Guesthouse in Historic Hot Spring Village, Entire
Six friends from Australia, were fortunate to stay at Rumi and Roberto wonderful B & B in the mountain slopes of Bessho onsen in the district of Ueda. 4 days of exploring the area, recommended eateries, onsons, galleries gave us an insight into a unique Japanese lifestyle. Friendly people made us feel welcome and we soon overcame the language differences by a mixture of hand signs and attempts at basic Japanese. The hospitality of Rumi and her recommended places to eat was outstanding. This has been a great start to journey in Japan. It has set the tone for the coming weeks. Thank you Rumi and Roberto.
Spacious 198m2/2BA/Namba Osaka 20min/Station 2min
The say was superb. It was spacious, cozy and clean in a quiet neighbourhood, just minutes from public transport, restaurants, and shops. Perfect for families looking for a place where the entire family can stay together. My kids, two toddlers, had great fun in the play room!

Cozy and spacious Niseko home
Great house for our large snowboarding group! Good distance from Niseko! 10/10 stay again!

遥華~house /Central area for couple /西院駅5分
this was THE BEST air bnb we ever stayed in. she was so thoughtful. not only did she give local recommendations, but also even left bandages, and shower towels, hair caps and all sorts of items just in case we needed them. she was so so kind and so lovely. I would definitely recommend to anyone else. if I'm back in Kyoto I would love to stay here again

Sky Tree Stay Hotel, 4-minute walk from Keisei Hikifune Station, detached house with parking, very convenient location
We arrived really early and needed to leave our luggage at airbnb before our check in time and our host was very accommodating.

Near Hakone-Romantic Canadian House
I myself found the house amazing! though some of the guests I stayed with were a bit wierded out by the furniture in places 😅 overall it was a really clean and also adventurous house! would love yo stay there again for a longer time!

四季の宿~New house Well located next to Kyoto Sta.
We loved our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family. The location was great. Close to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the local and JR train stations. The area wasn’t very touristy so we felt like locals! Express train ride from Yamashina station into Kyoto was easy.

N501 Tenjin Area, 5-minute walk from Tenjin-Minami Subway Station
I had a great stay at this AirBnb in Fukuoka! The location was fantastic, being only a few minutes from one of the exits of Tenjin-Minami subway station. There were multiple convenience stores in the vicinity of the apartment. It was located in a peaceful area, which was at the same time close to the bustling part of town with all the local eateries and stores. The host was friendly and responsive, providing me with a great local Izakaya suggestion that was one of the highlights of our stay. The room was exactly how it looks in the pictures, with great facilities and amenities. If I’m ever in Fukuoka again, I will definitely stay again.

3units sets_1min Namba station! Great access
Jessica’s place is so clean and spacious. It’s very accessible to the train and near Dotonbori. Jessica as a host is very quick to respond and responds very well. Definitely recommend checking out this place.

G-8 mins walk from Waseda Sta/Up to 4p/Wi-fi
Located near Waseda University, in a quiet neighborhood. It's about a 5-minute walk to Waseda Station, so conditions such as subway restaurants are good. The accommodation was on the 4th floor, and I was embarrassed that I didn't know if there was an elevator, but I was very satisfied with the price.

7 minutes walk to Peace Memorial Park #202
Amazing apartment, a real gem! Very clean, super comfortable, and very well-equipped and organized. Everything worked great, the host was extremely kind and always responsive. Thank you very much 🙏

2024 Newly Built Apartment 40 ㎡/5 Stations to Shibuya/3 Stations to Shinjuku/14-minute walk to the nearest station/4 people can stay (2 bedrooms)
This was a great stay! It can be cramped with 4 people but we made it work and was extremely accessible. I would definitely recommend staying here as it’s close to everything but away from the bustle of the city!

Sumika Tokyo/8 min walk to Skytree/Huge 1BR 1LR/4 Queen Sized Beds
Place is easy to access, very nice and comfort beds, spacey easy for 5 people to walking around. Near to station of Skytree and asakutsa, beautiful surrounding... alot of park, and next to sumida rivers... Skytree tower is on the sight, nice view on the night.

Kuromon Ichiba/ New Renovated Airbnb Room For 5
The space was larger than the photos. It was very clean, and both the kitchen and bathroom were equipped with amenities. It was nice to have YouTube on the TV. It was hard to find the accommodation, but it was in front of the market, so there were lots of things to eat or do.

NewOpen※603 BestLocation
It is close to the subway and the city center, so it is easy to access. The place is clean and nice. The water pressure is good and the warm water comes out well. They also provided plenty of towels. If I come to Kobe, I would use it again.

