Vacation rentals with an accessible height toilet in West Indies

Karla’s house on the river is a beautiful oasis. We would recommend this spot to anyone. It is even more lovely than the photos. We enjoyed the outdoor space and playing in the river below. It is also a short walk to a super market and a great pizza restaurant. Not to mention a 10 minute drive from downtown La Fortuna. Karla was wonderful and helpful, we would highly recommend!

We had an absolute blast at this Airbnb. The host was so responsive and made everything as convenient as possible for us. As 2 girls traveling to Costa Rica for the first time, we felt extremely safe and well taken care of by Juan. He offered to drive us around for reasonable Uber prices, including picking us up from the airport 3 hours away as well as driving us to our next Airbnb in Tamarindo. Having him as our driver was great because he stopped at various points of interest along the way. He checked in on us regularly, ensuring we were having a good stay. He also provided several options for activities and restaurants. The Airbnb itself was amazing too, the hammocks were so relaxing to lay out on while listening to the birds chirp in the morning! It was just a 1 mile walk into town and a 5 minute walk from the fortuna river and salto rope swing, which was free to enter. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and cannot recommend it enough!

Location, location, location! Felt like home away from home, great value!

Rosa was a wonderfully responsive hostess. Even though we spoke different languages (us English, her Spanish) communication was easy with the translation app she had readily available. She was quick to pop over if there were issues (she and her family live behind the unit) and helped with any concerns. The unit was as shown in pictures and private (no shared living spaces- old reviews mention this but it is now fully separate from any other people living there, like a duplex). You have your own spot available to park in (parking area shared with Rosa and her family but easy to access your spot). Local area has lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and downtown Miami attractions only take 30-60 minutes to reach (depending on traffic- there’s almost always some level of traffic, but that’s to be expected). Local restaurant Cuba Lives is a nice buffet for a good price and nice touch of local culture/flavors. We enjoyed our stay at Rosa’s house.

Staying at the McAlister’s was the best part of the whole trip the family is so amazing and welcoming. Amazing view and close to all of the local things to do! They were very responsive and ready to help whenever we needed anything and it made it feel like home away from home. Will definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonia’s accommodation! The apartment was absolutely lovely-modern, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to make it feel like a home away from home. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with my friend. I’d definitely recommend having a car, as while the beach is only a 5-minute drive away, it’s about a 25-minute walk. The local shop was also a bit easier to access by car. That said, parking was super convenient, with a free space directly outside. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering an amazing gym just a 5-minute walk up the road, which we went to every day! It really added to our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay in the area. Thanks, Sonia!

Maria is very friendly and attentive, she is truly a boss! The place is clean and well located. We didn't get the WiFi and there was no option for the breakfast, but we still enjoyed the stay.

The grounds were very well kept. The beds were very comfortable. Access to the markets and restaurants was nice. The wifi worked well. Laundry soap would have been nice. The guards at the gate were very friendly and helpful.

Jesus and his wife, fantastic!! For context we ran the air conditioner each of the 5 days overnight for 10 - 12 hours, our cost was $11 Canadian per day. 4 restaurants that we considered really good and noteworthy, soles beach bar, you can sit on their beach so long as you eat and or drink, the food was wonderful and the portions a good size. The taproom, fun pub with pour your own beer (local DR beer), so that you could try a variety in small sizes. Cala gourmet pizza and coffee is literally right at the doorstep of the condo and makes fantastic pizza's at a very reasonable price. Lastly Kats corner, really good pub, fun atmosphere, good music. The one caution I will include about the area is that is is not walkable. You can get to the beach and restaurants but that's about it. The sidewalks are very narrow and sometimes not there. The roads are not an option as there is a lot of traffic, and pot holes.

The apartment was in pristine condition and quiet, just what I was looking for in Santo Domingo. I definitely recommend it.

We had such a wonderful stay in Miami. The apartment is exactly as pictured, with stunning views. We stayed for a few days with our one year old and Rod and Vanessa kindly provided a pack and play and high chair, both of which were extremely clean and comfortable for our little guy. I would highly recommend Rod and Vanessa’s place for anyone staying in Miami and hope to stay again some day!

Amazing Stay Again! This was my third time staying at Carmen’s place, and it was just as wonderful as always! The home is clean, cozy, and perfectly located. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again!
