This was a lovely home. With a large backyard for our dogs the neighborhood was quiet and clean nicely appointed kitchen with everything we needed.

linvics resort
This has been my favourite AirBnB experience till now! Beautiful house in a gorgeous location, with a wonderful host who anticipated all our needs and provided for them without us even having to ask.

Home in Atherton, Menlo Park
Feng’s home was lovely and very spacious! We had a group of 8 guests staying and it could accommodate a larger group very well! Thank you for a lovely accommodation, Feng!

Beautiful, Cozy Home Located 1 Mile from Downtown!
My family loved this trip. This is a lovely place and the patio is awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining table as we played nightly games. You can walk from here just slightly over a mile and get to the main part of the town. This is 100% worth it as it is a beautiful nature walk and you need to work off the wine. Highly recommend the pioneer museum! We toured. Justin 's wine caves. The wine was spectacular, wish I had booked the castle! Bring you own K cups if such things matter to you...

Downtown 2bd 2ba house in Paso Robles.
Great place to stay for a long weekend in Paso. Only a 5 or 6 block walk to the center square. Clean and well taken care of house. Easy access from the highway. Great place to stay and Eric the host communicated clearly. Thanks!

Cozy Home
Very responsive and helpful regarding any questions. Clear instruction for check-in and check-out.

The Downtown House SLO with Private Parking
The unit looks just like the photos and has a lovely vintage charm that made it feel special. It’s located in downtown SLO with lots of walkable restaurants and shops to explore. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed our time. The beds were comfortable, temperature control had no issues, and didn’t feel like anything was missing. David’s place is a gem and we’d happily stay again!
Oceanfront house rentals in Big Sur

Oceanfront Views - Steps to the Beach
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was peaceful, clean, and incredibly serene—just what our family needed. The surroundings were stunning and made it easy to relax and enjoy quality time together. Stefan, was a fantastic communicator, always responsive and helpful. We truly felt at home. We’re already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful, comfortable getaway! We didn’t have cell reception, but the WiFi was very good! We didn’t quite know how to use the stove but figured it out once we watched a short video online, be warned the stove heats up fast ha. The layout of the house is super ideal as all the bedrooms are downstairs. 10/10!

Seabright Beach House
Home is located in the neighborhood near Seabright beach. Had some minor WiFi issues but the owner very quickly responded and had a tech come out for service repair. I couldn’t have asked for better service! Home was clean. Quiet after 10pm(ish) even on a Friday & Saturday night. Enjoyed reading my books on the balcony while the kids played on the beach. Boardwalk is a 10-15 min walk with multiple restaurants. Seabright beach is a few house down & around the corner. Ideal location. We are so grateful for spending the weekend at this home & all the fun memories we created with some of our older (teen) kids. Thank you again for providing this vacation rental! This air bnb is a key contributor to the great quality time I had with my loved one this weekend. I wish everyone who plays a role in maintaining this vacation rental all the best ☮️

Monterey Bay Oasis on the Ocean!
We loved staying at Shelli’s home in Monterey Dunes Colony. Every room was set up nicely and clean, and you could tell Shelli has put a lot of care into the home. There were 7 of us and each family member enjoyed their stay. We love staying at Monterey Dunes Colony because the location can’t be beat. Every home has their quirks but honestly we didn’t find any at Shelli’s. It was comfortable to hang out and enjoy the beach and scenery, and close enough to outdoor activities and the aquarium. The living room is set up comfortably for a big group, while offering privacy too. It was a restful and rejuvenating getaway! We plan to book again.

Oceanside, Restored, Vintage, Retreat in Cambria
My husband and I spent my 75th birthday at Nick's home. The location was fabulous. I loved being able to see the ocean from the house and sitting on the rocking chairs facing the ocean and watching the waves come crashing in.

Relax Watch Waves Crash Chic + Modern 3BD
Great location, great stay. Beautiful and comfortable space. Worked well for our family of 4. The third bedroom felt a little far away to have our littlest stay in alone but thankfully the second bedroom had a large bed for both kids. Wagon and chairs provided were great for the beach.

Entire house:Steps to beach and ample space
Loved the home. Very comfortable and great location for us. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Would definitely return

180°OceanView+HotTub+EBikes+Surfboards+SUPS+Kayak
Evan's place met our expectations. It has a great view of the many, many surfers at work right across the street as well as the steady stream of pedestrians. This is a very comfortable place. Very clean. Evan supplies a detailed list and review of coffee shops and Restaurants, and suggestions of many things to do. Evan was quick to respond to an issue with the hot tub and get it taken care of. Highly recommended.

