Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sicily

Nathalie è attenta e molto disponibile. La villa ha ottimi spazi, sopratutto quelli esterni, ed è fornita di ogni comodità ed elettrodomestici. la prossimità all'ingresso sud della Riserva dello Zingaro e ad una delle cale più suggestive del Golfo (Mazzo di Sciacca) sono un considerevole valore aggiunto. Comodità e privacy garantite!

This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge. direkte Umgebung nicht schön aber praktisch, da viele Supermärkte in direkter Nachbarschaft sind. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist kein abgetrennten Raum, sondern auf der Empore im Wohnzimmer (durch eine Art Vorhang abzutrennen). Ausstattung der Küche könnte verbessert werden (2 Weingläser für 4 Leute). Schöner Sitzplatz draußen unter Orangenbäumen. Es gibt eine Nachbarwohnung. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

The house is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature and with the most breathtaking 360 degree views. We encountered no noises in the roof cavity, we slept solidly during our 8 night stay. Being so remote is sometimes not without its challenges, firstly the road to the house is very off-road, which the listing states, with a 3 tonne Mercedes van it was challenging. The weight of the van combined with rain made it a treacherous drive & the gravel blew out one of our tyres. Just bad luck. The electricity is a little tricky to navigate. So avoid using the cooktop and oven at once, but once we worked out the eccentricities it felt like home. We had an issue with our van, it broke down in Scicli. Melissa was incredible, whilst not part of her job description, she leapt into action and found a mechanic to tow our van and get it repaired. The house is very well equipped with pantry basics, adequate toilet paper and cleaning products. Heating is great. A gem of a house and a 11 out of 10.

We had a wonderful few days stay. The house and gardens are just beautiful, even better than the images. Ketty the housekeeper was lovely and Francesca was very responsive. The house is situated 15 min drive from Noto so very simple to get to the shops etc. There are no shops/restaurants within walking distance but we were able to drive a short distance to get everything we needed. Would highly recommend anyone looking for beautiful and traditional Italian villa in a quiet and relaxing area.

Magnifique appartement ! Il est franchement mieux que sur les photos ! Idéal pour un couple et un enfant. L'appartement est parfaitement équipé, et le petit "jardin" invite au farniente, à la lecture (ou à l'apéro ;-) ) durant les heures chaudes. L'île est splendide et le petit centre est charmant. Si nous avons un jour la chance de revenir à Favignana, c'est sûr, nous retournerons dans ce logement !

Elio and Katrina really are super hosts, but are even better than that. The accommodation was great and the location close to supermarkets and with good access to Etna and local seaside villages. The house had the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced and they have thought of everything to make it an home from home.. Access to Netflix and You Tube for Sky News was terrific. Elio was so kind and helpful to us on every subject, exceeding our expectations totally. We recommend Casa Clo without reservation and thank them most sincerely for all their kindness.

Die Erfahrungen, die wir in diesem wunderschönen Landhaus als Gäste von Vincenzo gemacht haben sind unbeschreiblich: Zum einen ist die Unterkunft perfekt gelegen auf einem Berg mit einem weiten Blick ins Tal, umsäumt von mehreren Blumenwiesen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr weitläufig und hat eine große Terrasse. Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. An den Abenden war es im April noch recht kühl, deshalb haben wir den Kamin benutzt. Wofür alles nötige zusammen- und bereitgestellt war und wir die Wärme genießen konnten. Zum anderen sind das Highlight Vincenzo selbst und seine Tiere, die ebenfalls auf dem Anwesen leben. Wir haben ausführlich Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen und wurden immer herzlich von allen begrüßt und beschnuppert :) Insgesamt ein delight!

The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

Appartamento incantevole nel centro di Catania dal quale si possono raggiungere a piedi tutte le attrattive che questa splendida città offre. Conforme all’annuncio e anche più spazioso di come appare in foto. Ci troviamo in un palazzo antico, che da una parte è un plus, ma a volte può dare qualche problema, ma niente di così insopportabile da rovinare lo splendido soggiorno. Consigliatissimo

The suite was very well appointed. The lighting made it very romantic 🥰. The bed oh so comfortable. Ground floor made suite easily assessable. The frig and wine frig were stocked with all kinds food items and wine. Some free…some you had to buy. This was very much appreciated. Restaurants and shopping close by. Salvo made our stay at R&B suites extra special. Until next time😘😘

I can’t say more good things about Sabrina’s place. We practically lived out on the balcony but the interior was also beautiful, immaculate, clean, and carefully curated with beautiful and local decor. We lived in a dream this week! Sabrina was also extremely communicative and provided great recommendations as well! She gave us a tour when we arrived and was so pleasant. Check out was made so easy having to do nothing with sheet or trash too. The pull out couch was made when we arrived and is in the bed room, allowing for the living room couches to still be used. It was comfy, cozy, and had everything we needed. Including an unbeatable view and balcony. Grazie millie!!!

