Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Verzasca

Claudio was an excellent host. He made every effort to make us feel at home during our stay. The view was incredible from the apartment. The bed was also comfortable. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was very functional. As others have noted, the Airbnb is up on the hillside approximately a five minute drive from Varenna. I think it would be best to reach the space by car. I also think it would be very physically taxing to walk down and back to town, although we did not try. We had no issues driving into town.

Carla’s place so so cute and cozy and had the best views. We felt right at home. She had super helpful instruction on check-in and listed several restaurants she recommended. We really liked Taverna Malanotte in Bellano. Also, the spa was great and was a highlight of our trip!

We are a family with two kids (age 11 and 14) and we had a wonderful stay at Petra's place. The apartment is very well located. Within 3-5 min by walk are top restaurants, an excellent bakery, a supermarket, as well as public transports. Yet the place is very quiet. The apartment is conveniently located for both hiking (there are even trailheads at a few hundreds meters) and river activities. The apartment was sparkling clean, we felt right at home. Petra and Andrea are nice hosts, providing lots of useful tips (food, activities) but respect your privacy. They live on the ground floor. Definitely recommended! We would come back without hesitation.

We stayed at Stefania's place for one night in May, 2025 Regrettably we were only able to spend 2 days in Locarno as we would have loved to stay much longer. We travel a lot and Stefania's place is one of the top suites we have ever stayed at. Everything is perfect 👌 The suite has a well stocked kitchen, squeaky clean bathroom and a fantastic covered patio for you to enjoy. You could easily stay there for a long time since all the action is within walking distance including the lake. We can highly recommend this place and we know you'll be glad you did. We absolutely loved this place. What more can I say that hasn’t been said? The view is outstanding. You’re very high up the mountain. One morning we there was low lying clouds above the lake … and we were looking down on it from above the clouds. Clean and contemporary design, with a comfortable bed. You’ll need a car! The garage is very tight, so rent a smaller car. And getting there from Varenna involves a drive up a narrow winding road. It was fun drive … for me, at least.

Wir haben unseren ersten Familienurlaub hier verbracht und hätten es nicht besser treffen können! Die Unterkunft war leicht zu finden, sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Besonders die Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Lago Maggiore sowie der tolle Pool haben uns begeistert. Nino war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Orselina hat unser Herz im Sturm erobert, und wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

High quality accommodation in a great location. Very peaceful and tranquil area. Bonus if you like dogs and cats as the owners pets are very friendly. Would recommend the accommodation without hesitation to other travellers

Beautiful house on the slopes. Amazing view from the house just like in the pictures. I thought the house looks much better than the pictures. Nicole was extremely kind but perhaps communication was a little affected by google translate but all is fixed since I had a Swiss friend. For ASEAN guests, please take note that the garbage bags are paid so usually they use 1 bag for the stay and please take note of the trash organisation instructions on the kitchen bar. - This has nothing to do the owner but a cultural difference good to note. The place is wonderful and the kids (Swiss and Asian) all loved the play area. Superb! Highly recommended.

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Tage in Olgas schönem Haus verbracht. Alles war noch schöner als beschrieben. Sie haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Alles wurde uns sehr ausführlich erklärt. Und während unseres Aufenthalts hat Olga uns jeden Tag geschrieben und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob wir etwas brauchen. Ihre Gastfreundschaft war wirklich hervorragend. Ich kann dieses Haus jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

Doris hat uns rechtzeitig und vollständig informiert und in der freundlichsten Art willkommen geheissen. Das Studio ist zuunterst in einem Haus am Hang mit einem privaten Eingang und einem sehr grossen, sehr gepflegten Garten, mit wundervoller Aussicht zum See und mehreren Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen. Das Auto kann 5 Meter vor der Tür parkiert werden, was im Tessin eine Seltenheit, aber ausserordentlich praktisch ist. Das Studio ist wie beschrieben klein, aber sehr modern, überaus gut und vollständig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Fenster sind 3fach verglast, was die Ruhe in der ruhigen Gegend noch unterstützt. Spazierwege ab Haus sind vorhanden, wenn auch gelegentlich etwas steil, die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten an den See oder in die Tessiner Täler sind fast unbegrenzt und gut erreichbar. Läden wie Lidl, Migros, etc. sind zu Fuss erreichbar, es geht halt einfach ab- bzw. aufwärts. Alles in allem ein Top-Studio bei einer sehr liebenswerten Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank, Doris.

