Monique's place was just wonderful! It is in fact 15mins away from Duval St. the kitchen is well equipped, the whole apt was very clean, the only down side is that it only has one queen bed. We were two couples and tough that we could just move the two twin beds next to each other but the bedroom is too small to do that. But this place was still great, will recommend it 100% to anyone. Looks like exactly like the pictures and the description. Thank you Monique

This condo has an AMAZING VIEW of Miami Beach and easy access to the Beach itself. It's really what makes this a 5 star for me & my family. I will say the valet parking can be confusing when you want to unload all of your luggage and the elevators can take a LONG time to arrive without being full. I can't blame Norma for that just remember to give yourself some extra time in those situations. For me Miami Beach is one of my favorite in the USA, can't beat it.

We stayed 2 days there with our 2 kids and enjoyed the penthouse ! Even if it is close to the main street, the bedrooms are very quiet as located on the lagoon side. We enjoyed the lagoon view at sunset time and we were also lucky to see several iguana from the deck !

The apartment was super clean and was even better that I imagined. I sat on the large outdoor rooftop deck looking at the moon enjoying an amazing evening breeze. My daughter has severe food allergies so I have to travel with all of her food. Monique was kind enough to let me come in a few hours before check-in to drop off her food in the refrigerator so it would not spoil in our hot car while on a long boat trip that day. That was very kind and it gave me piece of mind.

The 2 bedroom apartment was a perfect fit for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Although you need to have a car to get anywhere it is 12 to 15 minutes ride to center and beaches. The apartment was very clean and organized. We didn't contact Monique even once because check in and everything else was very straight forward. Highly recommended.

Monique's little place was great. It was wonderfully clean and comfortable. Monique was responsive to any questions. It is furnished with IKEA so it has a lot amenities fitted well into a small space. One double in a room and 2 twins in another room, with plenty of closet space for all. The kitchen is fully equipped. The small balcony overlooking a canal and the roof top deck with an outdoor shower was cool. the place is about 7 minutes from Key West so driving is necessary to get into town, the drive is simple. Parking in town was easy but kinda expensive. Overall a great place to stay to visit Key West. Will return. Thx Monique

This was a great spot for us to spend the end of our trip. Private area and close to great activities near by. Joyce and Leslie were very communicative and great to work with. When we had a problem with one of our other stays they were able to accommodate us with short notice. Would stay again!

This place is awesome. We were greeted by the sweetest women. We had the most amazing view of the water. The only problem was that we had to leave!! The host are very accommodating.

Great waterfront spot! Beautiful location...easy to relax by the water all day :) Overall, host was very communicative but not always professional in her communications. She was quite condescending and rude at the end of our stay when we used the main house kitchen (we were staying upstairs) to heat up leftovers. It was unclear to us that we weren't allowed to use it (and still is unclear how we were supposed to know that). Too bad, but won't be returning after that interaction...

Staying at Leslie's place was great. Her suggestions to watching the sunset and after eating at a great seafood place was nothing more I could ask for. Her private beach areas were romantic and her services were fanastic. Definitely looking forward to booking with her again soon

I love my stay in the tree top! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Leslie is super nice, great at communicating, and great at giving you your personal space. The water is perfect, and private. The kayaks are even better. My only negative is the outdoor can use a little more matetinece. Overall I enjoyed my stay, and definitely will be back!

Leslie was a lovely host, and her place is spectacular! The apartment was clean and spacious, and the property had a great area for sitting by the water and relaxing in the sun. My friend and I didn't take the kayaks out because we were too busy sunbathing, but it was a great amenity to have. The location is close enough to sights and restaurants in Key Largo and Tavernier, but in a quiet area to ensure peace and tranquility. And Leslie is readily available if you have any questions or need area suggestions. I highly recommend this spot!

Lovely spot. We used the grill and watched the sunrise. Kayak and snorkel right off the shore, great visibility. Perfect host, great communication. Would definitely recommend.

Honest opinion as it is. The smell is not very pleasant from the water in the bottom of the boat, very similar to foul the water. When met was much of a favor. Had to go back himself, as the phone no one took. A strong current, and swing arm). Put five stars because I don't want to spoil the reputation. The boat is made only to extract money. The very essence of airbnb where housing rents owner - is not respected, I doubt that in such conditions it is possible to live))). Arrive at it a second time?, I think not. The guy welcoming us liked it, but actions show that smile just isn't enough!!!

We spent two nights (two magical sunsets) aboard the boat. While we truly loved our time, it left a little to be desired in terms of cleanliness. Highlights: early morning paddle in the mangroves, sunset on the top deck and seeing sting rays while drinking morning coffee. Best way to beat the crowds in Key West for sure. Thank you!

