Apartment vacation rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

We highly recommend this apartment. The location is great, just a stone’s throw away from the Grand Canal, the Ferrovia Vaporetto stations and the train station, yet when in the apartment and garden, it was very tranquil. A great base from which to explore the beautiful city of Venice. We were greeted by Chiara, who made us feel instantly welcome, and provided us with all the information we needed, including local supermarket locations, and also responded very quickly with any queries that we had. Thank you, Chiara! The apartment is very spacious, and well provisioned. Anne had provided a selection of teas, coffees and toasts. The bed was large and comfortable. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs. We made good use of the private, gated garden. We would happily return to this apartment on any future visit to Venice.

Chiara was not only thoughtful but thorough. She was responsive, the space was clean, she was flexible, and helpful. We were supplied with a list of nearby restaurants accompanied by phone numbers, pricing, and ratings!! Wow. When a hiccup came up in my vacation planning for our stay not only did Chiara remain calm and flexible but also went the extra step by sharing tips and information to ease our travel. Thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay at Vicky and Matt’s place! The apartment was decorated like a work of art and the views of the water were breathtaking! It was convenient to the water ferry to get to the main island of Venice and quite a few restaurants were a short walk away. The building it is in is also beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay here! The interior is beautiful and is in a very central location in Venice being in walking distance of everything. The apartment comes fully stocked with anything you could want and was very clean, the hosts are very informative and helpful. Would recommend highly!

This was an ideal location in Venice. Only a couple minute walk from to the Vaporetto and the Rialto Bridge. The apartment is down a quiet street yet so close to all the sights! Check in was a breeze and the place was even nicer in person. We would absolutely stay here again.

This apartment was perfect for our trip! it had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and was in walking distance to local attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. I highly recommend renting Fabio's apartment! He was helpful when we had questions and responded quickly!

Communication with Michele was a breeze right from the start. A few days before check-in we received all of the check-in instructions and even how we can find our way to the home. During our check-in process, our key snapped in the door, we called Michele and they sent someone to open the door immediately and provided another set for us to use during our stay. Michele was kind enough to let us store our bags in their warehouse since we had a few hours before our flight home. They even helped us find local retailers to purchase Alilaguna tickets for our ride to the airport! Overall our quick stay in Venice was perfect!

Arrigo’s apartment was so convenient to the water buses and other forms of travel on the canals. The neighborhood is lovely and is not congested and noisy as other places. Arrigo went the extra mile to be so helpful with suggestions and recommendations. He was so helpful in helping us avoid tourist traps and find better options for not only travel but sightseeing. We had a lovely time exploring the surrounding islands due to his suggestions. We without hesitation recommend Arrigo’s apartment to anyone coming to Venice.

Le logement correspond exactement à l'annonce, nous avons été très bien reçu par la femme de ménage. Emplacement à l'écart des restaurants et toutes sortes de magasins et dans le centre historique, avec un petit canal sur la droite. Très bien équipé pour la cuisine et machine à laver pratique. Parfait pour passer un séjour de rêve dans cette magnifique ville, possibilité de prendre les bateaux pour aller dans les directions. A louer les yeux fermés. Encore merci pour l'accueil de la part de la femme de ménage.

Lieu calme, propre, bien situé avec une hôte très attentionnée et disponible et qui nous attendait à notre arrivée. Par contre, sur la description , je croyais que nous avions la vue sur le canal, mais la photo montre la vue du canal à l’extérieur de l’appartement..

I love this apartment! It’s so light and airy! Great view to wake up to in the morning overlooking the Guidecca. Also easy to get to with Vaporetto or walking. Highly recommended!

Wow, just wow. This is by far the best AirBnB apartment we have ever stayed in. The location was mind blowing and the apartment was beautiful, clean and all so well thought out for an amazing stay in an amazing city. Sara was an amazing host who provided us with all the info we needed. On our arrival to Venice, we chose to get the 10 min Ferry from the train station to our stop. It was only a few hundred metre walk to the apartment. We truly felt like royalty with the location watching the Gondolas go by and surrounded by restaurants. Thank you Sara for sharing your apartment and letting us have the most magical time. We will never forget your unit or the time we spent in the most magical city! Thank you! We will be recommending to everyone!

Davide’s AirBnB was one of the nicest I have personally stayed at. The description perfectly matched what we stayed in, very clean and walkable to everything. It was very spacious and the bed was so big and comfortable. The neighborhood was so nice with a grocery store and pharmacy right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Venice again!

The place was really great. Had everything we needed, and really central so easy to get around to see everything we wanted to see, and really cool to live right on a canal. Micaela was also really helpful and responsive. Since it is central there is a bit of noise, which wasn't important to us - but worth noting if this is something you are sensitive to such things. :)

perfect location close to everything but just nestled enough away that you dont feel over whelmed by the crowds in venice.

We loved our stay here. The perfect location and Stefano it a very responsive and helpful host. This is a very large and spacious house, with every amenity you would ever need. Very close to a Co-op supermarket and easy access from the Ospedale stop on the Water Bus. Very easy walk to all of the main parts of Venice and the location works wonderfully. One tip from me, the Island of Murano is really worth a visit and you are a 5 minute walk from the water bus stop that takes you there. Lots of bathrooms/shower rooms also makes everybody's life easy when you're trying to get out of the apartment to go and explore Venice. I would happily stay here again when we return to Venice.

Die Wohnung ist für einen Städtetrip wirklich super. Der Bahnhof ist fußläufig und einfach erreichbar, in der Umgebung sind viele Bars, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Gegend wirkt noch sehr original mit vergleichsweise vielen Einheimischen und weniger Touristen. Die Wohnung Ansich ist top, das Bett sehr weich und Jacuzzi+Sauna natürlich ein Traum.

Alberto’s apartment was beautifully decorated, pristine, comfortable and convenient. Many details for comfort amenities available, convenient location for easy and walkable site seeing, easy check-in with detailed instructions, and very accommodating and helpful host! Would highly recommend staying here!

Lara was a fantastic host, very friendly and amenable. Nothing was a problem, my son arrived earlier than expected and she was very happy to welcome him and his girlfriend into the accommodation earlier without hesitation. Lara’s apartment was perfectly located for us, an easy bus ride into Venice and lovely to stroll around Mestre. The apartment was very spacious and clean, a perfect size for 5 of us. We had an amazing few days and would definitely stay at Lara’s again. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host.

Nous n'avons pas rencontré Flavio ni Moira mais la communication avec eux était simple et réactive. Nous avons été accueilli par Susanna, qui travaille tout près et qui est adorable. Le logement était très bien et tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. Le quartier est à la fois calme, pas trop touristique, et à la fois vivant, avec tous les services à proximité, et très central dans Venise. Nous recommandons vivement !!

Pierantonio's apartment was one of our favorite airbnb stays of all time. The view of the canal is beautiful, the apartment is away from the tourist area which creates a local/peaceful feel. There are great local restaurants, shops and other activities very close (such as Rialto Market, the public water transport). The check-in process was as easy as it gets, and communication was fast and friendly. It just doesn't get any better...we highly recommend!

It was great stay! I enjoyed a lot, beautiful neighbourhood, not far from Venice! The flat was clean, good condition and taken care well. It made me to feel, that im at home. Monica is the kindest host 100% ever! For sure coming back!
