Great solution! We only stayed one night to climb Cusna, but I think it's a great base to stay longer and explore the surroundings. Nearby there is a bar (Locanda Nuova) where you can have a great breakfast

I had a wonderful stay at Gina's. When I arrived they very kindly picked me up from the station which I was super grateful for. The house was beautiful with traditional interiors. The town is very peaceful and the views from the garden were beautiful! I would reccomend to anyone wanting to get away from a busy city break, perfect for relaxing! Gina was a great host and answered all my questions very quickly and I felt if I needed anything I could happily reach out to her.

The accommodation is an apartment in a large house. A large yard allows you to play outside. The house is within walking distance of the city center with a good butcher and bakery, a cafe and 2 restaurants.

I cannot say enough about Mark. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. His place is beautiful and I loved listening to the river outside the living room and kitchen windows. I was here 9 nights. Mark answered all of my questions - he was quick to respond when I messaged him and simply advice and beyond helpful! The location is beautiful and I was able to find pretty walking paths and restaurants - especially Ristorante da Mamo which Mark recommended. I ate there twice ! I loved that it is not touristy, and at the same time I had easy access to Lucca (take the bike tour of the wall!!!) and Pisa. I did everything by walking and the busses and trains. The bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
