Ernest's place was beautiful! Very clean, with lots of amenities (including beer and snacks in the fridge -- so nice!) and gorgeous vintage furniture and personal touches. Absolute best value for a private place especially! And only a 10-ish min drive from downtown. Only *very small* critique is that the internet was still being worked out while we were there, so if that's crucial for you, I'd check to make sure it's working. Otherwise an awesome place and an awesome host :)

The studio was perfect for my mother. She is in her late sixties and was looking for a nice place to stay in Albuquerque that was not a hotel. She was so happy and talked about how nice her accommodations were. Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. Ernest was a great host. He had some things to eat and drink in the fridge and checked in regularly via instant message to make sure that my mother was comfortable and enjoying her stay. I met Ernest while he was doing some work on the grounds, he was very polite and professional. I definitely recommend staying here and would do so again. Thank you!

Ernest's place was great. A very comfortable flat that had everything you need, kitchen, laundry and comfortable bed. It was close to everything and he was happy to answer any questions we had very quickly.

Spectacular! We had the pleasure of staying in this amazing studio style cottage that has a full kitchen, living area and private bath. The place was just renovated and you sure can tell! It is beautiful! The located is super amazing. Close to everything. 10 minutes to the heart of Downtown Albuquerque. Super quiet neighborhood and we had zero issues with noise or neighbors. Our gracious host left an absolutely delicious bottle of local wine for us to enjoy along with a six pack of chile flavored beer (mmmm… my favorite!). The entire place was super clean and ready for us. It felt more like staying with family or friends! Our host checked in with us regularly to make sure we were doing good and found everything ok. Highly recommend this place and we plan to stay here anytime we are in Albuquerque! Thanks Ernest for such a fabulous AirBnB experience!

Very neat & cozy once inside. Parking beside cabin & inside fenced area was really nice. Angela & Elliot pretty much thought of everything: fan, TV tray, tea & whistling teapot, fresh flowers, coffee, sugar & creamer. We had everything we needed here. Quaint & comfortable.

Angela's place is very comfortable. The beds are great and the location is very quiet. There was a grocery store a couple of miles away called Smiths. Uber was $9.50 to the Nob Hill area. Angela responded to questions very quickly. I would recommend a stay at her place while in Albuquerque.

I can't say enough about experience we had at Angela's place. The house was quiet cozy, and cute. We felt right at home. Angela was a great host. She thought of everything we might need. Daniel and Anna's place is quiet, and cozy. We only stayed for a night on our journey to California but it was perfect. They let us do our thing, but also offered good conversation. Very welcoming environment. If we ever go back to Albuquerque, we will for sure stay again!

This was an easy 15 min drive from the airport. The room was clean and had everything you would need for simple accommodation including a hair dryer/shampoo/conditioner. The linens were clean and the beds were comfortable

A very good stay, the room is located in Albuquerque south of the city, not far from the airport, there is a separate toilet, a good landlord is also very warm. His family's dog also and I became friends.

Was a lovely home and an awesome family. They invited us to a bbq in there backyard and were very welcoming. Had to leave early due to a cockroach we found in the room but otherwise a great place.

A true delight, the place is larger than I thought and is located in a quiet area. I didn't have a chance to meet Janet but she was very thoughtful. The bed and pillows are super comfy and there is a dining space on top of the bedroom and the living space. Clean and tidy, I have just one obvious choice when it comes to star rating: 5 out of 5 :)

Janet's place and communication was truly wonderful and the house was just what we needed. However, the location/neighborhood of the AirBnb was worse than expected and it made the experience slightly uncomfortable. We had stray animals coming up to our car trying to get food from us upon departure.

Wildwood Place was a delight to stay at, though very short. It was clean,spacious (for 2), and has a beautiful porch to enjoy with a huge tree and singing birds. We only stayed a quick overnight, however are booked to return on our way through Albuquerque next week. It is very quiet and peaceful here.

Janet's place was a short stop for us. Perfect if you need to get to the airport quick. Separate little apartment tucked behind the main house with fridge was all we needed. We did not get a chance to meet Janet but she was very easy to communicate with over messages and gracious in her check in times. Clean eco friendly or organic cleaning products and shampoo was a nice touch. The queen bed was very comfortable!! Recommend staying here

It was great to have our own bathroom; the bed was very comfortable. Valerie does have two cats who are very friendly and Valerie herself was a gracious host.

Staying in Valerie's home and getting to know her gave me the warm welcome and peace I had hoped for, and that seems to be a quality of this New Mexico culture. Very personable and respectful. I am most grateful.

