The kitchen and bathroom (with shower) have been completely renovated. The bungalow is 60 m2 and has a very spacious garden. Your dog is also welcome. 100 meters from the park is the small but beautiful nature reserve Wildrijk, which is known for the thousands of wild hyacinths that bloom there in April/May. The flowering tulip fields also color the wide surroundings. The car park is located at the beginning of the park. The park itself is car-free. In the parking lot there are luggage carts to carry your belongings to the cottage. Sint Maartensvlotbrug is located on the North Holland coast between Callantsoog and Petten. It is a very good bike and hiking area. The Schoorl dunes are 10 kilometers to the South and Den Helder 20 kilometers to the North. In the dunes between Sint Maartenszee and Callantsoog lies the special Swan water with its spoonbills. The bicycles that are there can be used. In Sint Maartensvlotbrug there is a Spar and in Callantsoog an AH that is open 7 days a week until 10 pm. In Sint Maartenszee there is a laundromat if necessary. Every Monday morning there is a cozy trunk market in the parking lot at De Goudvis playground. In the summer months, there is always a trunk market somewhere on Saturday and Sunday.

From the parking lot, you go by a small shell path to our private, hedge-lined retreat. The Park de Watersnip, where our sea time is located, also has great leisure activities (pool, etc.) available to our tenants & guests. Our apartment is located on the top floor in one of Alkmaar's most famous buildings. It is the ideal base for exploring the city and the region. Step outside into the picturesque streets and canals and take a walk in the city park around the corner. Discover the historical monuments or visit the cheese market, explore the many boutiques or cafes and restaurants nearby. On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.
