Monthly Rentals in Scharmer

We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. It is a very cozy cottage. Sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Marlies had taken the trouble to decorate the cottage in Christmas atmospheres. There was even a Christmas tree. She also had a delicious Christmas turban at the bakery. We really felt at home. We had some bad luck with the weather but you can walk here with various excursions within walking distance. Maybe not the cheapest place to stay but really worth the money.

Me and my partner had the most amazing time in this ‘Gypsy wagon’ hosted by Marion and Hank. The accommodation is set in a cute village, close to nature. The village is quiet and you can see various farm animals as well as wild birds around the property. The two cats living on the property, Simba and Rico also visit regularly. The wagon is cozy and romantic. Although we were a bit worried about the smaller size it is well equipped and has a well designed interior. The bed is also very comfortable. The bathroom is a few steps away, it is very clean and pretty. The hosts, Marion and Hank have a cheerful, sunny personality and are always happy to help. The communication is easy and we could always reach them quickly. Would definitely recommend. We are sure to stay here if we came back to Groningen in the future.

Elli and Jan are very nice, unobtrusive and friendly hosts. The covered terrace (100% private) with the amazingly sweet red and white grapes is special. ...and also a good thing in mixed shower weather. In general, the garden is a splendor. To say goodbye, Elli and Jan gave us one of their homemade pumpkins. The apartment is quiet, private and equipped with everything we needed for a very nice stay. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, it is a pleasure to cook there, sharp knives, good pots, plenty of dishes and cutlery.

For family visits, we slept in this accommodation for 2 nights. Everything was present and it was wonderfully quiet.
