Ranch vacation rentals in West Indies

Our stay at the Ranch Villa was absolutely incredible. Panoramic views of Lake Arenal with a perfect view of Volcàn Arenal on the backside of the property. The description of the property is very accurate and you will need 4 x 4 to get to the Villa. The Villa is well-appointed with everything you need. Make sure you bring all the food you require for your stay if you don’t plan to leave. The Caretaker, Hilario, took us on a horseback ride and it was magnificent - stunning views all around. There is a small Soda about 4 km down the road called Kavi Bar - definitely stop in and grab lunch and ice cream. Super friendly and the food was delicious! If you’re feeling adventurous, there are several waterfalls you can check out (we went to Viento Fresco and loved it - especially Arco Iris 🌈 ). You are about a two-hour drive from Volcàn Arenal/La Fortuna and about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Monteverde. It is one of the best places we have stayed at in all our travels and we will be back!

We were 2 adults and 4 children (4, 6, 11, 13). We spent 9 days at Finca Manglar. We all loved this vacation and the length of stay was perfect. Luis was a perfect guide, always available and in upbeat spirits. We took most breakfasts and dinners. Delicious, local and healthy. We bought milk, bread, spreads, fruit/veg and snacks in a big supermarket on our way from San Jose to Palmar Norte. You can also get snacks and some food in a cute corner store about 2-3km away (we rode there on horses). I’m not going to repeat all the positives that the previous reviews said about this location. I wholeheartedly agree with them. Lia helped us get the transportation from SJ to the boat in Palmar Norte. Nice, easy scenic drive on the way there, just try to avoid Sunday afternoon travel back to San Jose because of the congested traffic.

A beautiful oasis here on earth. Magical retreat with nice outdoor kitchen, beautiful nature sounds, and a hot tub! Very close location to beautiful waterfalls. Clean, nicely maintained and well designed bathrooms with showers. Very nice living room with smart TV and open dining area. Pedro is a super host! Very responsive and carrying. We followed his recommendations to the close by waterfalls and had an absolute blast! The best closest market is Pueblos. We liked the vast organic selection of produce, snacks, etc. We will be back again! Thank you Pedro!

Great place! The pictures don't do it justice. Huge space and great people on property to help with literally EVERYTHING YOU NEED! Will definitely be back in a few months.

One of the best airbnbs we have stayed at! The location was gorgeous you have animals grazing near the property at all times as well as some chickens and cats that wonder around the area. The place looks just like the photos only thing is the hot tub and tub in the photos are no longer on the property but the pool itself is all you truly need it is great for a night time swim with the heater on! Having the grill and a full kitchen was amazing you can make anything you want! At night there are different colored lights all over the property which creates a very romantic feel! It was very private and intimate. Everything is setup with a romantic touch from wine on arrival to little details everywhere that make the space incredible for a getaway with your significant other. Michelle was very great at responding and solving any issue we had. The property is very rural but still has many things to do around it such as beaches and waterfalls(only 18 miles away)! The views are unbelievable!!

It's exactly like the photos, a spacious, private and beautiful place, my family and I were delighted with the place and look forward to coming back soon
