  • Goats & Alpaca-From Pasture to Product
NOTE: WE ARE COVID COMPLIANT. Your experience begins with a tour of our farm. You'll get up close and personal with our 2 Livestock Guardian Dogs who will greet you upon your arrival. Then it's into the pastures to meet and feed treats to our people-friendly Nubian goats, alpacas, heritage-breed turkeys, and trained mini pigs. After the farm tour, guests will observe a goat-milk soap making demonstration. Then we'll wet felt our soap with our alpaca fiber and Merino sheep wool, and then needle felt the soap to personalize it. Other things to note Please wear farm-appropriate attire. Closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty are a must! Sunscreen is recommended. Note: Since this experience is held entirely outdoors, it is subject to cancellation during winter months due to inclement weather.

  • Intro Paso Robles E-Bike Wine Tour
The Paso Robles Wine Tour by Electric consists of hitting the storied streets of Paso Robles to learn about our colorful history then heading into wine country. The Tour portion is about 1.5 hours after which you are on your own to explore till 5 PM on our electric bikes. Disconnect while you learn about famous composers, outlaws, movies stars as well as rogue wine makers that made this central coast town what it is today. We kick things off by heading deep into the heart of Paso to learn where it all started. Leaving the park, we head back in time as we explore the historic inn and the victorian district. Along the way we will learn what it is to be a local from the public local art to the best places to eat. From there we embark out into wine country. The tour itself lasts 1.5 hour followed by you taking the electric bikes for the rest of the day to tour wine country on your own. Wine Tastings are not included in the price.

  • Sea Foraging San Luis Obispo County
CURRENTLY WE ARE IN LONELY PLANET TOP 6 FORAGING DESTINATIONS IN THE US, and featured in the LA Times, SF Gate, Sunset, and Eating Well. All along the pristine coast of Central California, many species of delicious edible seaweeds exist. Kelp is some of the most tasty and nutritious of wild superfoods! I will meet participants and take them to seldom visited local spots and teach them basic phycology (marine algae science) and sustainable harvesting techniques. Not only will participants partake in a unique experience surrounded by breathtaking scenery, but they will leave with the knowledge of how to sustainably harvest nutritious seaweed for themselves for years to come. We make an amazing seaweed Ramen in the traditional Japanese form at the end. Other things to note I WILL SEND YOU EXACT LOCATION AFTER BOOKING > We will be harvesting edible seaweed. Unlike land foraging, there are no toxic seaweeds to worry about. We will show you how to tide pool with minimal impact upon the marine environment. If you book a private tour, please list the actual number of people that will be attending. Thank you!

  • Happy Hour History Tour of Paso Robles
Sunny Paso Robles has distinguished itself as a top-shelf wine destination but did you know we have a pretty amazing history? Spend happy hour with us learning about how this town got started from the first prime minister of Poland to John Wayne. We will start off in the heart of our beautiful tree studded park. From there we will dart down the alley ways and victorian lanes of the past. Along the way you will hear what it means to be a Paso Roblan and what the future may hold. Other things to note Always check the weather, Paso is pretty temperate but make sure you dress accordingly. If you do not drink alcohol a none-alcoholic drink will be provided at the end of the tour :)

  • Wings and Wine. A Falconry Experience
We will take a hawk for a walk thru a local vineyard. Our trained hawk will fly from your gloved hand to fly free over the vineyard and come back to you again. We will spend at least an hour interacting with the birds. You will meet a falcon, “Jack” the eagle owl (who you will fall in love with) and a Harris hawk that we will free fly in the vineyard. Afterwards we will go wine tasting the wine from the vineyard you were in. The winemaker “Larry” is a fun person to talk to as he will explain how he makes his wine and help you to enjoy his naturally grown grapes that make his wine unique. Other things to note This is an outdoor experience so dress appropriately. Rain or extreme winds will cause cancellations.
