Vacation rentals with beach access in Van Dyks Bay

We had a fantastic stay. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and exactly as described in the listing. It was not only comfortable but also incredibly stylish. Highly recommended.

Esther is a gracious host, very hospitable and helpful, and the apartment is very nicely situated, a short walk to the Cliff Path, beaches, and amenities. We felt comfortable and safe, and enjoyed all the conveniences, including a "braai" outside om the patio and a washing machine in the garage :-) Were we to return to Hermanus in the future, we would definitely like to stay there again!

as for me the location was perfect, just 5 min by car from delicious restaurant “Rock”. the place is modest, but clean and good to overnight. there was tiny kitchen, and heater in room. everything was good

We stayed for two nights with our kids and really enjoyed it. We were up and about early and only came back in the evenings after dinner, so a small place was perfect for us. Nice quiet neighbourhood and close to Grotto Beach. Would happily stay here again!

I know you read this many times in this platform but seriously: this is the best Airbnb you can find. It's just perfect for staying in Hermanus. We lived here for a week with our small kids and loooved it in every way

Aside from the obvious of the place being clean and close to the beach, beautiful surroundings etc, we felt right at home. It wasn’t one thing, it was about 100 other little things e.g. everything that we needed was here, e.g a warm water outside shower for when you get back from the beach. And other amazing stuff, like wood and fire starters to use, dishwashing liquid, paper towels. Seems small but makes a difference if you want to come out to relax. The attention to detail made it truly feel like a home away from home. We were a family of ten - kids, parents and grandparents and I highly recommend this house as the perfect family beach holiday experience. I’m looking forward to coming back again for a longer stay.

A lovely, spacious family holiday home. The open plan upstairs area was great to hang out and spend quality time together as a group, indoors and on the deck. Plenty of bedroom space for everyone. A great kitchen with all necessary items, and a fireplace. Proximity to the beach and the boardwalk for some outdoor time, couldn’t be better. Appreciated the flexible check out offered by Rita.

We loved the setup of the house. Open planned and made for quality family time. We appreciated the board games. Our almost 2-year old loved playing in the garden, picking flowers. The walk to the beach was perfect for us - a block or two, but not too long. It was a cooler weekend, and there were more than enough blankets as well as a gas heater. The house had everything we needed. Enclosed parking and a fire place would really take the home to the next level.

What a beautiful house and setting. The house was even better than the pictures and was basically on the beach so was wonderful to just walk out the little gate onto the beautiful Silversands beach. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again one day.

Gideon & Jayne helped me out when my in-laws were mis-treated at another place, they helped us out and the unit was available within an hour of the enquiry/booking. Was as per the descriptions and photos, neat and clean. Close to Dutchies and Grotto beach for lovely lunches and walks on the beach. Lyn & Peter thoroughly enjoyed there stay with you, thank you!

We really felt at home here. We came to Hermanus to relax a little and it was awesome. You can have a really nice walk down the cliff path and afterwards chill on the couch and watch a movie! Jeanne was really nice and welcoming! She answered every question we had.

This newly renovated space is modern, well furnished and has a great floor plan. The attention to detail is excellent and it has everything you could possibly need. A short walk to the beautiful beach and a 4 km drive to Hermanus. Tarryn is a friendly and helpful host. We loved our stay and will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lise-Marie’s place. The apartment was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-maintained. What really stood out were the thoughtful small touches and the variety of condiments and amenities provided—these really elevated the experience and made it feel like a home away from home. Lise-Marie clearly puts a lot of care into creating a welcoming and comfortable space.
