Monthly Rentals in Santa Margarita Lake

This was our second extended visit. We love this place so much we booked the next visit before we left the first time! The house is beautifully laid out and impeccably clean. It's incredibly well-outfitted for cooking, dining, linens and other amenities. Lia was a dream host- extremely responsive and accommodating. We loved that it was close to downtown (10 min walk)-but just far enough to be out of noise range. Even closer- grocery, pharmacy and restaurants like Lure and Benny's just around the corner. Short drive to more extensive shopping, beaches and wineries. We live in WA but love this town and think that 1124 California is the PERFECT home base to explore SLO and beyond!

Ideal stay in an idyllic setting. Diana and Peter’s suite was beautiful and pleasing inside and out. It had all that we needed to feel at home. The bed was large and comfortable and the rooms were all clean and well maintained. It was close to everything but felt serenely sheltered from the busyness of the world. We really enjoyed chatting with Peter in the garden and he gave us a great cafe recommendation for brunch. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks, Diana and Peter!

Super accurate description of the place, perfect size for two people. Walkable to everything, about a 15 minute walk to downtown area with everything you need.

This place was beautiful!! And it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay! Our friends loved it as well and we were able to hang out comfortably and play games in the living room area! It was spacious and cozy!! Santa Margarita was very small but has a great coffee shop and antique store! We drove a short way to Avila Beach and San Luis Obispo old town for a fun afternoon of exploring! I would highly recommend this Airbnb for a great stay near some great areas! Our friends who joined us live in Paso Robles which is a convenient distance from many fun things to do! Thank you Diann!!
