Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in West Dorset District

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The place is in an amazing location, two minutes from the sea - you can see it from the bay window in the living room. Everywhere was lovely and clean and great value for money for the size - it’s huge! We loved the quirky layout too. For things to do, we loved the marine aquarium - it’s small but you get to hand feed the fish and hold starfish! The ammonite pavement on Monmouth beach is a must do too. The Lyme Regis museum is absolutely brilliant too. Both my kids loved it despite being very different ages (12 and 6).

A quaint and quirky place...and by that I mean cozy, comfortable, clean but with character too. It had everything we needed for preparing meals (when we didn't eat out at the local cafe and restaurants on the beach front, 10 minute walk away) with thoughtful touches such as home made bread, milk, fruit etc left for us. A lovely garden space to relax in and our own conversatory space too. Very friendly, kind and helpful hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back to explore some more of the lovely town, beach and beautiful nearby villages and coastal walks.

A very central well equipped apartment with two good sized bedrooms. Clean and tidy and with everything you need for a great stay. The bathroom and kitchen were very modern with lots of little thoughtful touches to make our stay easy and relaxed. Would definitely return if I stayed in Bath again

This apartment with wonderful breathtaking panoramic views, was delightful. The kitchen really well set up for simple home cooking. Would have preferred a larger main bed but having two others was very handy. Mattresses a little challenging. Single beds good for kids. Really great response from host to help in any way & look into new mattresses. Fab washer/dryer! Short walk to well basic stock shop. Steep but short walk back up the hill. Gorgeous cafe below Captains Cabin, overlooking the water at Anchor Head. Captains Cabin also a great place for a sunset drink or dinner. They make the best crispy bacon sandwiches for lunch too! Great access to Worlebury Woods & the Encampment for some amazing views & solid walk up the hills. I grew up in these Woods so i loved revisiting them & the whole of Weston. PS The water is very hard so bring clarifying shampoo & conditioner. I found a great one on line at Superdrug. Shop down the hill will take deliveries.

Jack’s Place provided exceptional accommodations in Bath and was conveniently situated within walking distance of the city’s attractions. The responsive host offered prompt assistance throughout our stay.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the apartment. It has amazing sea views. Lovely walks on the doorstep, and an excellent Co-op for supplies close by. Would definitely look to return in the future.

We had a very relaxing stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and beautifully fitted and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. We walked into town as it is a pleasant downhill walk and got a taxi back but we could of also got a bus. Communicative and friendly hosts who made us feel welcome.

Our stay was perfect and we absolutely loved the house, the location and all of the facilities and activities that we could do! Perfect for the whole family. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for everything.

Just got back from our holiday, the accommodation was spotless clean especially the bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed and very suitable for our dog. The village is truly beautiful and a lovely place to stay and my kids enjoyed the stay with great Wi-Fi.

Accommodation totally met our expectations. Loads of maps etc and local information. Fully enclosed garden which kept our dog safe. On the one wet day, resorted to the extensive DVD & book range. Very comfortable place just to chill and we are looking forward to our next visit.

The house was perfect for our small family! Also a great location and super clean, as described. Would definitely book again in the future.

Stayed here for a hen doo and it was perfect! Great location with a car park nearby, the house was clean, tidy, and had plenty of space with good-sized bedrooms. The host was really helpful before our stay, sending info about the area and house rules. Would definitely recommend! X

We had an amazing time in Kingswear at Sharon’s house. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and with spectacular views from the terrace. There are plenty of walking trails you can reach and at the same time it’s not as busy as the other side of the river. We loved it and hope to stay here again. Thanks Sharon!

Excellent host. Very responsive and well worth the price. I asked for an earlier checkin and they were more than happy to accommodate. There was scaffolding up around the building, but we were aware of this before and it didn't block the sea view. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. The flat was as described and well set up for a toddler. There were even toys to play with.

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

We stay at Steven's flat over a Bank Holiday weekend. The flat is about 10 minutes walk from the railway station and the route to the flat very straight forward. Steven had given excellent instructions for accessing the flat and the whole check-in process went smoothly. He even informed us we could check-in earlier if we wanted to. The flat was everything we could have wanted, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, extremely well equipped, and stylish. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom, and the kitchen with everything necessary. Tea, coffee and sugar were in containers but take milk with you if you'd like a cup of anything straight away. The flat is in a peaceful location just off a busy street filled with restaurants and places to drink, so not far to go for anything. The beach is about 10 minutes walk away, accessed by the zig-zag path, and we walked along the sea front to Bournemouth. Excellent communication with Steven at every stage and would definitely visit again.

Elwyn was helpful from the outset. Proactive communication and early check-in was a real plus to allow us to drop off bags. Apartment was super clean and has everything you could need. Lovely sunny patio. Only 5 minute walk from the station and 15 minutes to the harbour. Great place to stay and enjoy the town.

I had a great stay in Rebecca’s flat. It’s clean and tidy and well stocked with all you could need for short and longer stays and with some lovely, complimentary goodies. The flat has its own dedicated parking space and the location offers easy access to local shops, cafes and restaurants and is within good access to the beach. Rebecca was flexible in amending my stay duration which I appreciated, thank you.

Sonya is incredibly responsive with communication and flexible with our check in times. Her flat is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. It’s to a great standard. The immediate surroundings of the flat are a little questionable but in prime location to parks, restaurants, and the beach. It can feel hot inside the flat on summer days but the large floor to ceiling French doors onto the terrace and provided fan at the property offer sufficient cooling. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again. Sonya and her property have been great to our family (2 adults, 2 teens) while we are on our holidays!
