Beautiful place & view. Different ways of doing things from where I live: Push door, not pull. If you’re older, take a taxi and ask for help with luggage (if big and heavy like mine) because this is in an alley so it goes down from a main street into the alley. Also, first floor means upstairs, not ground floor (ground floor is Zero) so 2 flights of stairs. Be aware of where the light switches are so you’re not in the dark when coming in. Once you settle in, this place is a dream: has WiFi, Italian TV/movies, equipped kitchen with stove and refrigerator! A few minutes from the Basilica of St. Francis, close to shops, restaurants, the main parking lot, Pannini or Pizza places. Only 15 minutes to the Comune (center).

We stayed at Franco's for 5 nights and had a great time. The accommodation is brand new and equipped with every comfort. It is located in a central but quiet location, close to trattorias and shops, a stone's throw from the basilica and the bus that leads to Assisi, on the "mattonata" which is the pilgrimage route to Assisi. It is also a great starting point for visiting the heart of Umbria: Perugia, Spoleto, Spello, Todi, and Foligno are a short distance away. Great value too. We highly recommend it and hope to return. Our stay at Ferruccio’s apartment was perfection! Spello is a simply wonderful small town and this was the perfect location to experience it. The apartment was clean, tidy, and the easiest place to live in of the 4 locations we stayed in on our trip to Italy. Everything we needed was provided and easy to find, right where you’d think to look. The view from the large windows and the perfect balcony were magnificent. Life on the piazza below was bustling and perfect for people watching. We were there over the weekend, and it was a little loud at night, but not in the way that disturbed our sleep, just in a way that gave us a sense of the community around us. Ferruccio was an exceptionally attentive, helpful, and cheerful host. I highly recommend!

Paolo's place in Spello is quiet and serene. Paolo is there for anything you might need. The local restaurants are fantastic.

Very spacious apartment with attention to details. We felt right at home. The hosts had also left some things for breakfast (including milk, jams, tarts, etc.) and for cleaning. We didn't have to think about shopping because the bare necessities were already there (such as coffee for the morning, hand soap, etc.). Personal hygiene kits were also stored in the bathroom, which were much appreciated. Fabio and Monica were very helpful, responsive and friendly. A very positive experience!

Had a super 8 night stay here. Paola, the host, is everything you can hope for from an Airbnb host. Super communicative, welcoming and helpful. Her and her husband helped me with a medical issue, which was so kind and appreciated. Wow! Just wow! The apartment is quiet and I slept good at night. It has every amenity that I needed. It is clean and in a safe location. They really put love and attention into this place and it shows. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Alessandro’s and Sonja’s place. They helped a lot with very good recommendations for local restaurants and things to see and do around. The apartment was very clean and cute, even though it was quite moist probably due to lower temperatures in May. For the summer months we can imagine it it is very cooling and perfect for sleeping. We can highly recommend the Castello and would always come back ☺️

Very modern and high-tech decoration, spacious rooms, and well-equipped kitchen. Parking is convenient in the yard in front of the building. I like the coffee shop nearby. On the morning of our arrival, he sent us a very detailed check-in guide, including how to get the entry key, how to park, and how to use the heating and shower facilities. He responded to messages very quickly and the communication was very smooth. Highly recommended

The accommodation was excellent. Great area and Giuseppe was a very nice and friendly host.

Being in the countryside, the presence of insects is normal, but some ants from the beams reached the bed covers. Otherwise, the apartment is very nice. Well-stocked kitchen area and cupboard with everything you need to cook. From this area it is very convenient to reach different places in the surroundings to visit them, it is recommended to shop in larger towns before arrival, especially if the stay is during holidays. The surroundings of the accommodation are very quiet, the noises come almost exclusively from the birds on the trees around the villa.