Think of this like camping, but on a boat and with a comfy futon bed. It was lovely to have some quiet solitude away from the more touristy areas of Key West. Kayaking to the boat can be tough with wind and tides, but also rewarding, beautiful, and I'm sure much easier for more experienced kayakers! Bring headlamps for kayaking back to the boat at night. Zappa was a total sweetheart and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.

The host will take care of you and you'll have a great time with the right mindset and expectations. It is just like camping like they say in the description. So if you are up for a little adventure you will have a blast.

One of the most unique and incredible airbnbs we've ever had. If you are looking to stay off the beaten path in the keys book this ASAP. First off Zappa was super accommodating with us arriving later than expected due to flight issues. Once we arrived, Zappa and his amazing dog Tito, took us over to Free Spirit. Zappa showed us everything we needed to know for our stay. We were able to catch the sunset when we got there (as well as the sunrise the next morning). The boat was just as described and a comfortable space for the 2 of us. We enjoyed having dinner on the top deck and relaxing in the hammock. The next morning we got to enjoy the kayak. Zappa was an incredible host who was also kind enough to pick us up the next morning. Our only regret is spending one night there instead of more! If you love the water and a little bit of adventure, this place is for you!

'Camping on water' is such an accurate description and we loved it! What an adventure! Not for everyone that's for sure but for us, we loved the kayaking for our transportation and the privacy of being away from shore and other boaters. The boat was comfortable and having all the windows made it feel so open. Maybe a solar option for heating the rinse-off shower, that's on deck, along with a lid/sealed receptacle for the bathroom, would for certain get us back there. And of course, Zappa! We absolutely loved staying on the Free Spirit. This is definitely a "off the beaten" path stay. Zappa was a great host. He brought us to and from the boat when we needed and he hooked us up with snorkel gear so we could snorkel around the boat. I highly recommend renting gear so you can see everything below the boat a little closer! There is SO MUCH to see! Dolphins, puffer fish, lobster, jelly fish, star fish, and even a few sharks. We didn't end up taking a kayaking tour with the hosts and that is something we will make sure to do next time we stay. There are the regular amenities in the boat. Towels, linens, pots and pans, plates, cups, dish soap and a few more things. There is a basket on the wall of products left by other travelers that was helpful. You can't guarantee anything will be there but there were a few things we used out of there that we didn't think to bring or want to buy a whole new bottle of. Aloe because we got a little sun burnt for example. The boat itself was great. Could use some work but it's a boat. It's always going to need work. We have stayed in an RV before so we knew what to expect with the marine head toilet so that wasn't a shock to us. The shower is outside off the back of the boat so you are either washing in your swim suit or waiting until night time. It is a bit challenging and comical chasing the shower water in the wind as the boat is swinging. We will definitely be staying there in the future and have a few friends request where we stayed because of all of our adventures we had and our photos we have posted. If you can rough it in the outdoors this place is for you!

Very cool place, secluded in so far as it is a boat in the harbor, but a short skiff ride to the marina. Definitely a unique experience. Best to think of it as 12 or so hours of having your own boat. That being said be prepared for the boat experience, it really is like camping on the water. The owner is extremely nice and easy to contact and communicate with. As long as you understand what boat life is, you'll love it.

A night on a boat in Key West is an unforgettable experience. The bikes provided by Mike were helpful to travel around the island. We enjoyed sleeping with the sound of the ocean and woke up by the sunrise and breeze. Mike was extremely helpful!

First the beachbikes that are at our disposal are cool and very useful to visit Key West. For the boat, read the announcement in full and prepare for a night in rustic conditions a bit like camping. But often a return to the source makes us aware that the essential thing in life is made of simple things !! Happy Holidays!!

Mikes place was one of a kind! Loved sleeping on the deck under the stars and waking up to the sunrise. We did have one night of rough seas but the boat was definitely sturdy enough and we felt safe. This is much like camping so don't expect luxury. No running water but there is a flushable toilet. Bring snacks/drinks!

If you're cool with camping, staying on this sailboat is a cool experience. The boat is nothing fancy, and could use some TLC, but has the basic necessities. Mike had water, lights, a new power flush toilet, a small camping stove and a 12 volt charger for our phones.

Mike was great. The ride out and back is simple and easy. I'd chill again on this boat. Thanks you guys

Staying on the Lil' Bamboo was an awesome experience! We were a little unsure of it but were excited to try something different, and Abby's boat and hospitality did not disappoint. The boat has more space than you think. Sitting on top of the boat and on the beach was very peaceful. On Saturday night, we took the paddle boat to a couple of bars just down the bay from the houseboat and had a blast. My husband enjoyed fishing from the jetty next to the boat. The nearby restaurants and diners serve some of the best food, and if you eat/drink during the happy hours, they are pretty cheap too! All-in-all, it was the perfect location to unwind from our stressful jobs. I was a little worried about motion sickness, but you barely notice you're on a boat at all. We highly recommend the Lil' Bamboo and would go back ourselves. Thanks Abby!

