During the winter months you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky . The ferry goes over the fjord, and to Solund.(free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, not shop in Rutledal. Welcome.

New cabin in the mountains with great views. Stordalen can be found in Vestland county about 1.5 hours north of Bergen and 40 min south of Oppedal. The road up to the cabin field is a bit steep. Stordalen is the gateway to Stølsheimen and has many great hiking opportunities. Peak trips up to 1000 meters nearby. All year round road from E39 Matre Stordalen ski center and prepared ski trails. Unique location between Førde and Bergen makes it easily accessible. Maybe the perfect meeting place for the family?

Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.
