It was such a handy location in the middle of town for all you need. The house was really cosy and welcoming with all the facilities we needed. The bed on the top floor was really comfy. The extra touches were appreciated and we loved the cosy decor. It was nice there were good books and games too. The communication from the host was superb. Thanks for a lovely Xmas stay!

We stayed here for two nights and had a really lovely experience. The host is a kind and friendly lady who made us feel very welcome and was always helpful. The location is in the true countryside, surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved hearing the sounds of lambs and chickens—it added such a peaceful and charming touch to our stay. The caravan was also surprisingly warm and cozy, even though it was quite cold outside. We also absolutely adored her dog—it made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway in the Lake District.

First, the town of Kendal and the surrounding country side are the reason why the English language has the words quaint, picturesque, and sublime. A picture perfect setting that surely inspired the aesthetics for the Teletubbies and iconic Windows XP background. On to the tiny mansion: Clean, craftsman like quality, and thoughtfully designed. You’ve never fully understood “less is more” until you’ve cooked dinner, played scrabble, and watched the sunset over the rolling green hills of rural England until you’ve spent a night at this AirBnB. Meet the Dalai Lama, be blessed by the Pope, but you can never attain the same tranquility as is possible when imbibing in the sheep and tranquility filled respite that is this AirBnB. It’s an amazing apartment. We feel so warm and comfortable here. Paula is very friendly and responsive. It’s the best B&B in our whole journey.