Wir waren mit zwei Teenagern im Urlaub und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Sehr geräumige Unterkunft mit spektakulärem Ausblick. Es war alles vorhanden, was den Familienurlaub erleichtert. Ausflüge ins Umland sind wegen günstiger Lage sehr gut möglich. Trotz Regen super Zeit gehabt. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, eine wundervolle Woche in dieser Unterkunft zu verbringen und fühlten uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl. Serge erwies sich als ein herausragender Gastgeber, nicht nur überaus freundlich und sympathisch, sondern auch außerordentlich hilfsbereit und stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Gleich nach unserer Ankunft nahm sich Serge die Zeit für eine ausführliche Hausführung und gab uns wertvollen Insidertipps für die Umgebung. Seine Empfehlungen für Restaurants, in denen man gut speisen kann, sowie für interessante Aktivitäten und sehenswerte Ausflugsziele waren hilfreich. Die Aussicht von der Unterkunft war atemberaubend. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Whirlpool, der nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag genau der richtige Ort war, um zu entspannen.Wir sind uns sicher, dass dies nicht unser letzter Besuch bei Serge und in seiner traumhaften Unterkunft war. Wir können diesen Ort und Serge als Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Amazing apartment with the best view lugano has to offer! Raffaela was soo nice and even offered some snacks and a welcome drink :) the bus station is close but also has some parking space for a small fee in front of the apartment. definitely recommend staying there!

Our family of five had an amazing time in this beautiful apartment in the heart of Como. There were three adults, mom, dad, grandma, and two children, ages 10 and six. Apartment was very spacious and well appointed, beautifully furnished, with very comfortable beds. It was also, very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the apartment, as this was halfway through our vacation in Europe and we really needed it for the children’s clothes. The apartment is located just a couple of blocks from the lake, close to a Piazza, with a wonderful restaurants in the area. While staying here for three nights, we also did the very boat tour of Lake Como and highly recommend that you buy tickets ahead of time online for Singel ferry rides to individual towns, or a day pass, which must be purchased on site. Also be sure to take the Funicular to the top of the mountain. The view is the nominal. all in all this is an amazing Airbnb and we highly recommend it for families or groups of friends.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer traumhaft schönen Lage – ideal zum Entspannen. Andrea und Raffi waren sehr herzlich, herrlich unkompliziert und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, man merkt, dass hier viel Herz drinn steckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue est magnifique et l’environnement est propice au repos et à la déconnexion. Le jacuzzi et la piscine sont vraiment des plus qui permettent de passer un séjour inoubliable ! Attention, il est indispensable d’avoir une voiture ! Le logement est situé très haut dans les montagnes. Pas de commerce accessibles à pieds.

Lovely stay in Lugano! Quick walk to train station and 15 min walk to lake. Modern and updated apartment with stunning views from every room. Apartment had everything - from a washer/dryer to a well stocked kitchen - there was even a levoit fan. Fast WiFi too! While this is listed as a 1 bedroom, the living room has a door and sleeper couch for privacy as a 2nd bedroom if needed. The host Gea was lovely and so helpful. Thank you!

Our stay at Claudio’s apartment was absolutely perfect. Great location, just a short walk from the train station. The view from the windows is breathtaking, and the apartment itself is spotless, modern, and super well-equipped—nothing was missing. It’s so cozy and enjoyable, we often just wanted to stay in. All the appliances are up to date and very easy to use. Claudio was an amazing host—responsive, helpful, flexible, and always available. He explained everything clearly and even gave great local recommendations. We truly felt like we were in good hands from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone coming to Como. This place is a gem!
