Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Visayas

Hosts are extremely friendly! Location is about 50 meters off main road (White Island area) so your near everything but you don’t hear any noise (including chickens) which is great. Was looking for house with large open area since there were 6 of us it was spacious enough to not feel crowded! One bedroom can sleep 4 comfortably so that’s a plus! Owner also helped with transportation and has nice new motorbikes for rent. Owner has the nicest (and cleanest) dogs I’ve seen in the Philippines and they were a joy to see everyday. Bella the small Golden Retriever is sweet as can be! Kitchen has everything you’d want for cooking (except a microwave). Bathroom is large and clean (no hot water). Overall if you have 4 people or more and want some bonding (family time) Rocky’s Homestay is idea especially considering the location.

The place is really peaceful. Will book again next time we visit.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to MJ Square, restaurants, and Kota Beach. The caretaker was super friendly and responsive, making check-in a breeze. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, plus the water pressure was great. A couple of things to note: it would be helpful if the place was registered on Waze or Google Maps, as it was a bit tricky to find at first. The landmarks provided weren't very well-known to locals. Also, the bed sheets didn't fit well and came off easily, and the pillows were quite thin with only one provided per guest. Despite these minor issues, which I hope they'll fix, this place was perfect overall. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient stay!

Brian and his caretakers are incredibly friendly, approachable, and always easy to reach. They go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, making every interaction a pleasant experience.

It was a truly relaxing stay. The place is very nice. All things that you will need during your stay were provided without even asking for it. The host are very accommodating, they allowed us to check in early since we arrived earlier that the listed time. They even assisted us in securing transport for our country side tour. Will surely recommend to our family and friends who will visit Panglao island. Thanks Nenita and her sister Susan for hosting and assisting us.

June was great at communication. We were met at the airport and guided all the way to the apartment. A first class service. We changed our plans at the very last minute due to us being unable to go to the Camotes due to the weather and came to Boracay. June was tremendously helpful especially at such short notice. The host was absolutely amazing—extremely responsive and proactive, making sure everything went smoothly throughout my stay. I made a last-minute booking for my birthday, and the host went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Awesome house feel like home. The place is pin a private area make the place more safe. The host was really responsive and help is getting us what we needed. Definitely will bring my family back and stay here if I visit Cebu again in the future.

We had a nice stay. The place was easy to find and there's a lot of amenities to use and enjoy. Will definitely book again.

This place is amazing! Best place to stay and relax, with the private beach being just a few steps from the appartment. Or you can chill outside on the private terrace and still have a few of the sea. The appartment itself had everything we needed. A nice bedroom with a comfortable bed, a kitchen with a little oven and stove, a livingroom with a big sofa and a terrace with a big table and two beds to chill on (this is where we spent most of our time). There were also mosquito nets on every window. And there is no safety deposit box but there is also absolutely no need for it. The place is very safe and the house is never left alone! The owners Ruth and Wolfgang are veeerry welcoming and such friendly people. They organized a pickup from the port directly to their place! They also help us rent a motorbike and we even got a special price for it :) One evening some friends came over for a BBQ and we also go invited and were treated just like friends as well! We also fell in love with the two dogs that live there with Ruth and Wolfgang. They are very friendly. They even came swimming with us, which was so cute! Me and my boyfriend would DEFINITELY recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Paradise! We loved it here and would return for sure!

Amazing place and wonderful staff. Response was very prompt and clear. All the staff including the drivers were very kind and accommodating. The property also had so much activities to do we couldn't fit it all in one day. Would surely love to come back again another time!

A unique place with unique people. I recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy the peace and the beautiful beach with a coral reef. This place isn't very touristy and you'll be able to meet great locals. We stayed in this wonderful place for 79 nights and will always be happy to come back. I recommend staying at least 1 month because this place will beautifully clear your head. Host Simon likes to give advice, lends a motorcycle. Local fishermen will bring you fresh fish, calamari, octopus, shells, and shrimp every day. You can buy regular groceries at a local small shop. Grilled fish at sunset is a great experience. We were visited by a few of our friends who were excited during our stay. Simon's dogs accompanied us for walks on the beach ..

Our Executive James was fully satisfied with his experience staying at this property. It was better than the photos. You truly have to experience it firsthand, to fully appreciate it. The host Melody was very professional, caring, attentive, and helpful whenever help was needed. Their on-premises staff were also helpful with everyday tasks and chores when asked. However, at the same time, during the entire stay, they never bothered the guests unnecessarily and instead provided full privacy. They strike the perfect balance between being helpful and providing peace and quiet. Communicating with Melody and their staff was easy, fast, and precise.
