The stay was great, the apartment was very stylish and clean, and very well equipped, and Lidia were very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful, cozy, cabin-like room in a rustic, and time-worn mountain village in the Tuscan backcountry! If you want an escape from city life or the madness of tourists at all the usual hot spots, this is a can’t miss place to stay! Expect breathtaking views all around, and the complete serenity of the wild. Monica is a very kind and helpful host, and if you want a place to retreat for a few nights, make sure to come here 👍 A few notes to be aware of: 1) you probably want to be a confident driver for getting here - the roads are tight and after dark you definitely want to have your wits about you for driving in this area! 2) prepare to have to drive if you want to “eat out.” Otherwise, treat it like a cabin / cottage stay and prepare to bring your own supplies / goods for cooking throughout your stay. 3) if you have mobility challenges this might not be an ideal location, since there’s a fair amount of climbing & walking required from parking to Monica’s place. Annalisa perfect , she immediately put us at ease . Beautiful house also really liked our three young children and our dogs . Recommended for families .

Tessa's place was probably my favorite stop on my Italy tour. It is absolutely beautiful and serene. The bed and bedding was so comfortable. The view is breathtaking. The home is so very clean and charming. And Tessa and her mother are angels, so kind and excellent hosts. I would come back here in a heart beat.

We had a great time, if I may suggest adding a cola pasta in the kitchen and I would point out that with the slightly dated fixtures I could not close well, especially in the room. This obviously doesn't affect the rating that remains great. Thanks

We stayed for a month at Paolo’s villa and it was just incredible. The pictures honestly don’t represent the true beauty and size of the home. We had a few groups of friends there at the same time, and even if all of the bedrooms were occupied, there was so much space to have everyone feel as though there was a quiet corner they could go to if they needed it. Paolo is incredibly responsive. His recommendations for restaurants and walks and how to handle different situations we encountered were so helpful, and he is genuinely so interested in making sure the guests have a nice stay. We have rented many Airbnb‘s, and this one was by far the best with so much space, comfortable beds, pristine amenities, and that doesn’t even include all of the external beauty of the place, the walks nearby, and the garden. Don’t hesitate to rent this villa, you will have an amazing stay.

We found our stay with Daniele and Alessandra very pleasant. They are very nice and sweet people, the apartment is located in a very nice area and has everything you need. However, we were there the last week of September and first week of October and it was very wet and cold. According to Daniele, the weather was what they normally have in November. Unfortunately, we could not use the swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, pizza oven and the beautiful garden. What we had enjoyed are the cooking skills of Daniele and Alessandra who had cooked for the two of us and 3 other people. The apartment is located on a beautiful Tuscan hill but there it was 6 to 7 degrees colder than in the beautiful Pistoia, which is located in the valley. We drove down the mountain every day, to look up the sun and in the evening we drove back up the mountain, which was a challenge in the dark. In short, we didn't have the weather but the location and the hosts were great...