Staying in the Lil Bamboo was perfect. The boat the the marina are exactly what is shown in the pictures, if not nicer. The boat was clean and the bed was super comfy. The air conditioning kept the boat nice and cool when it was super hot outside. All of the people in and around the marina are very nice and welcoming. It was nice and quiet at night too which made for great nights sleep, rocking slightly to bed :) There were kayaks available all the time which was nice. The beach is a great place for swimming or reading a book at night. I enjoyed breakfast on the roof of the boat every day. There are places within walking distance to get a great dinner. Pennekamp park is 5 minutes away, driving. Abby is a fantastic host and a great person, so pleasant and fun. She was helpful in pointing me towards things to do when I asked. I had tons of fun hanging out on the beach with her and the other marina residents (and their awesome dogs). I hope I'm able to come back soon and spend more time on the Lil Bamboo :)

This was by far the best getaway vacation of my life. Our Hostess made us feel so very welcome and was there to greet us and help navigate us through the usage of the houseboat. It was paradise. The location far exceeded my expectations. Everything about our trip was a sheer delight (except for my girlfiend's dog, which she never should have brought). It was so relaxing and just so very beautiful. I have been on cloud nine reliving my dream getaway at this dream location. I can not wait to go back.

We had a great experience on Captain Ron's boat. Great view of the stars and Christmas Tree Island. It was interesting to learn about the history of the boat and its equipment from the captain.

Captain Ron is a very nice host and an experienced guy to live on sea with. His boat is very nice, the space wasn't big but we had pretty good privacy during our stay. Very interesting night.

Captain Ron was a great host and very helpful when coordinating travel plans. If you do stay a night with him, I highly suggest sleeping on the bean bag couch on the deck, makes for a very good nights sleep.

Place is great. It's an experience like no other. Read the whole note before booking and you will find no surprises. Get your water taxi and parking before sunset so you enjoy the experience better. Love this and thr Captain is great. My girlfriend force me to write that the bathroom is tiny. But I can add that she knew plus it was clean.

Too expensive for what it is! Boat looks nothing like the pictures and has a mildew smell in front sleeping quarters. Toilet area was unbearable to even get close to. Door needed to be keep closed! It's best to wait till last call with Water Taxi's latest pick-up around 10 pm if you do stay. I was ready to get off after the first hour! I had reserved for 2 nights but after being on boat for less than 2 hours, I thought I found Captain Ron and told him, we couldn't handle 2 nights and asked for refund on 2nd night. He agreed on refund but said the boat was clean and didn't smell! Evidently with him living on the boat, he was immune to the smell or didn't want to admit it! I wanted off asap the next morning and he knew it but instead he took the other 3 guest with luggage back to shore at 7:30am and we had to wait till 10:40am to leave. Worst experience ever and on my birthday!!! Planned this for 2 weeks also! I spent most of the next day looking for accommodations for my final night. NEVER AGAIN...

Host is a good man, he is friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable than we thought and we had a good sleep. Boat is in the middle of the sea. Boat has 3rooms, consist of six single beds. There were another 4 guests with us and we need to share living room and kitchen. So I think it is better for a group people, you can have fun and don't need to worry about bothering others. Anyway it is a different experience and you can try it.

We had never stayed on a houseboat before, so this was an adventure for us. We loved the neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and genuine; they introduced themselves and welcomed us. The absolute best part of our stay was sitting on the deck in the evening and early morning. One day I ventured out there at midday and by lucky chance saw three manatees gliding by right beside the boat. We liked the neighborhood outdoor cat, Tom. The bed was comfortable, and the entire visit was very relaxing. We could easily ride bikes into Key West's Old Town and beaches. If we go back to Key West, we would definitely consider staying here again. If you don't want to be around a lot of tourists but want to be with residents of the area, this is a nice place to stay.

Perfect accommodations for our two night stay in Key West. Comfy bed, cold AC, all of the essentials. Set on the outskirts of town, a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Downtown. Beautiful view from the roof and bedroom window. Hope to come back someday!

As already mentioned by others, it is slightly difficult to find as it is a bit hidden behind the taxi parking lot, but after some initial doubts we really enjoyed our stay on Brian's boat, our kids absolutely loved it. Fully equipped and functional, easy parking on the street, very nice neighbours. There were manatees swimming in front of the boat only a couple of feet away all day long, and we even got to see some Navy jets practice one morning, straight from the deck (don't worry, only during the day). A really quiet location at night.