Full Ocean View Cottage!HotTub+Bikes+Srfbrds+Kayak
The location was perfect, less than a block to the beach, with a walkable or bikeable pathway extending in both directions. The house was comfortable, with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. There is construction currently along the beach pathway which unfortunately blocks the view a bit, but hopefully that will be done soon. It didn’t take away from being so close to the beauty, sounds and breeze of the Pacific. Would stay again!
Lakefront house rentals in Big Sur

San Francisco Bay Area Ocean View, sleeps 10, 5 BR
This house was absolutely incredible. The linens were very nice. The beds were super Duper comfortable. The view was out of this flipping world, and the Kitchen was very well appointed. I would highly recommend this place. However, if you have problems with stairs, it is set up on several different levels so that might be a little bit of a struggle. There is a bedroom on the top floor, but there is no bathroom on the top floor. However, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

Studio Mountain view/Orchard/Ranch/Working
Sweet little room on the farm! My pup and I enjoyed it.

Visit our Family Lake House, walk to Dock +boats
We had a get together on the property and it was very accommodating and comfortable. Communication was very easy and my questions got answered very quickly. The space was cozy and everyone felt it was nice and inviting. We really enjoyed our time.

Mischief Meadows - 13 Guests with Lake Views!
awesome stay at this lovely location. bunk house had quite a few gnats/mosquitos but none of us got bit. would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Beach House with Stunning Lake and Ocean Views
What a peaceful place. We had a great short visit and hope we can come again! The place is even better than the photos. We spent hours watching the birds, ocean and sun set and rise. It was great that we could bring our dog along too!

Beach Club, Two-Bedroom, Beach, Nature Trail, Lake
David was a great host and quick to reply. There was a very minor issue with a shower draining on a Saturday, and he had a plumber out there next day to check on it! I had a few issues with the tv streaming occasionally not loading with the wifi, but nothing major. The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. 10 minute safe walk to the beach. Convenient parking in the alley. Quiet neighborhood!

Westra's Waterfront Abode w/Private Dock & WiFi
Fantastic lake view!!! The house is great for families with plenty of space for all. The deck areas overlook the lake. The kitchen was also well stocked and easy to cook in. Stay here! We will be back.

Vineyard House at Bianchi Winery
I reserved this home for my family over Thanksgiving weekend as we were visiting the area. We loved loved loved the property. For starters, it was a beautiful setting - the koi pond was right there as we sat on the front porch rocking away with our coffees and teas in the morning. We did a walk and run on the property between the gorgeous vineyards. We met Penny, the hostess, serving in the tasting room. We had a lovely few sips of two of their reds next to their roaring indoor stone fireplace. The home was set up so we could play games, and watch the Warriors on a large screen. It was 12 to 15 minutes to downtown (and pickleball). We also were just a few miles away from the light show in the fields - Sensorio. We had a lovely setting for special family time together. Thank you Beau, Joe, Penny, and team - we will be back! PS We received two love bottles of red complimentary - liked their Zin!
Your guide to Big Sur
Introduction
Big Sur is both a tiny town and a vast region located about two and a half hours south of San Francisco, stretching for 90 miles along California’s Central Coast. Here, you can treat yourself to a rejuvenating weekend getaway full of towering redwood trees, breathtaking 360-degree vistas, stunning cliffs at the edge of the Pacific Ocean, and trails for all levels of hikers and cyclists. Take a dip in the Big Sur River at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park before a late lunch in town, or peer through the fog line to catch a glimpse of California condors, a critically endangered species of bird whose wingspan measures up to nine feet. Whether you’re looking for an active retreat or serenity in nature, Big Sur welcomes you.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Big Sur
Fans of dramatic fog and moody beaches will appreciate staying in one of Big Sur’s cabins from late fall through the end of winter, when the region is darker and cooler than the rest of the year. Drive with caution in January, when peak rainfall can result in slippery roads and even mudslides. Sun worshipers, fear not—you can experience Big Sur in golden light and comfort during the late spring and summer, when highs are in the upper 70s Fahrenheit. The signature fog will still make an appearance, but the rain and chilly temperatures, not so much.
Top things to do in Big Sur
Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park
One visit isn’t enough to fully appreciate the diverse landscapes and activities afforded at this intersection of mountains, forests, river, and ocean. Channel your inner adventurer on the eight-mile Mount Manuel Trail to be rewarded with views of the Santa Lucia Mountains, or enjoy shorter trails that lead to and along the Big Sur River.
McWay Falls
An easy half-mile hike through Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park will lead you to McWay Falls, an 80-foot waterfall that flows year-round. Time your trek right to witness the waterfall splashing directly into the Pacific Ocean at high tide.
Bixby Bridge
Built in 1932, this feat of engineering creates a path between staggering cliffs and allows cars to pass 230 feet above Bixby Creek. There are multiple opportunities to pull over for a clear view of the iconic structure that is often featured in car commercials.
