Monthly Rentals in West Devon District

This was our second trip to Nattor Farm, and this time we took our children along. We all had a wonderful stay at the cottage - you feel at home as soon as you walk in, and Susie has included lots of thoughtful and welcome touches (our boys especially loved the biscuits and apple juice!). Our 6yo said he would like to live there forever. Plenty of books, games and puzzles to while away the time, although we managed to get out for long walks every day. The weather was wet and windy (as to be expected from Dartmoor in February!) but it was lovely to come home to a warm and cosy cottage, where you can still enjoy incredible views of the moors. We love that there are beautiful walks in every direction, and the nearby leat and River Tavy are within easy reach for outdoor fun!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. The living space was fantastic and well designed. The welcome cream tea and flowers were a lovely touch. Paula was easy to contact and gave great instructions. The cottage is an easy walk to Okehampton, which has some great restaurants. Also a great spot to visit Dartmoor and beyond. The EV charging was an added bonus. We would recommend it as a place to stay and would happily visit again. The only thing to be aware of, is the drive is quite tight if you have a larger vehicle.

I had a lovely stay at Springfield cottage. Fantastic hosts, that perfect match of being friendly, helpful and close by. But leaving you to your holiday. The house is lovely. Really comfy, oodles of hot water, really comfy bed and a fully kitted out kitchen to cook delicious local food in. Chagford is beautiful, everyone says good morning to you and stops for a natter and the local shops are a treat. The walking is fantastic and all on the doorstop. If you need a supermarket then there is facilities at Okehampton which isn’t far. I’d recommend the fish man on Tuesdays, roast at the 3 crowns, the local butcher’s sausages are wonderful. Fish and chips at the globe. The cakes at the beehive are amazing and the art at the three hares gallery is lovely. Throughly wonderful rest from work and lots and lots of wild and remote walking around Chagford and North Dartmoor. Thanks for the stay. Will be back soon.

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.
