Monthly Rentals in Roaring Creek

Amazing cabin/ lodge for our 13 guests to spend Thanksgiving weekend. We had a blast making s’mores and chocolates, playing Jenga by the fireplace . The layout of the house is perfect, it’s big enough for everyone to have their own space but small enough to keep our get together intimate. Truly a gem of a house. The only issue was that the internet did not work and cellular service was very spotty . But quite frankly that was a blessing in disguise because the kids were forced to play together rather than be stuck on their phone ignoring each other. The location was nice and we were able to visit Grandfather mountain and went to Boone to do some sightseeing. Overall 10 out of 10 . Would definitely stay there again . The after hour service for BlueRidge were very helpful friendly and always available. Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely house. We had a blast!

I loved my time here! It was a nice and quiet getaway. The WiFi was excellent and I was still able to work during the day but could unplug and just enjoy the surroundings at night. Highly recommend!

Our vacation here was great and met our expectations perfectly according to the description. The sound of the roaring creek was amazing and relaxing. We loved the home, the location, and the privacy. The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. Cindy was extremely responsive to our questions, providing local recommendations and also giving additional details that were very helpful. She was also accommodating to our sudden need for an early arrival. She went over and beyond what I would expect from a host. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Franks Fossil House is cozy and quiet, and full of wonderful treasures at every turn. My daughter, a fellow fossil lover, was in her glory! We had everything we needed to unwind. Franks communication was terrific! Very proactive and even checked in during our stay. We both highly recommend the Fossil House.
