How do I know if my listing is appearing in search results?
The easiest way to confirm that your listing is appearing in search results is to search for it yourself, using terms that match your listing description and calendar availability. Keep in mind it can take up to 12 hours for new listings to appear in search results and up to one hour for changes to an existing listing's visibility to take effect.
In order for your listing to be seen in search results, it needs to be set to Listed. If you want it to appear in searches for long-term reservations for 28 nights or more, you also need to set a monthly price.
To update the visibility of your listing:
- Click your name at the top of airbnb.com
- Select Your Listings
- Next to the listing you want to update, use the drop-down menu to select Listed or Unlisted
If your listing is set to Unlisted, it will not appear in any search results.
In some cases, your listing may not appear in a particular search but will appear in others. That's because we may customize search results to match travelers with the listings that are right for them.
