Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

Had a great stay at Albertos. Alexa was there to meet us as soon as we got in touch to say we'd arrived earlier than expected. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds comfortable. Location was good (on a quiet sidestreet) 30 yards away from No.2 bus (usually quite crowded) that takes you straight into Venice. Pattisserie across the road and a supermarket 5 minute walk away. Some tips during your stay. Ubers are very expensive but also watch out for local taxi drivers. We had one that took us on an extended tour of Mestre. Luckily we had our GPS on and caught him at it. Knocked down his 26 euro fare to 10 when confronted. Make sure you get a price and address of where you are going. Beware of ordering a large beer at some establishments or you might get a very expensive 1 Litre drink. A day trip to Verona is a good option by train (there are cheap fare options during the day). Don't worry about pushing and jostling to get on to Vaperettos. Every else does it.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (1 couple avec 2 enfants de 3 ans et 1 an) à Venise en grande partie grâce au logement de Federica : central, au calme, proche des commerces (plusieurs restaurants, une excellente pizzeria à emporter, un supermarché à 5 min à pied). le logement était impeccable, bonne literie, cuisine équipée correctement. Le mari de Federica nous a accueilli directement à la sortie du bateau taxi que Federica avait réservé pour nous, c'était une super expérience (c'est sûr que c'est un budget mais qui vaut vraiment le coup!). Il nous a donné pleins de bons conseils pour notre séjour, et tout ça dans un parfait français ! Federica et son mari sont des locaux, ils habitent pas très loin de l'appartement, nous avons pu les croiser pendant nos balades dans le quartier durant notre séjour, très sympathique ! Bref...on recommande sans hésiter !!!!

Logement parfait, quartier très calme, proximité des transports en commun (2 minutes à pieds du bus pour Venise centre). Idéal pour se détendre et profiter! Propreté parfaite et contact aisé avce l'hôte. Nous recommandons !

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable chez Frederica et Alberto à Venise ! 🌟 Leur appartement est un véritable bijou : idéalement situé pour explorer la ville à pied, tout en étant dans un quartier calme et charmant. Parfait pour une famille, il est spacieux, propre, et incroyablement cosy — on s’y sent comme chez soi dès la première minute. Le petit plus qui fait toute la différence ? Le rooftop ensoleillé avec une vue magnifique, parfait pour prendre un café le matin ou un apéro au coucher du soleil ! Merci encore pour cette parenthèse magique — nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Federico’s place was really relaxing and quiet. All the services were next door: shops, restaurants, the beach and public transportation! All our needs were met and more! Beautiful garden and amazing walk to the beach. Lido at its finest!

Ornella's place was incredible. They very very flexible with the check in and check out. The place was very well placed. The apartment was clean and you could feel like home. Definitely suggest .

Un séjour super. Barbara est une hôte superbe, réactif et à l'écoute. Le logement est bien équipé et comme sur les photos. Il est bien situé, commerce et restaurants a côté. Proche de Venise acces facile en bus ou voiture pour aller au Vaporetto. Le plus Barbara nous a offert une balade en vélo au bord de la Lagune, un moment très agréable. je recommande.

This was one of our best stays on Airb&b. The place was a great escape from our busy day trips. Especially the pool and relaxing poolside lounge chairs! The apartment was comfortable and well stocked, plenty of towels, dishes, and paper supplies. The internet was fast and the AC was cold. We made fast friends with the owners, they were great. Roberto gave us tips on how to get around and was knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. We had a rental car and got to go to so many interesting places besides Venice. ( Bologna, Verona, Padova) We probably could have seen more, but we enjoyed staying poolside at the Villa. We made food platters and enjoyed them outside at a great picnic area, it was covered and had flowers around. The grounds were well kept and lovely to look at. The owners were super nice and I could tell how much effort was put into making there villa a paradise. This AirB&b gets a glowing review from us, we felt right at home.

