Really beautiful place to stay. The garden feels like a fairy tale! Would definitely recommend.

The place exceeded expectations. The hosts are very good people. Responded quickly to all our questions. Suggested various recreational options and help with getting to the airport. The area is incredible. The atmosphere is really for relaxing, cozy and peaceful.

First of all, The location was perfect, it’s in the countryside and the views were breathtaking. There was a farm right next to it which made it even more homey. Tips: make sure to rent a small car because the streets in Azores are very steep and narrow. The host was very responsive and any problem we had, he’d come right away to solve. Overall it was very homey and comfy. !!!My fiancé proposed in Azores !!!!

We visited Ruben for 10 days. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay for our stay. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather - all the nicer was to enjoy the amenities of the pool and sauna. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything was top prepared. Ruben even provided us with a welcome basket with all the necessary things ( cheese , bread , fruits etc) from the region:) If we should come back to the Azores, we'll definitely go back there. Very nice beautiful view from apartment 3. Very quite, clean and host very accommodating.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our group of 5 liked the ability to spread out a bit on this 3 bedroom house, and the 2 bathrooms minimized the congestion getting ready in the morning. We liked the private parking inside the property, but since we had a rental that was a little larger and without the greatest turning ratio, we opted to just park on the street rather than negotiate with the driveway. We always found a spot in front of the church next door. Totally equipped kitchen and proximity to supermarkets gave us a break from eating out all the time and a chance to enjoy the property's great backyard. Carla was very helpful, easy going, and the house was spotless. The area is not in the heart of any action, but still only a few minutes drive away from anything, and it was fine by us (in fact, we preferred it). There is a convenient little market literally under the second floor great for essentials. Amazing place, and we were grateful for Carla for the opportunity to stay in it.

I absolutely loved staying in this apartment. It’s comfortable, well-located, and the view on Ponta Delgada from the balcony is stunning. The accommodation itself is cozy, perfectly equipped, and Maria was a very friendly and helpful host. I highly recommend this!

Really gorgeous stay. Made me want to stay at the place rather than go anywhere else. So close to the water so you can enjoy the natural beauty in between other plans. Layout of the home with so many bathrooms was great for multiple guests

I had such a wonderful stay at this apartment! The view was absolutely stunning — I ended up taking hundreds of photos. Even when it rained, sitting on the terrace made me feel like I was right on the beach, truly on vacation, and not just stuck in a room. A huge thank you to Ana for her warm hospitality, flexibility, and all the helpful information she provided. The apartment was just perfect as it is — cozy, comfortable, and very convenient, especially with a baby. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommended!

A house with everything that you need! Excellent spot if you want to visit the Nordeste area. Very friendly hosts, provided us with everything we needed. Very good surroundings, having breakfast staring at the sea was great!

The place is beautiful, homey and spotless, with everything we needed--including wonderful snacks and even a bottle of wine. I could live on that terrace! We recommend this place 100%. A car would be useful for visiting the entire island.

As older family members we couldn't be happier. Sven is a welcoming host and easy to approach. Nothing was out of his purview. The home is warm, clean and complete, but mostly the view is beyond expectations. The location is central to all on the island and we felt at home. Happy to stay in as well as explore. Sven's restaurant list was a plus as well as all things covered on his "list". I definitely expect to return and would hope to stay at Casa de Ilheu.

We can really recommend this little gem. We had a wonderful stay - the house is very private and includes everything one could possibly need for a short holiday. Check in was very flexibel and despite a 3h flight delay we were met at the property right away. Many thanks for the hospitality.

The place was as described. Everything necessary available. We felt comfortable. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean. Communication with Pedro was very good, he was always available and organized the check-in very well, as he himself could not be at home. We had no problem with the dog, but the instructions are correct that people afraid of dogs should not choose this place. Thank you, Pedro!

This was a very well situated home that felt private and secure. The unit was bright and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics needed. The bathrooms were clean and modern with plenty of toilet paper (could have used tissues). We were given 2 towels (one for home and one for beach/water activities) and a hand towel. I would have liked an extra towel for the week long stay. Storage in the bedrooms was great and loved the room darkening blinds! I personally felt the beds were too firm. The couch was equally as firm. For 2 people, the living room furniture was adequate but if you’re a group of 4 or more, there isn’t enough seating. The dining table seats plenty! The balcony furniture was great and my son loved lounging in the hammock and enjoying the surrounding beauty. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk with a decent restaurant on the beach. A rental car is a necessity to get around. Being centrally located meant easy access to all the island has to offer. Great stay!

mariana’s apartment is super comfortable and clean, great view and just some minutes away from a great beach, we had an amazing time there.

Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. This place is just the best. Our whole family loved the house and our kids loved feeding the animals. Sandra was super helpful and patient with our crazy family.
