This unique apartment on the Sado River combines vintage charm with contemporary urban style. Embrace the bright wood-and-white interior theme, touches of color, contrasting motifs, open-plan layout, and rustic accents. It is a sunny apartment with a breathtaking sea view, near Doca dos Pescadores in Setubal. It is 250 meters away from “Parque Urbano de Albarquel” and 600 meters away from Setubal beach “Praia da Saúde”. Although it is a calm area there are lots of restaurants nearby. It is a couple of hundred meters from the ferry boat to Tróia, and around 800 meters from the historic center of Setubal. It is also only 200 meter from the bus stop to go to the beaches of Arrábida, where no cars are allowed in summer. We always spend part of our holidays there and as soon as you are inside you are breathing holidays! You can smell the sea! It is wonderful! The apartment is of the exclusive use of the guest. We have arranged for self check in since many of our guests prefer not to have worries about arrival time. So our guest can manage their arrival time as they wish. In spite of that we are always available to help and assist with anything that is needed. We can always communicate via Airbnb but we also provide our guests with our personal number in case they need to call us. Our apartment is on the front line of river Sado, just 200 meters away from Parque de Albarquel and 600 meters away from the beach Praia da Saúde. It is in a calm area, near the fishing marina, but it has a lot of restaurants and activities nearby. It is also only 800 meters from the historical city center. We love the location of the apartment because we have all advantages of beach and city at the same time. You can park on the street, there is always place and it is quite safe. For bikes we can give you the contact of a nearby storage that take care of bikes.

It is a nice house well located in Tróia with an exceptional balcony. The host's tips for our stay were precious and allowed us to enjoy the most Tróia area.

It exceeded all expectations! Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely fantastic! The pictures don't do space justice, which is even more amazing live. Since arrival, I have been impressed by the quality of the environment and the care in the details. The accommodation is modern, well decorated and extremely welcoming. The atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy, ideal for relaxing.

The stay at Hugo's place was great. It is a very comfortable, nicely furnished and well-equipped house, especially for families with kids, in a nice area - just 5-10 minutes drive from the beach in Sesimbra. Many beautiful destinations are close by and easy to reach if you have a car. Hugo was very forthcoming, helpful and very quick to respond to all questions. Highly can recommend it.

'Thank you' Maria for hosting us at such short notice and communicating so quickly to help us relocate from the wildfire areas. Maria's holiday home was ideal for us and had everything we needed; clean, quiet, well equipped and a lovely outlook over the bay. Sesimbra in late September was an ideal base to explore the area; Dolphins spotted and Dinosaur footprints were seen too. Maria's holiday home is a very comfortable Airbnb, close to the seafront and many good restaurants, La Villa & Bistrot were favourites. Everything we needed for a 10 day stay, we'd happily stay again. Best wishes. Nic n' Chris :-)

We had a wonderful stay here. Just enough space for a family of four, with loads of handy bits and bobs around the house for the beach - we loved the hosepipe to wash the sand off outside! It felt like an incredibly thoughtfully designed place. The only other thing we would have wanted was dedicated parking, but there was a car park very close by, so no real problems on that front. Perfect location for a two week stay. Quiet, safe, and peaceful property. 5 min walk to a grocery store and 40 min walk to a beautiful beach. Close to Lisbon via Bolt or Uber. Full kitchen to cook meals, dishwasher, laundry, stocked bathroom amenities. Felt right at home. Ricardo was friendly and responsive. He went above and beyond helping us during the power outage week and even came to check on us. Excellent communication and responsive when we needed help. All amenities were present enough for at least a few days. Bring or plan to buy more if staying for longer. It was our first time in Portugal and we really enjoyed our stay!

We arrived late at night and where we are from, graffiti indicates a rough area so we were a bit concerned. During the day though, the scene showed its true colours and everyone local was amazing to us. The place itself was spotless, the bathroom was hidden in what looked like a pantry and we had a good laugh about thinking we were crazy for not being able to see a bathroom. I would definitely spend an extended stay here in the future.

The truth is that it is well located, in front of the beach, you are a maximum of 20 minutes by Uber from downtown Lisbon, you have supermarkets nearby and also a sushi restaurant right next door that is amazing. So when you return to Lisbon, Luis's apartment is the place.

Lovely stay. Sonia met us on arrival And was very helpful checking us in. Apartment had a lovely view. Was a steep walk back from the beach but we didn’t mind this but just keep in mind. There are some great restaurants near by. We reccomend tacos pexito for a chilled lunch, and Casa Mateus or O bagel for dinner. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks

The apartment is located about 400 m from the beach. You are quickly in the beautiful town center, small alleys and bars. We were greeted warmly by Louisa and her husband in person and received valuable tips. The apartment offers a beautiful view over Sesimbra, the harbor and the sea. We were very satisfied and would book the apartment again at any time and recommend it.

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places, and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything we needed and was not intrusive. Just back from a wonderful holiday with my two sisters at Teresa's spacious apartment. The location is superb for access to the beach, restaurants and shops, great security and felt very safe. The apartment is well equipped with everything needed, especially the kitchen. I would highly recommend and hope to return at some time in the future.
