Great mountain cabin in Bergsdalen, a beautiful natural area between Bergen and Voss. The cabin lies in scenic surroundings and is a perfect starting point for great and famous hiking destinations in areas throughout the year. Among other things, you will find hiking destinations such as Kiellandbu, Gullhorgabu, Vending, Høgabu, Torfinnsheim and Breidablik. Modern cottage with all amenities. Parking approx. 100 meters from the cabin. Can drive to the cabin in summer. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, living room and loft living room, modern bathroom and kitchen. WI-FI, Terrace with outdoor furniture.

The cabin is located 450 meters above sea level. Close to nature, mountains and water. Here you can pick berries and mushrooms in the autumn, enjoy many nice trips, both in summer and winter. It is very family friendly and many animals you might greet! In summer, there are several nice swimming areas nearby. Cabin sleeps 10 people with 3 bedrooms, 4 double beds. It is quiet and peaceful, just a waterfall rushing in the distance. Bed linen can be ordered with an additional fee. The hot tub costs 750 NOK in addition, and must be booked in advance. Welcome!

Newly renovated, scenic, rural and peaceful

If you are looking for peace and quiet in scenic surroundings, this is the place! Fylkesvei 569 is 30m from the apartment, but you notice little to traffic. 20m below the road Bolstadstraumen runs in tune with the tide. Here, there may also be the opportunity to fish with a pole part of the year. Directly from the residence you will find a lot of hiking opportunities, both along the road and to the mountains. For the cultural enthusiast, there is a Straume Landscape Museum, which includes, among other things, the Stone Age home Skipshelleren.

Cozy cabin close to nature

Here you can have peace of mind and recharge. The cabin is peacefully located for itself, surrounded by forests and overlooking mountains. You really are one with the nature here. The cabin is located at about 350 meters above sea level, but there is a road all the way to the cabin. The cabin has a spacious and warm terrace under the roof. There you can enjoy late evenings and if it gets chilly, there is an infrared patio heater installed. Of the year (2024) I have built a wood fired sauna/sauna. Takes about 20 minutes to warm it up.

Cozy older house by the fjord.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Here you can play in the garden, enjoy a coffee cup right on the seafront, or have a great starting point for nice trips in the mountains and by the sea. 1 km to local grocery store. Playgrounds, ball bins and rental of kayak and SUP about 1 km from the house. Walking distance to marked hiking trails. Several local swimming areas in fresh water, sea and river. Short distance to the stone age village Skipshelleren. About 50 min to drive to Voss and 1h 20 min to Bergen city center.

Welcome to a charming cosy house at Øyane. The house is located next to a lake where you can go fishing ( permit needed )svimming, canoeing and kayaking or ice skating in the winter. The house is surrouded by mountains with perfect hiking trails. A famous trail is to "Vetlevarden at Storfjella", Vaksdal. The trip start just outside the frontdoor. At the end of the lake there is a 80 meter high waterfall "Hesjedalfossen" It take 20 minutes by car to the waterfall. We have a free canoe avilable.

Simple, small and basic, 23 m2. Enjoy nature in this tiny cabin on stilts in the fjord. In nice weather you lie in bed with the door open, lit candles on the terrace and look out on the water. Maybe a duck family swim by, a salmon jump or a train passes on the other side of the fjord. In rain you hear the soothing sounds of drops on the roof and the waves under you. You are in total privacy with a steep rock wall behind you and the sea in front of you. Breathe deeply and let go.

Great place in Voss -- we loved the mountain/lake view and the apartment had everything we needed. There was also free parking on both sides of the building

It was very beautiful, the view is incredible. It’s ideal if you’re on a road trip or passing through, The city of Bergen is 45 minutes away by car, it’s still worth it for the views. The hosts are very friendly, they have clear instructions. They have space to park the car. I would highly recommend it. 10/10

Nice old house in beautiful surroundings. There is not much right there (no shops or restaurants) so you should have your own vehicle or have everything you need with you. We had a bit too much luggage for the walk from the train station (over a little hill and across a bridge), so Hroar helpfully drove our luggage back their on our way out.

A sleeping area features two spacious beds adorned with black and white patterned bedding. Decorative pillows complement the design. Soft lighting is provided by two fixtures attached to a dark accent wall, while a framed landscape painting adds a touch of character to the room.

Staying in Tyssebotnen in little family farmhouse full of history made our dreams come true. This cozy home surrounded by an incredible yard full of berries which leads to a private dock is just amazing. If you like being in pure nature in an authentic Norwegian home with just a touch of modern Scandinavian interior design we highly recommend this place. Askild and Kristoffer are very pleasant and always helpful owners.

Holiday house between the mountains and the mountains

Susanne's place is beautiful, located in a wonderful, peaceful and quiet area, directly by the fjord. The house is fantastic and spacious and we felt right at home. The surroundings are wonderful, great hikes and splendid nature. We hiked to Middagshaugen (the hike trail starts really close to the house), visited Skjerhalden (just few minutes down the road by car) visited Bergen, did a Fjord cruise on Hardangerfjord and spent the rest of the time reading and cooking. We would recommend a car, as this makes getting around easy. Absolutely wonderful stay, would definitely come back.

Such a beautiful location- so calm and restful. The house is lovely with everything we needed. There was so much space inside and out. The beds were comfy, the house was spotlessly clean and the view was absolutely amazing. We would love to visit again for sure.
