable place to spend some relaxing time. The place is just as described. Our pet spent a few days very relaxed and enjoying the apartment and the beach. You can literally walk to the beach in 5 minutes. There are markets and restaurants very close by. It is 13 minutes from the central train station. The hosts are always very friendly and attentive. 100% recommended 5 Stars

It is a very nice, bright duplex apartment in the middle of the dunes, right on the sea. Wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves in the evening and woke up in the morning with the sound!! Having two bathrooms was also awesome! We would love to come back!

Thanks for the beautiful stay! Liz's apartment is in the middle of Westerland, just a few meters down the road from the long dune beach and only a 15 minute walk from all the shops in the center. The apartment is clean, pretty and cozily furnished, so you feel right at home. Liz is very proactive in communication and has instructed me beforehand on how to check in and Co. I felt so comfortable that I would have liked to have extended directly; unfortunately, the apartment was already occupied afterwards (no wonder!). Would very happily come back. Thank you!

We had a great time Our children enjoyed the garden. We will come back for sure. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The location is great. You can reach everything by foot or by bike.

The apartment is a little gem on the far outskirts of Wyk, close to the island airport (you can see little sports planes and even a helicopter start from your bed)! It is located very close to a beautiful stretch of beach including a beach bar (Lipsi) and the typical Strandkörbe. While you definitely need a bike to get around to the town and most of the restaurants, cafes and shops, you‘ll be able to have some quiet nice days. The apartment is small (worked well for 2 people though) but very quiet, cosy and functional and has all amenities you need plus even has a tiny sliver of sea view. The bed was supremely comfortable! I‘d highly recommend Thomas‘s place for anyone seeking a few quiet days by the sea on Föhr.

The value for money is very consistent in this apartment. We particularly enjoyed the unobstructed great view of the heath through the large living room window. A big thank you for the very uncomplicated, fast and reliable communication with Vincent!

We travel to Sylt every year but that was by far the best stay. The location is simply a dream! Upon arrival, we felt super nice and we felt right at home. The next day we had another inquiry that was answered immediately. Just great! The apartment is just super nicely decorated and we lacked nothing. Thanks so much for this great stay! I had a lovely week in November in Michael's apartment (Haus Germania). The apartment is within walking distance very easy to reach, large, bright and very well equipped. Missing bedding and towels could be delivered after friendly communication with Michael. I previously sent the key by mail. Everything worked very well. The apartment is a bit noisy, but it was absolutely unproblematic in the low season. It was totally quiet. The apartment was very well warm with the electric heaters. I felt very comfortable. The only criticism would be the lack of blackout roller blind in the bedroom, the thin curtain there does not completely cover the window and the hotel opposite has state lighting on all night (I helped with blankets). This can certainly be easily changed. Otherwise everything is great :)

Great apartment with breathtaking views of the kilometer-long sandy beach. A real gem!

Although the property is on a busy street, the apartment is quiet. It is functional and tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Songül is friendly and was in person check-in. She was very helpful even with little things. We can highly recommend a stay.

Very close to the beach, with a long list of sights and amenities in the area. The garden is beautiful and the place is wonderfully quiet. We recommend the food at the Sydbar. Föhr still has many places who won't accept credit cards, so make sure you bring cash!

Except for two or three small things, which Stephan wants to change immediately, we were really very satisfied. Stephan and his family are very hospitable and we will be back!
