Located in the heart of the downtown Savannah “Starland” Arts District, this European cottage is footsteps away from over 40 local shops, bars, restaurants, and music venues. After exploring the historic districts, relax in this brand new space inspired by old world artistry — Such as the antique clawfoot tub, perfect for a bubble bath, or take a nap in the photo-worthy William Morris bedrooms. You’ll feel like you’ve taken a trip back in time to when the old world was new in this quaint space!

The space
Modern amenities with this European style cottage that merge old world and new. There are two bedrooms each with a queen size bed, wireless phone chargers on top of alarm clocks, eco friendly soaps, and a pullout couch downstairs in living room with twin size mattress. Two bedroom one bathroom house that comfortably sleeps up to five guests.

Guest access
The first and second floor of our guest cottage are completely accessible to each guest. There is an owner’s closet in the first bedroom that is only accessible by host. Each guest is able to use the driveway or free street parking (check signs for listed hours) for convenient parking.

Neighborhood highlights

Blocks past the famous Historic District and just beyond legendary Forsyth Park lies another Savannah district, one that has been growing steadily for years and is the place to be for emerging artists and local businesses: Starland District.

Although the exact dimension of this distinctive area varies according to who you ask, most people agree the roughly 35 blocks start at the base of the southern part of Forsyth Park and run until Victory Drive with Bull Street at the center.

Although the area was a booming business center during the first half of the 20th century, the 1950s brought about a dramatic decline in locals and businesses. So when John Deaderick and Greg Jacobs graduated from SCAD in the 1990s, they dreamed up an artsy, lively neighborhood to replace the worn-down, crumbling, nameless expanse. They wanted a sense of community for the locals and a unique Savannah charm to lure visitors, and they’ve succeeded.