The houseboat was easy to find and a quick drive to all the downtown delights. We appreciated the quiet and beautiful views from the bedroom. You have everything you need, but if you're looking for luxury find it elsewhere... it's a houseboat so set your expectations accordingly! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Location is quiet and away from the partying of Duval Street. Staying on a houseboat is a great experience, though I would encourage Brian to update linens, shower and carpets.

Everything about Natalie's place is a treat. We enjoyed the beautiful skies of southern FL, lush semi tropical vegetation, a unique agricultural landscape (okra fields in bloom, avocado orchards flowering), and the most gracious of hostesses. The Pool House has a cool Keys vibe, is clean and spacious, and the beds were a dream. We were treated to a fantastic breakfast spread of pancakes, pastries, fruit, and FRESH eggs gathered from their own live-in flock. Can't wait to visit again, it's such a cool unique spot. Such a great experience from the moment we were greeted at the door till the hugs goodbye. Already planning to make this my stop next year as part of our annual trip to Florida. From the family dinner option to the fresh fruits from the garden and home made goodies. To the great conversation. Memorable!

Natalie and her team were great hosts. The breakfast poolside was a daily treat to look forward to. The pool house photo could be updated to be more current (we were slightly disappointed that things looked a bit more crowded and dated than the photo online). The beds were very comfortable, but the house itself is directly in the middle of the accomation complex so noise was a slight issue, but if you're looking for somewhere to meet fellow travellers, interact and share a beer at the end of the day,this place can't be beat on atmosphere, friendliness, and ease of leisure! Wonderful host! Nice location for visitors to the Everglades National Park.They greet us like family members, which made me feel like home. Delicious food! more than that: the only Michelin star restaurant nearby the National Park, I think. We shall visit again!

The listing for the pool house was completely accurate. A large kitchen / living room and 2 great bedrooms! Nice bathroom. All very clean and cozy! Kitchen was well equipped for cooking, lots of spices provided. Some good condiments left in fridge for our use. On our arrival Natalie showed us all around the house and grounds. Invited us in to watch TV with them because there is no TV in the pool house or the Airstreams. Glen and Natalie make a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Unlimited coffee and juice as soon as you sit down for breakfast. All kinds of fresh fruit, some of it grown by them. Freshly made pancakes one day, chocolate chip waffles and waffles with strawberry sauce the other day. They had toast, yogurt, other goodies all over the table. We were offered eggs both days in addition to the waffles and pancakes. Eggs that were laid by their own chickens on the farm. Natalie and Glen were excellent hosts, the most helpful, knowledgable and caring people we have come across in a long time! We will be back when we come back this way...the only thing missing was a TV. I did not miss the TV but hubby did. Like I said they had invited us in to share their TV! I sure hope to come back to visit Natalie and Glen again.

The hosts are lovely and hospitable! They cook GREAT food and the breakfast is free and fresh! I highly recommended this pool house to everyone!!

We didn't leave the compound but it was located among farm fields and we felt very safe. Loved the location. We'd go back in a minute! They were able to accommodate our large scout group and keep us together. We also loved the cookies and they provided plenty of yummy food!

Rented a one night stay for a quick getaway to the keys and it was perfect. Cozy, quiet, and convenient. The house was clean, full access to kitchen, and snacks galore. It's a 15-20min drive downtown which wasn't bad at all. We lucked out as the other room went unrented and basically had the whole place to ourselves. Did not meet the host but she was very accommodating and I'd recommend in a heartbeat. All in all a great experience.

The room was comfortable and clean, as well as the bathroom (with shampoo and conditioner too, which is convenient). The house is a bit far from Key West but it's ok to hang around. We didn't meet CC but we had her on the phone to get the right directions and she left a lot of flyers in the house.

C.C. was very easy to reach and responded quickly to emails and texts, and once we arrived at the house she was friendly and welcoming. As she no longer lives on the property we didn't see her after check-in but we knew she was only a phone call away. The house is lovely; quiet and comfortable, not too far from Key West or Bahia Honda, and it was great having our own bathroom, plus spacious kitchen and laundry at our disposal. Our bedroom (one of two in the house) was clean, bright, spacious and absolutely perfect for three nights. During our stay, we met another couple of guests who were staying in the second bedroom who were absolutely charming. Highly recommend a stay at C.C's if you're in the Keys!

Everything was perfect! A nice, comfortable house, very clear instructions and information--in all, a very smooth transaction and a very pleasant stay. The fridge and deck could have been a little cleaner but everything was fine otherwise.

We did not get a chance to meet C.C because our stay was really quick for a night. The place was perfect and really clean. It was in a really calm neighborhood and the house has everything we needed for our use. We went to Key west so the travel was not long, it is a good option for the ones not trying to stay in key west.. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.
