Vacation rentals with an EV charger in Scottish Borders

Great place to stay! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable and had a wonderful time exploring Edinburgh. Easy (and beautiful) to walk from their place to Holyrod park. If that is too far, public transportation is close to their home and easy as well. Isla and Mike were very responsive and friendly, and I appreciated them as hosts so much. They had all the amenities I’d need, a comfy bed/couch, cozy atmosphere, and they even had some welcome bread and milk, which was great for the morning!

A lovely place to stay. Very remote so peaceful and quiet. A very spacious place, with plenty of space in each room.

The Hemmel was a really nice cottage to stay in. It's probably one of the best airbnb's we've been to. Kate was very nice and helpful. The photos don't do it justice as it's even better in the flesh. We were a family of 4 including a baby and it was super comfortable. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The lambs were out when we were there and we saw the red squirrel in garden each day. We'd would definitely return.

Excellent location. Beautiful little cottage studio outfitted with everything you might need. Check in was very easy and Amanda was very responsive. Would certainly stay here again.

The Bread oven was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished particularly if you want to cook your own meals. The china, cutlery and utensils were all of a much better quality than most Airbnbs .We enjoyed being to sit in an attractive garden. The home made bread, shortbread biscuits, fruit juice, butter, milk and jam were much appreciated and Andy and Sue were helpful and friendly hosts. It was also very useful to be able to charge our EV car on site. We were sent a comprehensive log book before we arrived with gave a lot of useful and helpful information about the cottage and the area. There was plenty of storage space both for clothes and food. We hope to return to explore more of the area than 3 days allowed.

lovely place to stay! will definitely be booking again in the future loved even the small things like having games for to play with, welcome package, having wifi and also speaker to use. The only thing we said was that we wish it had abit more privacy around the hot tub but that’s just personal opinion thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable stay

This is such a beautiful and peaceful place nestled within a secluded residential area, and yet only around 10 minutes' walk from the Meadows. The house had the magical combination of being spotlessly clean and cosy, with lots of details to make you feel right at home. The design and furnishing of the house was really lovely, too, with plenty of space and storage. I particularly loved the window seat for reading in the corner. Howard and Kathleen were excellent hosts, with super-fast and friendly communication and providing some lovely food and drink as a welcoming gift. I had a fabulous week's stay and hope to be back!

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

Lovely place warm clean and comfortable. Would benefit from an allocated parking spot for each guest as I would expect it will get very busy in peak season
