Vacation rentals with beach access in Scottish Borders

Lovely, friendly hosts. Couldn’t do enough for us. Stunning location and beautiful walks not dar away.

Lovely home, and a great location. The bus stop is very close by and the buses are frequent. Worth noting that the bedroom curtains still allow light through so expect to have bright mornings!

Had a great stay with Trish! Such a nice little space with everything you need, plus super close to the train station that goes right into Edinburgh city!

An excellent place. The house is extremely tidy, comfortable and cozy. The location is quiet and is a 5 minute drive from St. Abbs. Shona was an excellent host, always giving very clear and helpful instructions as well as leaving lots of information available for our trip. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Crows nest was absolutely fine, the location being just by the sea front was great and our daughter absolutely loved it. I would say the pots and pans/ kitchen utensils need updating. There wasn’t much to work with and a lot of the utensils were blunt, chipped or cheap/flimsy which made cooking difficult as we did eat in some nights with having a small child. David was a great host and very helpful, he made sure a high chair and bed barrier was in place when we got that which was really lovely. The location was also fine, we would of liked more to do but we were able to go off for the day and have great days out to places near by. With the apartment being on the top floor there was a lot of activity with the seagulls, they like to be on the roofs making a lot of noise and were very loud overnight on the first night but we soon got used to them and that’s something no one can control. Thank for our stay, we enjoyed it!

A clean and spacious flat, a lot of buses nearby and at 30min from Princes street. The sea at a 5min walk is a nice plus !

The flat is great. Very luxurious feel. The living room and kitchen really spacious, the views glorious. Brilliantly equipped all over kitchen, games, extension leads, even poop bags. Lots of watery activities with a surfing school as near neighbour. Lots of space inside and out to simply relax. Two minutes to the beach, almost as well equipped as the flat! 15 mins easy cliff walk to the charming St Abbs harbour. Another 5 to the delights of the nature reserve. Two days barely scratched the surface. Hope to return and dive deeper.

If you're looking for a peaceful place in a beautiful location where can rest and venture out from into East Lothian, this cottage is the place for you! Spacious but homely, quiet but surrounded by animals, rural but very accessible from the lovely village of Gifford. Amy Flora was helpful and communicative while giving plenty of space. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at The Old Bakery. We parked around the harbour easily and everything was in a 5 min walking distance (restaurants, shop, arcade). Margaret was really responsive and helpful and friendly at check-in. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We would recommend this as a place to stay.

had family holiday weekend. the house is very comfortable with lots of space to spread out. Great family kitchen. lovely little garden, it was sunny, so we could enjoy the courtyard listening to all the birds.

We visited with 2 children, a baby and a dog. It was quite cramped but we knew this would be the case when we booked. The setting is beautiful with a lovely enclosed garden and private hot tub area. Emma was very responsive to all Messages sent before our stay clarifying things that were included such as the size of the dog crate, and also whilst we were there. The bothy was clean and had lovely extra touches such a dog treats and a welcome hamper. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Our third visit to Michael’s caravan. As usual, from check-in to check-out, everything was just right! Same time next year!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location with amazing views. Fantastic spot for walks starting right on the doorstep. Handy shop at Cockburnspath. Would recommend and will hopefully return.

Heather Heugh is a wonderful place. It's a lovely holiday house in the quiet, peaceful and picturesque Cove Harbour. The house has everything you'd need for a relaxing stay. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Great cottage, good location.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Lovely house, very clean, easy commute on the train into the city centre

We had an absolutely brilliant time in Tina’s holiday home. It was our first time in Eyemouth and the flat is perfectly located right in the village centre with easy parking and right next to the main shop. The cafe downstairs was out of this world and you could see the sea from the kitchen window. The flat itself is cosy and perfect for couples or families. Our 5 and 10 year olds didn’t want to leave! We only came for a couple of days but we’re now hoping to come back again for a longer visit next time as there’s so much to do in the village as well as surrounding areas.

Small cozy apartment in a quiet location. The center is easy to reach by train or you can explore Portobello on foot. Jamie was extremely friendly and helpful and responded quickly to messages.

Thank you to Elaine and Alan. My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Edinburgh at her apartment. The place was spotlessly clean, well-organized, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We made use of the sofa bed, and Elaine provided detailed instructions and ensuring all the beddings were freshly laundered. To our surprise, even the sofa bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep. The apartment is conveniently located about a 30-minute bus ride from Edinburgh city center, with the number 14 bus stop just a short walk away. Getting off at South Bridge made it super easy to explore the historic Old Town and visit the many attractions around the City Centre. A huge supermarket Lidl is about 5 mins drive away. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Wonderful experience in Musselburgh. The property has a comfortable decorations style feels just like your home. The location is both near to the beach and train station. The host is a lovely couple, they prepared a guide?for our tour in Edinburgh. In summary, It's a unforgettable experience with a reasonable price.
