Vacation rentals with beach access in São Miguel Island

We had a great time here! The view is amazing and the appartment is more then complete. Everything you need is available. The communication with Miguel was easy and he gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we arrived there was enough food for the next day, what a great service! We can really recommend a stay here, you will never forget it!

João is an excellent host, he provided us with the tips about how to best see Azores in the 4 days that we were there and was proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is much larger than we expected, each room is spacious including the kitchen and the two bathrooms. Each room has a sliding door to the balcony the size of which is more like a terrace. The location is quiet and the downtown Ponta Delgada is accessible in 15 minutes of walking. Grocery stores are nearby. The apartment has everything to the last detail, nothing is amiss, down to the laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets., and Q-tips. And if you need anything, João is only a one text away.

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

This was definetely the BEST AirBNB that we have ever had and propably ever will. José, the host, is just such a nice guy, he gave us a very warm welcome when arriving and he was flexible with his time and arranged to be there when we arrived. He gave so many great recommendations for food and activities on the whole island. This is exactly what you need when you are completely new to a place! He even noticed my birthday during the stay and gave me a present. This was so sweet, THANK YOU AGAIN!!! Also for our checkout he said goodbye to us personally the evening before. It was just so great. The house itself also has everything that you need. Everything was super clean and the view from the balcony is just so wonderful. Also the house was cleaned every 3rd day, which is a big benefit compared to other AirBNBs. It just felt like home from the first minute. If we will come back to Sao Miguel we will for sure return to Slope House. Thank you José and hope to see you again some day! :)

Incredible apartment right on the ocean, next to a fabulous restaurant, in the middle of Sao Miguel Island! The apartment was very secure and had every amenity in your room or in the building you could think of: iron, hairdryer, full kitchen, first aid kit, beach towels, bikes, laundry, sports equipment, the list goes on! The host met us, showed us where to park, and guided us inside. We were met with a wonderful spread of local wine, cheese, bread, butter, and beer that was SO KIND and unexpected - it really made our stay special. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to explore the island as it is a wonderful central point!

A house with everything that you need! Excellent spot if you want to visit the Nordeste area. Very friendly hosts, provided us with everything we needed. Very good surroundings, having breakfast staring at the sea was great!

Epicenter was the perfect central location to explore Sao Miguel during the day, and enjoy the privacy of home at night. The neighbors are a little noisy so bring ear plugs but the amenities here made it well worth it!

Bruno was an excellent host. The apartment was adequate for four guests. We felt safe and secure. The location was good with a grocery store on the street and basement parking. The apartment was well equipped and WiFi worked well.

Highly recommend this place for a couple traveling together. It was clean and a great location. Andre was proactive with instructions and recommendations before we arrived and he was super responsive when we had questions.

This was probably our best Airbnb experience ever! A stunning, stylish oceanfront cottage — a true dream. We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and were amazed to find not only a crib, but also a baby bathtub and even a feeding bottle. Such a thoughtful touch! The house is beautifully decorated, cozy, and fully equipped. It felt like a peaceful retreat — we loved relaxing, watching the waves, and enjoying the privacy. The beds were super comfortable, with quality linens and towels. The home was warm and welcoming, with a lovely patio and even a telescope and binoculars to admire the ocean. There were also delicious local treats waiting for us, which made us feel even more at home. Special thanks for the late check-out — it allowed us to enjoy our final morning stress-free. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Nuno‘s place offers a beautiful view from the huge terrace and lots of privacy. The interior is very tasteful and cozy. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Maria's place is beautiful - thoughtfully laid out, peaceful and so very homely. Maria went above and beyond with included amenities and tastings of local produce. Especially appreciated the restful sleep with super comfortable bed and lovely linen. Easy access in and out of the accommodation, so travelling anywhere on the Island is a breeze.

Ricardo was a good host and very friendly. I'd say it is best to communicate with him via What's-App since the Azores make using the Airbnb app rather difficult. The house itself is cute although a bit dated and 'no frills', but the location is truly amazing. You have a totally private back courtyard with a private path down to the beach. The view of the Monastery rocks is incredible. Basically, although a bit rustic, this is one of the most amazing AirBnbs I have ever stayed at - and I have been to over 50.

We have been at the parents house for a week and had an amazing time. The view from the balcony is insane and the whole Apartment has beautiful furniture. The communication was also very easy and lovely. Thus I can highly recommend this apartment for everybody who is doing vacation on the Azores.

We cannot say enough about how much we loved this place! The host was amazing and extremely accommodating. The house is beautiful with SPECTACULAR views. Everything was close either walkable or a short drive. Did I say that the host was amazing yet!???!!!! Bruno made our stay comfortable and relaxing. He is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with.

This was a very well situated home that felt private and secure. The unit was bright and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics needed. The bathrooms were clean and modern with plenty of toilet paper (could have used tissues). We were given 2 towels (one for home and one for beach/water activities) and a hand towel. I would have liked an extra towel for the week long stay. Storage in the bedrooms was great and loved the room darkening blinds! I personally felt the beds were too firm. The couch was equally as firm. For 2 people, the living room furniture was adequate but if you’re a group of 4 or more, there isn’t enough seating. The dining table seats plenty! The balcony furniture was great and my son loved lounging in the hammock and enjoying the surrounding beauty. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk with a decent restaurant on the beach. A rental car is a necessity to get around. Being centrally located meant easy access to all the island has to offer. Great stay!

mariana’s apartment is super comfortable and clean, great view and just some minutes away from a great beach, we had an amazing time there.

We stayed at Maria’s place for one week with our 11 month old baby as she provided all (and more) of the baby essentials (high chair, pack and play, baby bath, towel, shampoo, etc.). Many additional amenities and extras were provided which were appreciated, including a dropped off breakfast one morning. Overall, we loved our time at Maria’s place, having access to guaranteed, private parking was a huge plus! The only downfall was that for the first couple of days there was a musty smell, which dissipated throughout the week. Maria was very responsive and allowed us to check in several hours ahead of the listed time, which was great as we had an overnight flight!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

A huge thank you to Graça and Francisco for their warm and thoughtful hosting. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and perfectly located for discovering Ponta Delgada and the surrounding area. Their availability and recommendations, especially for excursions, greatly enriched our stay. It was an ideal anchor point to explore the island, relax and fully enjoy the Azores. A 5-star experience from start to finish!

We had an amazing stay at Raquel’s place. The apartment is really clean and well decorated. We felt right at home. The view from the garden and the pool is amazing. It feels like a 5 star hotel. Thank you for everything

This place is absolutely stunning, and is highly recommended. The property manager, Bruno, was very responsive and offered up so many suggestions for local food, shopping, etc. He even took the time to create a full itinerary for each day of our stay, which was not requested by us…a nice touch. The property itself is in a great location, walking distance to town (~30 minutes…a 5 minute drive), and the view from the balcony was amazing. The ONLY thing to note was the smell of standing water which seemed to be coming from the main bathroom (nothing an air freshener couldn’t fix though). Small things like the salt and pepper shakers being empty, and no dishwasher tabs is something to note too, BUT, there are two big grocery stores just minutes from the place (by car). Not an issue. Something to note…if you travel between May 28 and June 1 - the parish across the street has their annual festival, and they don’t stop the party until around 2am. Something we were surprised about.
