The space
It is an old house, it is a project that was close to my heart to "bring it back to life", and to make it a pleasant and serene place to live, with nods to our beautiful country of glass and crystal and the beautiful green of our forests.
Renovating a century-old house with its flaws but a history, the memory of our culture and heritage.
Rent it seasonally to share the hidden treasures of our Pays de Bitche (Bitcherland) / Vosges du Nord near Alsace!
22 minutes from Petite Pierre and 50 minutes from Strasbourg.

set back on your RIGHT when you are in front of 39, you go down into the courtyard.

between 39 rue d 'Ingwiller and the garages.
You have access to the entire house 53 m2 (except attic) - independent entrance set back from the road - entrance without stairs.
You have access to the courtyard (I come to water the flowers and I access my cellar if needed!).
Enjoy the private balcony.
Garden 12 Ares clos is accessible from Gîte Le 38. Views of the valley and forest🌳.

IMPORTANT:
The garden is available to guests during their stay.
I may have access to it from time to time:
- especially for maintenance (mowing: you will be notified beforehand!
watering, etc.)
- to take my dog out (unless responsive dog)
Or exceptionally to enjoy the garden myself when you are away. I would be discreet and I will quickly slip away to preserve your tranquility as much as possible. Unless you want to talk… I adapt.

(two notes: the door is not wide 60 cm, it's an old house) and the shower is not huge: I put a stool there if I needed it and I tested it up to 1.88 m there does not seem to be a problem but I prefer to warn).
The veranda with the glass roof is right next door: everything is step-free at this level even the entrance (large entrance door of 1m). And you have a small private, covered balcony!
Then access to the floor via the stairs:
- There you will find:
a large BEDROOM sleeping 3 (1 bed 1.60 x 2 m) and a bed 90 cm x 1.90 m) with wardrobe, armchair, chair, hooks, nightstands and power strips.
All linens are provided.
Beds made (for a 7-night reservation).
A surcharge may be requested (ex: if you are 2 people and would like the two beds in the room).
- a LIVING ROOM with TV and with a large sofa: convertible L. 1.94 x 1.22 m wide for an adult or two children and a topper. Linens and bedding provided. A surcharge may be requested.
🧹 i'll give you access to the vacuum cleaner, bucket and mops, wipes.
An iron is at your disposal, a clothes rack and an ironing table.
You have access to the large WALLED garden (occasionally shared) and can enjoy a table to eat and a relaxation area under the cherry tree.

👍 New: disposable professional mattress pads will be placed on mattresses, pillows and duvets. Don't take them off, please. I'll take care of it.
Vacuum available if necessary,

Towels are not provided (if you wish I can provide them, the kit is 5 euros per person, payable on arrival).