【302】国際通り近く! Stay in 那覇
It's close to Kokusai-dori and Makishi Public Market, but it's an area that retains Naha's good old atmosphere The building and rooms are new and clean It is right in front of Noren Ichiba Market, which is convenient for eating, drinking, and shopping. It's a short walk to Yui Rail Station, but it's just a short walk to the convenient Kainan bus stop Convenience stores, banks, post offices, etc. are also within a 2-minute walk The host's check-in and check-out support is quick This is an inn that I definitely want to visit again

With parking!Near MRT and Nankai line station
I stayed again. It's helpful that you can also take out the trash. I want to use it again.

Cozy Private Room Close To 伏見稲大社 & Heart Of Kyoto
The location is great (literally a 2 minutes walk from Fushimi Inari Shrine), the host is very helpful with both accomodation's questions and other informations and always replied very quickly. The place itself is really nice, clean and had all the necessities one might need. Really recommend it!

Traditional TatamiStyle House of N ° 5 Condominium

Your guide to Japan
Welcome to Japan
Whether you’re new to Japan or you’ve traveled here many times, this country of 430 inhabited islands will unveil a new facet at every turn. You can take in the lakes and shrines surrounding Mount Fuji, the brilliant building-high signs of Osaka, the ancient temples of Kyoto, and the avant-garde architecture on remote Naoshima Island. Tokyo is a feast for urban aesthetes, with globally chic design stores, fashion boutiques, and cocktail bars, while the dramatic gorges and vapor-wrapped volcanos of Hokkaido’s national parks will thrill lovers of the outdoors.
It’s hard not to make Japanese cuisine a cornerstone of your visit, whether you’re sampling your way through regional styles of ramen or honoring the season’s most evocative ingredients with an elegant kaiseki meal. The twin assets of Japanese hospitality and the country’s well-designed infrastructure make it easy to experience Japan’s many delights, traveling between megacities and remote coastal villages.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Japan
Though it’s hard to make generalizations about an archipelago that stretches 1,900 miles, Japan is generally considered to have a temperate subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers, cool but mild winters, and a distinct spring and fall. The farther from Tokyo you travel, of course, the more you’ll want to consult local conditions. The climate in the snowy northern island of Hokkaido — where winter temperatures dip below freezing for a month or two — can be quite different from that of semi-tropical Okinawa in the south, where humid 90-degree summer days are the norm. On the main island of Honshu, spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are the most comfortable, not to mention the most popular times to visit. The landscape is at its most expressive then, especially during Japan’s famed cherry-blossom season in late March and early April. If you are traveling to Japan in late summer, monitor the weather reports for tropical cyclones blowing in from the Pacific Ocean, and keep in mind, September and October are the height of the country’s rain season, so bring waterproof outerwear as well as indoor plans.
Top things to do in Japan
Kyoto’s Higashiyama District
As the imperial seat for more than a millennium, Kyoto has preserved hundreds of stunning temples, palaces, gardens, and of course, the legendary geisha districts. The historic Higashiyama District is one of the most atmospheric corners in this tradition-minded city, and you can spend hours wandering down narrow streets lined with wood-frame houses and centuries-old artisan shops, darting into side streets to peek in small shrines, before visiting the 1,200-year-old Kiyomizudera temple, with its terrace overlooking downtown. Higashiyama shines brightest during the 10-day Hanatoro festival in March, when thousands of paper lanterns appear.
Hiking in the Japanese Alps
Seventy percent of Japan’s landmass is covered in mountain ranges, which curve along the entire sweep of the archipelago. One of the most glorious spots in the northern Japanese Alps is the 673-square-mile Chūbu-Sangaku National Park, located between Toyama and Nagano, 150 miles northwest of Tokyo. In the summer, you can hike along the Azusa river at Kamikochi, seek out the hot springs around Okuhida, or if you’re an experienced mountaineer, trek from mountain hut to mountain hut (make reservations beforehand). In winter, skiers and snowboarders make pilgrimages to the resorts at Hakuba.
Island-Hopping in Okinawa
If you don’t think of traveling to Japan for sublime beach time, you’ve never visited the Okinawan archipelago at the southern end of Japan. Using Okinawa City as your base, you can take ferries or short flights to reach some of its 160 far-flung islands. Go snorkeling in the clear turquoise waters surrounding Tokashiki Island, where clownfish and butterfly fish dart among the coral reefs. Loll on the powdery white-sand beaches of Hateruma Island. Wander around historic houses with tiled roofs and sculptures on Taketomi Island. Everywhere you go, you can sample Okinawa’s distinctive Ryukyuan cuisine, which incorporates influences from China and southeast Asia.