I lived with Valerie for three months while I worked temporarily in Albuquerque. Pros: --The cats are an absolute delight! They are both so cute and sweet and have their own special personalities. Goose definitely holds a special place in my heart. --Everything that I needed was made available: fully furnished bedroom, extra linen, towels, fully stocked kitchen with dishes and cookware that Valerie was generous enough to allow me to use during my stay --There are a number of “luxuries” in her home that you won’t necessarily find elsewhere, including a towel warmer in the bathroom that will make your stay nicer --The neighborhood is very quiet and felt safe, even though it was very dark with little to no street lighting Cons: --It was advertised as a “private bathroom,” but it became clear very shortly after moving in that that was not true. My “private bathroom” was also the bathroom her guests used—that is not a private bathroom. --Valerie frequently entered my bathroom and bedroom without my permission. She would even often rearrange my personal items while she was in there! It was weird, and it continued despite me telling her more than once that it made me uncomfortable. --The alarm system is ridiculously easy to set off accidentally and send the police knocking on the door --She locked me out of the house about 60% of the time because she insists on locking the screen door (to which there is no key), forcing me to have to ring the doorbell and wait for her to open the door for me --Saying she is very frugal with resources (water and electricity) is an understatement. She would get up in the middle of the night just to turn off a light in the kitchen that I was using (I work nights so I am up at night and needed the lights on while I was doing things). I am not wasteful—I used only what resources I needed and what I was paying her to stay there was surely enough to cover my share of the utilities, but that didn’t stop her from monitoring my every move and “correcting” everything I did or warning me not to use too much hot water or I would have to pay her extra Bottom line: Valerie is a nice person, but it was a very stressful environment to live in for 3 months. I suspect a short stay (of a few days) would be very pleasant, but if you stay longer than that, be prepared to put up with a lot of her annoying (I would even say sometimes inappropriate) behaviors and invasions of privacy.

Valerie was a wonderful host! The room was very very welcoming and peaceful. Her entire house was so serene, everything just seemed to flow peacefully. In addition she was great conversationalist and a very talented photographer! I would highly HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone who travels and is looking for that peaceful calming atmosphere that flows smoothly and doesn't feel chaotic and hectic.

Valerie was friendly, kind, and very helpful. She seems to enjoy visiting with her guests but also gives plenty of space. The home is older New Mexico style, to which Valerie has added some very tasteful updates—and her decor is just to my liking. The cats are a presence that you can manage according to your preferences. They definitely grew on me!

Convenient and comfortable. Valerie had great travel tips for the remainder of our Northern New Mexico tour. Would stay again.

We stopped in Ryyan's casita to take a break from camping on our cross country road trip and it was absolutely perfect. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood and the unit is nicely secluded from the main house. The room is really cozy and the bed is SO comfortable. Ryyan also set us up with shower supplies and oatmeal and coffee for the morning. All around a great place for us to recharge!

Probably the best Air BNB I've stayed at to date!! The room was cozy and absolutely adorable! Ryyan provided us with water, oatmeal, tea, and chocolates; and we felt right at home! We were traveling cross country and stopped in ABQ, and the family was kind enough to let us use their garage for the night since my car was packed with all our belongings. You won't meet a kinder host!!

Krishna & Lucia were the best hosts I've ever experienced on Airbnb. Their casita was totally private and exactly what we needed after a long day in the car. We were able to completely relax and get a wonderful night sleep. They were there to greet us when we got there and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and actually more than we expected :) We'll be back for sure!

We spent almost 2 weeks in Casita Linda and became increasingly comfortable. The delicious snacks were enough for our entire stay and the bed was "just right". The kiva fireplace was the star of the show. The location was perfect walking for most we wanted to see...even the Pueblo Cultural Center. We were delighted this Airbnb choice.

Krishna and Lucia's home was amazing. They set up the hot tub and a fire for us to enjoy upon arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was great and the house was so cozy. They had a washer and dryer and a coffee press for us to use. Krishna is extremely friendly and kind and spent time sharing information and suggestions with us about Albuquerque and Sante Fe. We highly recommend this sweet spot and will definitely be back ourselves!

Had a wonderful stay and felt very welcomed by our hosts Krishna and Lucia who waited up for us on our arrival night to show us around and make sure we had everything we needed. The casita was lovely, a great blend of art, artefact and kitsch. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the kiva and reading the excellent collection of guide books, maps, and assortment of literature on New Mexico.

A charming ten minutes walk from the old city of Albuquerque. krishna and Lucia always great anfritiones pending any doubt. I recommend the place without any doubt.

What a cute little casita. Krishna and Lucia were great. They checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed, the house was great. Strange layout of the kitchen but once I figured it out everything I needed was there. The location was 1/2 mile off the highway so it was really easy to get other places and I wish I could've stayed longer.

Really cute and clean little guesthouse with lots of fun reading material and quirky knick knacks. The hosts even make mix cds for the guests to take! We felt taken care of and appreciated that the house was located fairly close to the nightlife, which makes for a quick and cheap cab ride if you're trying to go out.