We were hesitant about staying on the Lido at first, worried it would be complicated to get to and from Venice, but it ended up being super nice! The boats were fast, frequent and easy to use, even late at night. Allesandro was a great host, always answering all of our questions and happy to help. The place itself was spacious and clean, just a short walk to the beach and downtown area. We drove to Venice and it was very nice to be able to park right next to the apartment for free in a safe neighborhood.

Paolo was incredibly genuine and thoughtful. Not only did he meet us at the pier to ensure we wouldn’t get lost, but he also checked in when we arrived at the airport to make sure we knew how to buy ferry tickets and other essentials. He provided fantastic local tips, from restaurant recommendations to nearby island attractions, and even guided us on where to shop for groceries so we could cook at home. The accommodation was about an 8-minute walk from St. Mark’s Square—close enough to enjoy the sights but far enough to offer a peaceful, local atmosphere. Initially, we were unsure about the lack of a traditional living room, but the large dining table became a cozy gathering spot for our family, fostering even more quality time. The space was also very generous, allowing our family of four to unpack comfortably and truly settle in. This stay felt like a perfect home base for exploring Venice.

Our visit to Venice was an absolute delight, made the more memorable by staying at this wonderful apartment. It overlooks Canale della Giudecca and whatever the time of day the view is stunning. The apartment is an old family home full of charm and nostalgia….and we loved this home from home feel. Giorgio is the most welcoming of hosts and greeted us in person to settle us in and show us all the amenities available. Would recommend this most Venetian of places!

Ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo, l'appartamento è perfetto per una vacanza al mare, lo spazio è perfetto per una famiglia, ampi armadio rendono la gestione delle valigie perfetta. Our first stop in Italy, and Olivier made our stay so pleasant. We love everything about the property, spacious, clean, kitchen comes with everything we need for cooking, 2 bathrooms are perfect for a group, close to everything. Best place we stayed, we strongly recommend this place if you are looking for space and friendly host.

Ho avuto il privilegio di essere tra i primissimi ospiti di questa struttura. Un casale elegante e accogliente in mezzo alla campagna di Roncade. Un contesto immerso nella natura e nella tranquillità a pochissimi passi dal centro e vicinissimo ad alcune delle principali bellezze del Veneto. In giardino è grandissimo, e proprio davanti alla casa ci sono l’idromassaggio e la piscina all’aperto a servizio degli ospiti. Nonostante fosse ancora fresco non abbiamo resistito ad un tuffo al tramonto. La nostra camera (Flower) era molto accogliente: Facilmente accessibile perché al piano terra, aveva un comodo disimpegno privato dove lasciare le valige. La stanza, molto ampia, è ben illuminata dalle due Finistre. Materasso e cuscini comodi. Il bagno grande è p ulitissimo. L’accesso automatizzato con l’app (sia per il cancello che per la stanza) è molto comodo e facile da usare. Persona molto disponibile fin dalla prenotazione. Sempre molto puntuale nelle risposte tramite app. Al nostro arrivo si è rivelato molto disponibile , sul dare consigli, su come muoversi nell’area circostante. Consigliatissimo!!!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely amazing and matched the pictures perfectly. It was extremely clean, and you could tell great care had been taken to make it feel welcoming. Loretta and her husband greeted us so warmly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They truly are the loveliest hosts, even checking on us during the weekend to ensure everything was going smoothly. Their hospitality is rare to find in Airbnbs nowadays. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again in the future.

Il bungalow e tutto il campeggio sono puliti e curati. I cani sono ben accetti e già solo quello merita il viaggio. In questo periodo molto calmo è stato tutto veramente rilassante. Lo consiglio al 100%

Die unterkunft ist ein Traum. Die Begrüßung sehr liebevoll, alles ist so nett hergerichtet mit einem Begrüßungsgeschenk, einfach traumhaft. Die Unterkunft ist noch viel grosser als ich mir gedacht habe. Sehr sauber!! Alles vorhanden, es fehlt an nichts. Die Veranda ist auch sehr gross und lädt zum verweilen. Simone hatte tolle Tips für die Umgebung. Schade dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren. Wir waren gerne noch viel länger geblieben. Daher kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!
