Kelly was easy to work with, had great communication, was very accommodating, and the cottages were so cozy & quaint! The biggest plus was getting the opportunity to use that amazing pontoon boat and getting out on the lake. We would definitely stay at this lake again! What a fun area. Having such a fun time we started looking at Kelly’s other properties for future getaways!

My friends and I went for a “game retreat” weekend and it was perfect! We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards since you can get on the water without getting wet (since it was a little cold). There was also such a cute note welcoming us along with fresh flowers and fresh eggs! Really appreciated the personalized touch.

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Literally everything about this place was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the property longer. The backyard is the lake, absolutely gorgeous views 😍 From the decor to the amenities, no detail was forgotten. Very impressed with the quality of materials, finishes, and furnishings in this home. The kitchen is a dream, bedrooms are beautifully done, delightful bedding, awesome game room/bar space, and outdoor setup has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and fire pit were crowd favorites. Extra special thank you to our wonderful hosts for the top tier welcome basket and for being so helpful and responsive. Your place helped create a truly magical weekend.

Charming, romantic, rustic, peaceful. Cannot overstate how lovely our stay was. The cottage is just as described and provided everything we needed to have the weekend away that we wanted. Highly recommend getting out in the early morning to go deer spotting! We walked the entirety of the trails and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely staying here again!

This was such a beautiful and relaxing weekend getaway for my friend and I and our pups. The cottage was so cozy, more spacious than expected, and very well maintained. Frank was great at communicating the house rules and everything was laid out clearly. It was clearly off-season for Lakeside because the area was very quiet which was a big bonus for us. We enjoyed some long walks with the dogs and took them to the beach in the evenings to see the sun go down. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and working on the puzzle at the cottage. Our group of five women throughly enjoyed our stay at Ashley and Bobby’s cottage. It was cozy and inviting with well appointed fixtures and comfortable furniture. We all slept well, and enjoyed lounging in the living room or the thoughtfully placed Adirondack chairs on the front porch. While booking, we were looking for a place to relax and recharge and Ashley and Bobby’s place definitely delivered. It’s incredibly close to a public access beach, where we enjoyed a spring sunset. We were able to take in the full moon in the very clean hot tub in the spacious backyard and round out our evening with a fire. When we had a question , Ashley and Bobby were both incredibly responsive and attentive, even suggesting a couple of things for us to do around town. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing get away that is still close to town, this is the place to rent. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place, exactly as advertised. We loved the hot tub and all the fun stuff to do nearby.

The house was as described and pictured. We had a wonderful weekend. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights. Towels for the hot tub were provided. The house had everything we needed. Close to several great beaches and hiking areas! Comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean.

My stay with kate was perfect. The space was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The hot tub and yard were great additions to our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. I recommend this spot for all, perfect for a girls trip or a family getaway. Plus, the hosts were incredibly accommodating!!

Great place to stay and the local area was absolutely gorgeous! We definitely appreciated how the host provided a binder full of local restaurants, instruction manuals, and places to visit! Not to mention, heated bathroom flooring was life changing! Thank you again ♥️

My fiancé and I visited Donna’s place over a summer weekend, and we had the most amazing time. Donna’s house is so beautiful and welcoming - we felt at home. Her place was clean and is filled with the most thoughtful decor. It has everything anyone needs for a peaceful, relaxing stay. She was responsive right from the day of booking to our final day and even stopped by to meet us in person. We look forward to staying at her house again soon!

We loved staying in this adorable lake house in New Buffalo! It's a perfect location and is within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach! This house was ideal for a large group and housed 10 adults and 3 children comfortably. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're planning on coming to New Buffalo!

On our way home I said to my wife that this place is what you always _hope_ an Airbnb is gonna be like but almost never is. Robert was friendly without being overbearing and even recommended and excellent local restaurant. The farm setting was lovely, and the llamas and dogs were great company. The location is perfect, there's lots to see just minutes away. We will definitely be back and we're recommending the place to our friends and family as well!

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed as a family of four and our dog. The house is very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Our kids loved all the board games, and the backyard was fun for the kids and the dog, too. The living room is spacious and makes you feel right at home. This was our third Airbnb in New Buffalo, and it’s definitely our favorite! Colton and Abbey have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure the house has everything you need. They are responsive and friendly hosts. We would stay here again!

I have been renting Airbnb for years and hands down John’s house was the best house I have ever stayed at. The beds were incredible ( please tell me where you got your pillows and bedding). There was lovely screened porch and great room. Every amenity was available. It was a very special weekend and we had a front row view of many deer in the area. Thank you for being such a great host. We will be back !

What a beautiful location! Loved all the trees, beautiful yard to play games, super big fire pit, deck and grill was spotless! The inside was nice and spacious for the size. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The basement was large! We had an incredible time. Would come back for a longer vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation here! We were looking for time to relax and just be together. We loved playing games around the big table and relaxing by the fireplace. We also love the area and our close proximity to walking trails, the beach, and coffeeshops.

Yes and yes!! We loved our stay at Anna’s place. From the treehouse to the glass windows to the ease of use - this was a great spot for our family of 5 Fall getaway. My 7 year old just kept saying Can it get any better?! We loved it..:.Thank you!

We were extremely happy with the AirBnB. Nick and Michael were very proactive with reaching out and had a binder at the place with recommendations and check out instructions. If we come back to New Buffalo with 4 people we would look at booking this place again. It was a great experience.

The house was perfrct for us and our dog. The binder our host left was full of great recommendations and useful instructions. The location itself is in a convenient area. Walking distance to good restaurants and shops, and short drives to wineries and the lake. The yard is huge and our dog lived running around. We appreciated the fully fenced area for her. We'd love to be back in the summer months. The only thing I would've preferred is an earlier check in.
