We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful location. Appreciated that the master bedroom was downstairs, while the kids were upstairs. Lake is huge, and is super quiet, only saw 1 boat on the water while we were there. Nice fire pit with wood included. Hot tub was a a big hit. Would definitely rent again :)

Beautiful secluded location for my partner and I! Jen was very clear with instructions and made checking in and out very hassle-free! We had such a lovely week and having this space really enhanced our little vacation. Although the location itself may not have a lot to do, it is perfectly nestled between Belfast and Camden, two cute towns on the water. Acadia National Park was about 1.45 hours away but the drive is well worth it, especially being able to come home to a hot tub. 10/10 recommend this property, and thank you Jen for sharing your space with us!!

We stayed at the Bambi Inn on Art Farm and loved everything about it! The space is thoughtfully designed with cheerful custom art and decor. The hosts designed a custom manual/booklet that blows the typical air bnb binder out of the water. The home was well equipped with everything you might need from extra blankets & towels, to kitchen and bathroom needs, first aid supplies, sunscreen, bugspray, and more. It’s impossible not to smile when arriving at the Bambi Inn. The hosts provide bicycles to use for the short ride to beautiful Lamoine Beach. We were able to get to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other neighboring towns with ease. I’d highly recommend booking here!

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

This was our second time staying here. We love the beautiful and peaceful setting. Lots to do in the surrounding areas but also we love relaxing at the house by just sitting on the dock with a good book or kayaking/fishing in Hobbs Pond.

My mother and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend and a nearby wedding. As lifelong Mainers, we were looking for a rustic camp on the water with a screened porch, and this place delivered. We spent our time reading, napping, walking, and even doing a little work (the internet was surprisingly fast). It was so nice that we could include our small dog with us as well. While the camp has a rustic charm, it’s thoughtfully outfitted with modern comforts: comfy beds, quality linens, a smart TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided extras most don’t—like paper goods, baggies, matches, and toiletries—and were nearby if anything was needed. They even included shower essentials if you happened to forget any. The sunrise was spectacular from the front porch. Loons swam by daily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have extended it---we would definitely book again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

We had a lovely stay here. The tiny house is well designed and great for a couple. It’s exactly as in the photos. The house has very cute details and furnishings. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We traveled with our Labrador and she loved every minute of the stay. The property is beautiful, right on the water. We loved splashing around in the pond. We didn’t have time to take out the kayaks but there were several and they looked to be in great condition. Our favourite was the grill and the fire pit outside, where we spent a lot of time! I wish we had stayed longer! : )

Our family enjoyed our second trip to Bar Harbor. Our stay at Diana’s cottage was perfect. The location was close enough to town and easy to get around the island. 10-20 minutes to most anywhere we wanted to go. The home was clean and the hosts on property were the best! The master bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The first part of our stay was chilly and it was so lovely having the fireplace in the living room and then A/C once it warmed up later in the week. We are already looking at dates for our next trip!

This was a truly magical stay! Peaceful, private, comfortable… The most well thought out and welcoming off-grid lodging I’ve ever stayed in! The cabin itself is spectacular and the surrounding garden and forest are just enchanted. Rod was an incredible host, responsive and so accommodating when I needed to shift my reservation. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don’t even hesitate on this one!

A remarkable family cabin with many personal family memories and items still in place there. As reserved Scots, we initially felt a little unsure if everything in the space was available for our use or not. However once we had met Serena, it was clear how open the welcome was. We found it very comfortable and peaceful and loved using the deck and boathouse. We appreciated the care Serena took over environmental aspects such as recycling and ethical products in the bathroom. We enjoyed the company of the bird life - phoebe, loons, bald eagle!. It is worth noting that there is very little mobile phone coverage in the whole area around Sedgewick and Blue Hill so the WiFi is much appreciated. Our stay in Ledge Lodge was part of a long awaited trip to Maine and certainly was a highlight of our holiday.

Brian’s place was perfect! My fiance and I stayed here with our golden retriever and we all felt right at home. Its exactly as described and looks exactly like the photos. Its the perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking and/or shopping. It was a 15 min drive from bar harbor and about 20-25 min from acadia national park. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This Inn is fantastic located near a lot of options. Butch is a wonderful person. We immensely enjoyed are stay. Everyone was fantastic and friendly. Will be back.

Had a great stay in southwest harbor! We followed all of Anne’s recommendations and had a fabulous time in this cute house! Everything was exactly as described and was tidy and organized.

Family of 4 from SWFL and we had the best time in the Bar Harbor area. We felt right at home at this cozy cottage and it was the perfect size for us. Great location, the amenities were perfect - we would love to come back and explore more! Our thanks to Sara and family for our stay! Highly recommended!

The cottage is charming and comfortable, with a lovely, well-thought-out design. The host was thoughtful and very responsive. I really appreciated the rustic style and high-quality touches throughout. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We loved the cabin, beautiful on a quiet road. It was very clean and spacious. Naomi and Hank were thoughtful to make the cabin welcoming, from every available kitchen gadget to hiking guides to suggestions for places to visit other than Acadia. Even a yoga mat! We drove so it was easy to bring what we needed but if you are arriving by plane, there are coolers, water bottles, umbrellas, beach chairs, everything you might need for any season. We can’t wait to return to MDI and the cabin.

We absolutely loved the cabin. Every day I would do my morning meditation on the porch and sit out there for a good hour listening and smelling the beautiful air. There's so much to do in the area. It was a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.

We had such an amazing stay at the Little G! The cottage was absolutely perfect: squeaky clean, peaceful, cozy/comfy, and had ALL the essentials. Terri & Tim truly thought of everything! Each time we opened another drawer or cabinet, we were surprised to find things we didn't even know we needed! We really enjoyed the tub for two and even the refreshing outdoor shower. Though it stayed in the 40s & 50s for our stay (brrrr), the shower was plenty hot! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. The outdoor shower is absolutely incredible; so well crafted! If you’re looking at the listing and hesitant to book due to the toilet situation - don’t be! It was cleaner than quite a few other places we’ve stated that had “real” bathrooms. The cabin itself had everything we needed and more (comfortable bed, extra blankets, anything you’d need to cook simple meals, etc.). Everything was very clean and the rules & checkout instructions were very clear, which was great because that is definitely not always the case when you book a place. Bethany is a gracious and responsive host and the area is incredible. If you’re looking for a place in this area, I highly recommend staying here if it’s available for your dates!

We had such an incredible time staying ay Jennifers. The cabin was so cozy, its truly is a Maine family summer cabin, you can feel all fun and good times that have been had there. It was perfectly accommodating given its rustic feel. The beach and surrounding woods are gorgeous and peaceful. We swam off the rocks every day and loved taking the paths between the cabins. And it is a perfect location between Blue Hill and Stonington, with the little enclave of Deer Isle down the road. But if we weren't so keen on exploring the Island, we would've never left the property. Truly a gem, we hope to be back!
