Before check in The host was always quick to respond to our questions and needs prior to our stay and provided a precise response to help us resolve many of our queries effectively. -------------------------------- Checking in 1. Space & Facilities The common space is large enough to accommodate multiple people at the same time for chat and social needs.The overall environment is comfortable and kept clean and tidy. There are plenty of toilets and bathrooms to cater for the use of multiple guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for all culinary needs.Also, the open kitchen is designed to allow people to interact with other guests, even if they are busy cooking, without missing any chat moments. 2. Location The homestay is about 10 minutes on foot from Kitacho Peaku, and the transportation is convenient. The surrounding area has multiple dining options, including restaurants with food trucks, and is walkable to Lawson convenient store for good living. 3. Service staff The host was greeted in person, friendly, and made people feel like friends, without a sense of distance.It was always quick to respond and help when we raised our needs, which was really appreciated. -------------------------------- Check out Our mobile bus is scheduled to depart at 3pm, well past Check-out time.The host generously offered the living room as a luggage drop off area and open space for us to rest and use the toilet.We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your thoughtfulness and tolerance as this may have impacted the timeframe of the housekeeping. -------------------------------- Wrap up This is an extremely comfortable choice to stay with impeccable performance in every way.I would be more than happy to stay at this quality homestay again!

With the first time skiing in Japan and most foreigners for the first time to see the snow in the first place, I had a lot of good memories in a nice accommodation.Even 12 people were able to relax and spacious!The owner and his wife were also very kind people.

What a little gem. Located away from the hustle and bustle of life in Japan. This is the sort of place you go to get away from it all. Stock up at the supermarket,light the fire and enjoy the snow. It is a rural area and you will need your own transport. But it's perfect if you are in that situation. A thoughtful space with everything you need and nothing you dont. Even the firewood was precut and the fire ready to light. Maybe a little expensive for the location but I he cost will be long forgotten after experiencing the peace and quiet staying here brings.

Naoki was the most amazing host. So helpful and accommodating. Super flexible and provided great information and details. Property is excellent. Such a great stay and loved our peace and quiet. Could not recommend more. Our favourite AirBnb stay yet! Thank you for being such a great host.

very cozy and near the ski resort

Our group of 6 adults loved our stay at Birch Cabin. Would certainly recommend having a car, despite proximity to skii slopes, as the walk looked arduous. In our case, with a car, we had a great time with no issues. The place was as great as it looked.

A beautiful house and Horiko and team were so amazing! They picked us up from bus stop and dropped us off. They also offered grocery drives. The only thing to be aware of is the stairs are quite steep. If you have a lot of luggage.

Great house for skiing in Niseko / Hirafu House was beautiful, as pictured. Living room space and couches were large and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when I come back. Steps away from the free shuttle to the mountain, which ran very often (every 15 /20 mins). Or, if you store your skis in the lockers at the Hirafu Mountain Sports Center Annex (one of the bus stops by Kings Gondola) then you can walk to the mountain in ~15-20 mins. The house is steps away from some of the great restaurants and bars of the areas, including Bar Gyu - so you are right in the heart of the action. Location was amazing. I was a bit worried at first that we were not closer to the mountain, but when we arrived I saw the location was really perfect for our needs. Only issues were minor - had an issue with check in but host responded immediately and cleared it up. Would have been nice to have a few extra towels, as only 1 was provided per person and they were small.

We had a lovely time here during our stay in Osaka. It was super convenient to many of the attractions and the place was a great base with all the amenities we needed. Would recommend.

It is my second time staying because it is convenient and comfortable with a drying room right in front of the ski resort.This year it snowed a lot, but the road to the building was also cleared of snow, so I was relieved. The host Lloyd was flexible with check-in, check-out, shopping at the supermarket, and more, which was helpful.The kids love it.

The house was beautiful with amazing view. Kitchen fill with many cutlery. Rooms are spacious. Check-in procedure was very detailed. Conversation with staff was smooth and they are very helpful. Overall would definitely recommend traveller group who drive to come. Excellent experience!

It was very nice that it was very warm when I entered the room.There was also hot water in the bath, and the hospitality was great, such as a stove!

The inn was very clean, and the room was very warm with a wood stove. It was a cute Christmas tree and the atmosphere of the room was very good. The neighborhood is also beautiful with autumn leaves, and we enjoyed our stay in a quiet and wonderful view. I would recommend it to many people.

The place is very central and walkable from all restaurants and shops it work well if you have no car however I would rather stay outside of the city if you have a car and enjoy the true Japanese experience

We will be rebooking this in the future. It was just what we were looking for. More than enough space for the two of us and all our snowboard gear. Short walk to all the food and bars, but far enough out to not feel the hustle and bustle of the resort. Sherry was very responsive and helpful when I couldn’t figure out the hot water. I would recommend to anyone headed to Niseko.
