Yara was really helpful for helping with well priced travel on and off the island, and his contacts on island were great at arranging trips around the island, we're always on hand and sorted everything really quickly. The place is amazing, and frankly i didn't want to leave.

It was an exceptional stay for us with Bastien and his wife Claudia. The space is just as expected, the view and calm are divine. The beach is 3min from the accommodation and is extremely quiet. Everything perfectly matches the description so I will dwell on what is not detailed: - The cuisine is amazing, the chefs adorable and the food comes mainly from products directly from the plantations of Bastien and Claudia. - You can also find liqueurs, gin and other tasty spirits coming directly from the Bastien stills. - And finally the hosts themselves, Bastien is passionate and will explain to you the whole process of preparing each locally prepared food or spirits and you will not see the time pass, the visit to the vanilla plantation was also very interesting. We will be happy to come back for a longer period, thank you again Bastien! Ana & Remy

Mr. Zé and his wife were very accessible. We had some problems with the generator but Mr. Zé did not rest until he managed to solve and help. The kitchen has only the essentials but it can be for more basic meals. Lower-floor space has some flying ants and geckos but I think it's normal given the location. The view is phenomenal! And the very quiet space. There's security. We found the outer stairs curious but without rain is quiet :) All check-IN/out and contacts were easy and very accessible! Repeating :)

José was a friendly and considerate host. His apartment was not available to us due to unexpected difficulties with water supply, but José already had alternative arrangements in place for us at a very nice guest house. We would definitely make contact with him again at our next stay.

The place is beautiful, very private with a great view to wake up to every morning. The food is also really good, we had breakfast included which was great and we also ordered dinner a few times which was delicous. If you are going to visit I really recommend hiring a car as getting around without one can be tricky. Nick is also really helpful, he helped organise days out, money exchange, food and other general help too. It is a little bit secluded but all the neighbours are really friendly and kind too and there is a beautiful beach around the corner as well as a few nice places to eat or get a drink. Yves communication before we arrived was also great, she helped organise an airport transfer and food for the first night.

Housekeepers were a really nice young couple. Great food. Very helpful. A good place to see the north of Sao Tome from. However a few problems with the listing. There is no wifi, or no lockbox (which would have made check in way easier). And the map coordinates aren't totally accurate, although, that is common with a lot of airbnb places.

We had a excellent stay at Bastiens place. The area is soo peacefull, with beautiful ocean views and a short walk to a pristine private beach. we would highly recommend this spot and the breakfast, dinner and gin tasting is totally worth it. Would be great to visit again!!

Tribal Green 2 exceeded our expectations in every way. Nestled on a hill with breathtaking views of Santana Island, this accommodation offers a perfect blend of comfort and privacy. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the clean bathroom and the shower with a view added to our delight. The porch quickly became our favorite spot, where we could soak in the lush surroundings and stunning vistas. The location is fantastic, set in a welcoming neighborhood with little shops and “bars” (try a glas of palm wine!) just a short walk away. For beach lovers, Santana Beach and its dive center are only a 40-minute stroll, offering both relaxation & adventure. Nick's assistance was invaluable, ensuring our stay was smooth and memorable. We also loved the delicious breakfasts and dinners, which were a daily highlight. Communication with the landlord was always friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time so much that we extended our stay beyond our initial plans. Tribal Green is truly a gem.

The location is just breathtaking, we really enjoyed our night here. Everything was clean and as advertised. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant werde great. Only subjective issue we had was that the waves were loud, like thunder loud, so it seems we had bad luck with the ‚falling asleep to the sound of waves’ part.

Bastien and his team were fantastic. Nothing was too much of a problem, they organised tours for us and gave great advice. Zao was always on hand and showed us around the plantation.. The staff are clearly all very happy and work hard to please. Bastien was always on the end of the phone and replied almost immediately to any queries. The secluded beach was beautiful and we spent a few hours chilling next to the waves. We ate at the restaurant every night, again the staff were fantastic, and accommodating of anything we asked. You will definitely need a four wheel drive to get there.... But it is worth it.

communication with Waldyr was excellent before check in as well as during the whole stay. I stayed 25 days at this place. It is safe, clean, good neighbours. The place has got everything you need to stay comfortable and it is close to the centre of the town. However, you would be better off having a car or a motorbike during your stay as this makes things much easier. I will definitely be back to see my new friends

The stay went extremely well. The hosts are onions for our comfort, take care of us with little touches throughout the stay. Breakfast is to die for! And they were able to help us find everything we needed in town to start the holiday with peace of mind! The center is 5 min away and the sea, at the foot of the house. Perfect 👌 😁

This place is beautiful, clean and homely. The optional dinner was delicious, the views are amazing. Electricity 24/7, running water and even hot shower. And amazed that there was wifi. Cooking possible and a functional fridge. Its quiet and calm, no one around except some birds and right next to the surf. Totally recommend and definately coming back!

we stayed at Vladimyr's place 9 nights in total the apartment is spacious and has everything for a family, the location (right in fron of the ocean) is convenient to walk to town and has several good restaurants in the same area, including a convenience store and a beatiful coffee shop nearby. Vladimyr communicated in clear english, something not so common on the island, save for hotels. All in all it was a good choice, definitively recommendable and to be used again once travelling to STP.

Mario helped me to get all my questions answered before arriving. He is also a great guide and showed me many places in the whole country during my stay. It’s very difficult to find someone who speaks English in São Tomé so it was great that I had him as a guide. The accommodation is located in a very safe area. The breakfast includes some fresh fruits from the garden. Good value for money. I definitely recommend you to stay here if you come to visit São Tomé!

Fantastic host. Great location just outside the city and very secure. Keep in mind that the electrical grid on the island is spotty, so be prepared to get toasty when there is no power for the fans.
