“Joanne and Rob's place was the perfect cozy retreat after a long day of driving. I was a little anxious getting there in the late afternoon that we would have trouble finding the place, but the directions provided were spot on and check in was a breeze. We arrived just in time to enjoy a spectacular sunset. There was a market located nearby and having use of all the kitchen amenities was super convenient. It was about a 20 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. Joanne and Rob were very responsive and quick to answer all of our questions. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer.”
"Bybee's Nest 2", a basement apartment of our home, can be your "home-away-from- home" as you experience the majesty and beauty of Bryce Canyon National Park and other nearby wonders. It's located at the base of Bryce Canyon in the small town of Tropic, Utah just off Scenic Byway 12. The apartment has a designated parking area, a private covered outside entrance, and it's own patio with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy small town America and the surrounding views.
“ByBee’s is a cute and cosy little basement apartment in the tiny town of Tropic, nearby beautiful Bryce Canyon. We didn’t have a chance to meet Kristeen and her husband, but co-cost Paul welcomed us just after we arrived and gave us some useful tips on the local area. The apartment is immaculately clean, newly fitted out and stylish, everything you need and lots of thoughtful touches besides. The kitchen had coffee-maker, a large fridge and a microwave, but there was no need to cook, as there were quite a few dining options just in the local area (we’ll have to try the nearby fine-dining Stone Hearth Grill next time, the menu looked amazing!) We were really very comfortable there, after a couple of days on the road and only wished coud have stayed longer. Hope to visit again in the not-too-distance future!”
Located in Tropic, Utah 3 blocks off of hwy 12 and 8 miles from Bryce Canyon, Utah is Kate's Place. The population is around 600 and is a beautiful area complete with horses, moo cows, sheep and beautiful green fields and golden mountains ready for exploring. I live on the premises (not with you) which is convenient for you if you need anything. Access to two bedrooms, sitting room (with TV- W-fi) and bathroom, NO FULL KITCHEN BUT SNACK AREA WITH SNACKS, COFFEE, TEA, WATER.
“Katie's place is as described. The location in Tropic is convenient to Bryce, Kodachrome, and Grand Staircase / Escalante. Pluses include Katie's thoughtful hospitality, a great location, and a friendly, affectionate dog named Wilson. Minuses: Do note that the place does not have a full kitchen, but does have a nook with a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, etc, which Katie keeps well stocked with snacks and goodies. In spite of my phone having gone out of order and Katie having had to travel to see her doctor the day before I arrived, she went out of her way to make sure that airBnB and her neighbor were in touch with me with check-in information.”
