Barefoot Bungalow Cabin

This tiny home is as cute inside as the pictures outside. We really enjoyed the outside space for relaxing and dining. Shane and Carla had set up the fire pit for us to use but we ran out of time . We had a great experience for our first visit to Lake Tenkiller.

We had a great stay here. The home has everything you need. Across the street is a nice country restaurant and next door a well stocked convenient store. The home was very clean and well furnished. Beds are very comfortable. The decor is very warm and inviting. It has everything you need for your stay. Check out was easy as well and Edna communicated great before, during, and after our arrival. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit friends.

Our stay was amazing!! The host allowed us to extend our stay, answered all the questions we had, and was very friendly! The location was beautiful! A nice walk to the lake and the perfect spot to explore nature and experience peace and quiet. A nice escape from the hustle of city life!! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone! We loved the cabin! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. Cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Close to lake Tenkiller and this was perfect for us since we were fishing a tournament. Janell was so helpful and answered quickly and checked on us. Would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Great cit, spacious cabin and an amazing community. Host was extremely quick to respond to each of my questions! The area is somewhat tucked away behind the dam with a great variety of ponds and short trails to hike. The home was stocked with games, good wifi and plenty of TV options, that my group of 7 enjoyed. The pictures don’t do this place justice. If you’re needing a place to stay in the area look no further than the Vaughans spot! P.S. if you’re booking for the weekend check out big daddys for some AMAZING catfish!

Nice place, very quiet. We enjoyed the watching the hummingbirds off the deck. Close enough to area activities, although it took a bit longer than expected to travel the 3 miles into the cabin due to the condition of the road, (lots of twists and turns). If you are looking for a quiet off the beaten path stay then this is the perfect place.

Gabriella’s place was a great overnight stay! Very clean and quaint. We loved the comfy couch and bed. We enjoyed the smart TV as well as the little snacks and water bottles Gabriella provided! The fenced in yard is a great plus for our dog. Just a heads up, it is in front of a railroad so you will hear the train pass by! It didn’t bother us much though! If you need anything to buy, Family Dollar is conveniently just a couple minutes away. We had a couple local places nearby such as Boujee Brew and Gambino’s pizza and we recommend both of them as well as Gabriella’s place!

The place was perfect for us to relax. We saw deer right out the windows. The kitchen has most everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the decorations and layout. Jim was very friendly and communicated promptly.

We had the best weekend staying at the cabin for our trip down the illinois River. This cabin was so comfortable and mire than we ever anticipated. We will be staying here again.

My stay at Classroom 6 was exactly what I was hoping for, Comfortable, peaceful and so relaxing! The home was just as described and was spotless. The hot tub was an excellent way to spend my evening. Candace was available and quick to respond with any questions I had. Looking forward to another stay soon!

The house itself is stunning. When you throw in the amazing location and view on Lake Tenkiller, it makes it almost beyond comprehension. The separate pods make it feel like everyone has their own space while the beautiful kitchen and living area allow everyone to be together and enjoy dinners and games as well. Our family enjoyed both the house and the view for our stay.

We were in town for a Junior Bassmaster tournament and this house was less than 10 min from the Chicken Creek boat ramp- could not have found a better place to stay! Loved sitting out on the back deck enjoying the sunshine and lake view. Lori was very responsive with questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be staying here again if we find ourselves in Cookson again!