This place was wonderful. It was homey and spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also perfectly located for visiting the historic center. I loved the wooden floors and marble staircases. For the size, it was an incredible value. For summer, there is air-conditioning. On the downside, the bathrooms and kitchen hadn't been updated. However, the bathtub on the second floor was huge and worth luxuriating in. The kitchen was tiny, but we didn't use it. We might have if the host had supplied a coffee maker and some coffee, which was done in the other apartments in Sicily we rented. Because we had trouble finding a nearby market, so we had breakfast in a café on the main street. A list of nearby services would have been welcome. Finally, as others have noted, there is some noise from the bar downstairs, especially on the weekend--even in March. We didn't mind it, but I imagine that in summer with windows open, it might be a problem. I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

What a view!! This place was great. Plenty of space for the four of us. Clean and comfortable too. The kitchen was very well equipped. Many, many stairs and an uphill walk to get to town, but lots to do and places to eat when you get there! A+

We had a great experience at Antonio's. The spot is perfect, beautiful ocean view, right on the lungomare, very close to the main corso but away from the city noise. Antonio was very helpful with recommendations. He went above and beyond a couple of times for us. The unit is private and quiet, and large enough for several people. We enjoyed many coffees and meals on the beautiful balcony. Highly recommend!!

Flavia è una host fantastica. L'alloggio è in una posizione semplicemente PERFETTA. Sconsiglio di trovare soluzioni più economiche in posizioni diverse perchè da questo alloggio si raggiungono tutte le principali mete con una piacevole passeggiata. La casa è comoda, pulita e accogliente. La zona è molto vivace per belle serate ma può esserci qualche fastidio se si va a dormire prima di mezzanotte, ma le camere da letto sono abbastanza tranquille. Abbiamo avuto un problema di natura personale durante l'alloggio e Flavia si è dimostrata comprensiva e subito ci è venuta incontro aiutandoci!! E questo conta più di qualsiasi altra cosa, perchè gli imprevisti in vacanza accadono e avere una persona di riferimento pronta ad aiutare è fondamentale. Grazie!!!

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Villa Lenzo is gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Veel privacy op de locatie. Het dorpje Ferla is met de auto in 5 minuten te bereiken. Daar zijn een paar restaurantjes te vinden en ook een Coop supermarkt. Het is een must om het diner bij Quattro Canti te nuttigen. Traditionele gerechten en de pizza Etna is een aanrader! Verder zijn er een bakker en slager te vinden. In de directe omgeving vind je Pantalica. Een prachtig gebied om tussen de rotsen en langs de rivier een wandeling te maken. Maar je hoeft er niet per se op uit. Heerlijk van de zon genieten bij de villa met af en toe een heerlijke plons in het schitterende zwembad. Er is ook een grote gas BBQ aanwezig om lekker bij de villa een hapje te eten. Voor de sportivelingen is er een tafeltennistafel. Wij vonden het een top locatie en de host Paola heeft ons van allerlei info voorzien om ons verblijf nog aangenamer te maken. Dankjewel Paola!! Kortom, een super locatie om helemaal bij te komen. A private, relaxed villa for our group of two families with four kids. The pool area and surrounds were put to extensive use! Alberto is a wonderful, responsive host and a great local resource, with his many trip and restaurant suggestions adding great value to our trip. Etna put on a great show too which was a bonus!! All round great memories!

Toller Aufenthalt in dieser ruhigen Unterkunft auf dem Berg! Die Lage ist traumhaft, perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Pool war stets sauber und lädt zum Abkühlen ein. Besonders die große Terrasse mit Grill. Das Haus ist sauber und sehr gepflegt, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es werden zudem Extra-Services wie Frühstück, Abendessen oder Massagen gegen Aufpreis angeboten, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht.

Osvaldo ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Das Haus ist sehr besonders eingerichtet und der Garten ist ein Traum

Beautiful villa located with a wonderful view over the valley and Castelbouno town. The house was great with bedrooms on three different floors and the garden was very nice with many different lounge and dining areas. The pool area has amazing view and a really nice pool, though no fence so small kids must be watched. This is a perfect location for day trips to Céfalu with surroundings and we also really enjoyed Castelbouno town. Rosanna and her husband (and the dog Amica) took great care of us and were always available if we needed anything. The only minor issue was that we had a few power outages, but that was quickly fixed. We had a great time and would love to come again!

Glad to have such special experiences in ancient beautiful villa which will be memorable forever. So handsome and helpful landlord Antonio provided us many assists and pretty fresh flowers to us during our accommodation. We liked the horse, peacock, cats and especially cute gentle dog “Musetto”. We will strongly recommend to u if u plan to Ragusa and will be back to villa if any chance in future. Pls don’t hesitate to reserve this villa, it is worth 10+ point if may.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i Francias smukke og autentiske hus. Her var rent og behageligt. Fra terrassen som vi benyttede meget, var der en fantastisk udsigt fra Messina strædet mod Catania. Vi havde fantastisk smuk natteunderholdning af både ugler og Etna. Hvis vi igen komme til Sicilien vil vi bestemt besøge Francicas hus.
