We loved our stay in Wells, the cottage was lovely, clean, tidy and a perfect location to walk to local attractions...

This was a very charming and generous sized property in a lovely setting. It would be perfect for a couple or a small family. The beds were great and the bedroom sizes exceptionally roomy and well set up. The kitchen/dining/living area was attractive and spacious and although the kitchen part was small everything was there with a good range of crockery and pans. A lovely breakfast pack included bread and jam, butter, cereal and milk and was a welcome addition. Arriving was well described in the details and the hosts were very helpful throughout.

A lovely, quiet place with every detail taken care of. The garden was very pretty and peaceful. We had everything we needed, with lovely little notes inviting us to help ourselves to breakfast, fruit and anything in the fridge. Lovely and clean, with very comfortable furniture and tasteful decor. Ideally situated close to the centre of Wells (5min drive, 25min walk to the cathedral), down a lovely quiet residential road (mainly bungalows). Lovely view of the golf course to the front. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Wow! What more can I say! This was such a delightful place and an absolute gem to find. Loved the decor, everything was so tastefully decorated and was absolutely right up our street; the cute private garden was one of our favourite spots. There's nothing negative to say, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Laura for hosting us, we would definitely stay here again and hopefully for a bit longer as it's such a good base for exploring whatever your taste might be. We were doing a nature trip this time round but hopefully next time we will get to see more of the fantastic coasts. ❤️

An excellent as-new house with room for 6 and within walkable distance of the Cathedral - well worth a visit. Plenty of games , a large TV, 3 bathroom/shower rooms and bedrooms. Parking for one car and easy to find more on road parking in a nearby street. Excellent value.

Harriet and her husband were exceptional hosts. Friendly and approachable, such lovely people. The accommodation was absolutely stunning and the surroundings so calm and peaceful. We were made to feel right at home. The quality of everything was absolute top end and we were so comfortable. The fresh bread and milk was a lovely touch on arrival. Nothing seemed too much. It was just so lovely and we will certainly be back. Thank you so much.

Absolutely loved our stay. House was such a good location for walking into town. Felt like we lived there! Beautiful house in amazing city, centred around the stunning cathedral. House was huge. Loved the quirky decor. Stunning kitchen diner. Sat in the garden in the sun, which smelt amazing from the natural planting. Couldn’t fault it. Had delicious meal at Root. Will hopefully come again!

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

Wonderful stay - we loved the place and the location! The bed was so comfortable as well! We will definitely be rebooking here in the future if we ever come back to Bath!

This flat was an absolute pleasure to stay in! It’s beautifully restored and decorated, and feels like a page out of a Jane Austen novel. The location can’t be beat and is in walking distance of all the top spots in Bath. We would certainly stay again!

Rics communication was excellent at all times. The location is ideal, being on a quiet street but just a casual 5 min stroll to the lovely Clifton shops and restaurants. If you like public transport the bus to central Bristol is 50m away..The home is beautifully furnished and everything worked fine. The bedroom at the back was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Louise’s place was lovely, as described. Perfect location for walking all over Bath. Easy 10 minute walk from train station. Beautiful, thoughtfully furnished apartment. Would absolutely stay again.

Great little flat, perfect for a few days spent exploring the West Country. Very easy to walk to the gorge as well as the nearby shops. Matthew was very responsive to answering all our questions or if we had any issues!

Fantastic stay at Carol and Richard’s beautiful studio flat. It was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. Little extras in the fridge were very much appreciated. Would wholehearted recommend. We will be looking to book again next time we head to Bath.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jane Austen’s former home—charming, quirky, and full of character. The apartment is beautifully restored with a perfect mix of historic detail and modern comfort. From flagstone floors and Georgian panelling to surround sound and a rainfall shower, every space is thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the light-filled kitchen overlooking a rose-filled courtyard and the cozy, art-filled living spaces. The location is ideal, right across from the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens, and Maxwell was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and attentive. Sitting at the wooden desk, it was easy to channel your inner Austen, finding inspiration here. A peaceful, welcoming home that made us feel both transported and completely at ease.

Great location, just over Pulteney Bridge so nice and quiet at nighttime but very easy to walk over to the main attractions during the day. Lots of great restaurants etc. very close by too. The apartment itself is impressive! The scale is larger than the photos, all very spaced out with lots of room. The design is great and everything was spotless. The kitchen had amenities to be able to cook at home. Great window coverings to allow complete blockout at night, however also allowed through flow of air during the day. As advertised, it is upstairs, so something to note. We were made aware there were renovation works on the apartment upstairs, however they were all conducted in normal construction hours and we barely heard any noise. Overall, peaceful and so enjoyable, we would stay here again and highly recommend it.

A hidden gem! We only had a quick overnight stay but it ticked all the boxes for us. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, an amazingly well equipped kitchen diner and such comfortable beds with pristine bedding. The property is in the middle of the town but with it's beautiful roof garden, it had an air of tranquility and we had no noise disturbance at all, even though it was a bank holiday weekend. Ruth provided detailed directions beforehand and a warm welcome on arrival and some helpful recommendations for somewhere to eat that evening. A great host - thank you for our stay.

This was genuinely one of the nicest Airbnb stays I have had. Sam was beyond helpful, the flat was beautiful and had absolutely everything I needed, they hadn't missed a thing. A true home away from home. Thank you.

The worst part about the BnB - We had to leave! Eloise was so incredibly helpful and couldn't help enough with queries and accommodating our request. The place itself was beautiful, had all we needed and is right in the heart of the town which made getting round so easy. We can't wait to come back again. The only little thing I'd note is the front door can be a bit tricky to lock/open from the inside because of the wall in the way as turn the key giving very little space (but that might have just been us being useless) - Very minor note though and didn't subtract from the experience at all! Although bijou, David & Vanessa's Annexe was perfect for our weekend stay. It is very clean, very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. Even milk & bottled water was supplied in the fridge. Highly recommended.
