Viscari is a small and enchanting village carved out of ancient caves that were used in ancient times for the seasonal migration of livestock. The dwelling place (home/villa), immersed in the nature with a breathtaking view, an ideal place to relax.
“This place is just wonderful. We came in October, when it is still possible to swim in the sea without suffering the crowds of tourists. We were practically alone in Visicari, surrounded by nature, flowers and silence. The accommodation Elena offers is unique in the world, especially because you can hear an owl during the night, the terrace offers breathtaking views, with its forests of rosemary and the many walks that can be made in walking just above the house. The dog Alma even turned out to be a friend whose company we enjoyed. It is certain that we will return in this enchanting place, we can recommend this space with your eyes closed. Lovers of happy sobriety, your happiness is here!”
A small house immersed in the colors of a beautiful citrus grove. It consists of a very spacious front porch, a bright and functional kitchen-living room, a full bathroom in all its parts with a large shower. The corridor is divided into a laundry / storage area. Finally, the bedroom is also very bright and welcoming overlooking the back garden where you can spend peaceful and quiet moments of relaxation.
“The place is great! In fact we liked it so much that we spontaneously extended our stay. The house is equipped with everything you need and the two verandas always provide a place to sit outside and enjoy a meal/drink in the shade (together with half a dozen cats). The location is perfect, close to San Vito and its Sandy beach, but far from its tourist hordes (I actually preferred the rocky beaches due to their nicer character). It's only a quick drive to the beautiful Zingaro and Monte Cofano nature parks (Cofano is currently closed due to rock falls, but you can still climb up to the peak, if you have a little stamina. If you want to do the upper trails in the Zingaro park, you can actually drive up a tiny steep street directly from Makari, and save the 5 Euro entrance fee and a few hundred altitude meters). Overall it can only highly recommend the place and would certainly come back in the future!”
Villa Rosaria consists of 3 totally independent apartments each with its own veranda and its own spaces and parking spaces and its own private. Marta Apartment 65 sqm. : which consists of the ground floor of the villa, with a large and comfortable kitchen living room, plus bathroom and double bedroom and with 2 beds in the living room kitchen, we have TV with 500 channels, unlimited WiFi Internet, there is the place cars in the garden nets and orthopedic mattresses.
“Secluded villa with a large terrace and stunning views of the coast. We had a rest with my husband and parents in early October (4 people), we were looking for housing in the country, with a minimum of neighbors nearby. The villa fully met our expectations (rented apartments on the second floor with a separate entrance). Of the advantages - your own territory with the ability to park a car, no need to worry about a rented car. Comfortable beds, clean, bathroom in excellent condition (only a little clogged drain in the sink). The house is not hot, despite the + 26 °, but we were provided with warm blankets in advance. The only thing that can be embarrassing in the location is the distance from the beach (the nearest free Guidaloca beach is 4 km away), nothing better was found closer. There is a descent to the sea from the village, but there are stones on the shore and a steep descent / rise, we could not swim there. There is also a paid beach for 7 € / person, but it’s also decent to go to it, which was difficult for parents, so we drove every day for 4 km by car. But if you came not only for a beach holiday, then the place to relax is great, especially for families looking for comfort, beauty and privacy. 54 km to the airport, 40-60 minutes in time, the road is good, most importantly, do not go along the coast, as we did on the first day out of ignorance. The hosts met us personally, although we were held back, and helped with all our questions on the first day of arrival.”
