Welcome to Trekker in Lake George, New York at the base of the Adirondack Park.
When staying at our unique resort you will not only experience and see many different types of rentals like treehouses, yurts, earth homes, and cabins but you can explore our wildflower fields, play with our goats and chickens, and observe our honeybee hives. While the seasons and nature provide, take home some honey from our hives, eggs from our coops and fresh maple syrup from ours and other local farms.
The space
Step back in time to this 1950’s classic, authentically rustic, Adirondack cabin. Remember those thin walled wood cabins from summer camp? This is it, but much more charming. The scent of seasoned knotty pine fills the cabin. The wind blowing against the single pane glass. You will truly be immersed in nature with this one. Anyone afraid of an ant, squirrel, maybe a mouse should definitely stay away. The cabin is surrounded by woods and embraced by nature. It is true rustic not fake rustic. Think gaps in floor boards, cracks in walls, windows tough to operate. It’s all part of the experience! When booking this cabin you will not get a 5, 4, or even 3 star hotel experience so please keep searching. What you will get is an authentic Adirondack “camping” in a cabin experience with all of the awesome amenities listed below as well as a clean space making for a great Lake George stay!
Please note we are not located on the lake however we are 5 minutes away from public lake access and beaches. This listing is also only available from April through October.

Farm stand
We have an independently operated farm stand on property. The stand sources many items from local farmers such as maple syrup, goat milk soap, honey from the bee hives, firewood and much more! The stand operates seasonally and dates of operation are typically April through October. This is also a self serve, honor system farm stand.
Pet policy
Pet fees apply. We have a 25 lb maximum weight limit. (Lap dogs) Two pets maximum. If your pet is over the weight limit unfortunately we cannot accommodate. Please also review additional pet rules inside the house rules section. Any violation will result in a guest being asked to leave without refund.
Cabin is located at our resort among other cabins. However your space is tucked back and fenced in so your privacy is not compromised. You will also have access to resort amenities such as the pool (shared) and WiFi.

WiFi disclaimer
Please note that we are in the mountains with limited cell towers and cable internet service. When there is a surge of people in the area WiFi and cell service tend to bog down. Service is best early morning before 8 am and after 11 pm as usage is down at these times. This is not a problem just at our resort but all over the area given the terrain and limited cell towers. Weekends are the worst of times and weekdays have much better service as there are less people in the area fighting for the same service.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin and boat areas. Guests will also have access to resort pool during normal operating hours. Hours vary see office at check in for current hours.
